They should let him play his game. I perceive he is being instructed not to dribble. Most of the times, he just passes the ball as soon as he gets the ball. Coach Rohr also doesn't like him dribbling. This has reduced his confidence on the game. But nobody stops Messi from dribbling. They don't want Nigeria to have a Messi. |
The first solution I proffer if we must solve our security challenges is to build a border fence round Nigeria. There are two many illegal entries into the country and it is therefore difficult to check arms smuggling and criminals can enter the country from any of these illegal entries estimated to be about 1,500. No country can successfully fight insecurity when its borders are porous. And don't tell me it can't be done. If oil pipes can be laid from South to North most of which passed through forest and even under water, it can be done and should be done. No legislator has ever proposed this kind of bill but it is never too late. If we don't do it now, one day, the terrorist will overthrow Nigeria or throw it into a more bloody war. What is your take? |
So anyone or group of people not recognized by law should be killed. I don't get it. What has recognition got to do with the investigation of the killings. This lawyer should be stripped of his certificate. I don't think his certificate is recognized by law as his actions doesn't line up with someone who has a training as a lawyer. |
jagaban002:And they are still not repentant. Rather, they have drawn a battle line between them and the public they are supposed to be protecting. Maybe only the gospel of our Lord Jesus will save them and change them. As it stands, they are still the same. They just changed their name from SARS to SWAT. Their hearts are still the same. |
lymelyte:You are a Prophet. Not many people see it this way. |
Thank God for the daily mistakes and failures of this government in both actions and utterances. It gives us the more reason to kick them out come 2023. |
The last meeting of ASUU and federal government ended in deadlock. In my opinion, I think the offer of 20 billion naira as against the demand of 110 billion for the revitalization of Universities is too small. There are about 43 federal Universities and 48 state universities totalling 91 Universities that the funds will be spread across. The lawmakers proposed a budget of about 37 billion for the renovation of the national assembly. But the FG wants to release 20 billion for about 91 Universities with so many faculties and departments. It is a far cry of what is required. If FG value education, they should borrow to upgrade our institutions of learning the way they borrow to carry out projects we don't even see. After all, the student pay high school fees. Even the 110 billion naira demand is grossly insufficient if they want to upgrade the Universities to world standard. FG should please release the monies so that students can go back to school. They should only set up committee to monitor the judicious use of the money. |
They suddenly have a voice. They want to compound the already bad situation. They should please calm down and avoid another incident. |
Nigeria has no business being in debt. We are too blessed to owe. We just have leaders that are selfish and lack ideas. |
This is how Agbani won Miss world and it is now they know that she was ugly. |
happy200:Paid slave spotted. |
But you will never shed tears seeing Christians killed by herdsmen which you empower. |
I am ashamed of all the lawyers in Nigeria. They are too quiet to a fault. If Falana doesn't speak out against wrong government policies, no other lawyer does. |
I am very shocked to hear of another money to be borrowed to the tune of 1.2 billion dollars from Brazil. This is a very disturbing trend in this government. When we thought we have seen it all. Who pays the debts. What have they done with the previously borrowed monies? They should publish the list of all monies borrowed and what they were used for. This is looting in disguise. When will it be our turn to start lending. Are we cursed? This is the curse God pronounced to the Jews in the Bible. That if they refuse to obey his commandments, they will borrow and not lend. So, is Nigeria under a curse. They will borrow, mismanage the fund and ask us to pay for it through VAT and fuel price hikes. Nigerians should learn to speak against wrong policies the way we did against cattle colony, Ruga settlement and water way bill. Enough is enough. #saynotofurtherborrowing |
Government can't probe what they ordered. Let the International criminal court probe them. |
planetx13:Calling it a zoo is promoting the country. Animals in the zoo are well fed and they don't kill their own. Nigeria is worst than a zoo. It is jungle where the mighty preys on the weak. |
I think we should start another protest - #stopborrowingourfuture #accountfirstforborrowedmoney #accountforrecoveredloot This present set of leaders are thieves. They will borrow, enjoy the money and make us to pay for it through fuel increase and VAT. Let's all with one voice say no to this impunity. |
Our leaders are revealing themselves better to us. No wonder we are where we are. |
Just the way our economy started to go down when Buhari took over in 2015. Why won't the camera stop working. This is a testimony that nothing works in this government. But we know it was a planned massacre. |
Now, they are coming back as SWAT. Let them try to operate with that pattern of Sars again. Demons on uniform. So heartless. All in a bid to enrich themselves. |
Davash222:Don't mind them. There are enough eye witness account. Even their own mouth has testified against them. In addition, Google map confirmed it. |
EMIOMOADEOYE:But he scored five goals in his first four appearance for man United. Was those goals by chance? Please use your brain. There is politics in football. |
Man United should forget about him before they destroy his career. Look at what they are doing with Odion Ighalo. Instead let him go to Napoli and pair with Victor Osimhen. They both understand each other as they played the u17 world cup together. |
Continous assessment contributes to good results these days. When some schools give as much as 27/30 in continous assessment, you just need less mark in the main exam to make a good grade. In our days, it is difficult to get such grade because it is 100% exam assessment. You can see six A1 or at most seven A1 and not nine A1. In addition, there was nothing like special centers in our days. No cheating. No settling of invigilatorrs. No paper leakage. Corruption has crept into the education sector and it seems not ready to leave. May God save Nigeria education from total collapse. |
The person who took the photograph is unprofessional. Is he afraid of going closer to have a better and clearer shot? Well, the combination is already a failure. Maybe in the dream world. |
If sent them there, it is your duty to monitor what they are doing. For several days, cries have been heard from residents over the radio and social media on how the army is dehumanizing them and even killing some of them but you pretended not to hear. Some of them are going days without food including children but you didn't care. Mind you, there are also people of other tribes living there. Now that you know what they are doing, please withdraw them. Use trained detectives to get the killers. Armies are not detectives. Let the people of Oyigbo have their lives back again. Governors of the south east hasn't said anything about this. I am shocked. God forbid we have this set of leaders in the next election. |
Positivepoint:What would they have done. Two persons with AK 47 can sack an entire community of over 100,000 people. I regret sharing this country with people like you. So, children and pregnant mothers should die because of the sins of few people. Why can't the soldiers go to Sambisa forest and recover their guns? |
I don't see why Nigeria should be borrowing. Taxes from companies like this can sustain development in the country. Unless the taxes are going into private pockets. Imagine if 30% tax is paid which is the average tax rate in US, Nigeria will gain up to 30 billion naira monthly just from one company. Effective taxation alone can give us even trillions of Naira monthly. |
The outcry in Oyigbo as a result of the curfew and military presence is heartbreaking. People have been allegedly killed. This is a crime. In any case, my main concern are for the innocent. To think that children are also involved should draw attention. Imagine families not having food to eat, water to drink, and drugs to buy. What about pregnant mothers? Besides, there are people of other tribes there. There are many banks there also. Even if it's two hours for them to get food or beg food from their neighbours, the curfew should be relaxed. Only in Nigeria that government dehumanize people who voted for them. Well meaning Nigerians from all sphere of life should add their voice to what is going on there. Why are the soldiers cruel? Why can't they do the same in Sambisa forest? Have they not lost soldiers and weapons there too? I am sure those who killed their men and took their weapons must have left the area before they came. Oyigbo is a very large community with about 160,000 population. Those who committed the crime are likely not up to 0.5% of the population. So why should over 99% suffer for the sins of a few people. Governor Wike, you have children. Please for the sake of the children, relax the curfew so they can get food to eat even if it's two hours daily. Also tell the army to stop killing. Killing is not penalty for violating curfew. |
Wike just like Tinubu has ended his political career. You can't shed innocent blood and prosper. Their blood will cry vengeance. |
Seasons 2. The drama is getting more interesting. |
