Sincerely Obi should calm down on the number of interviews grants, places he visits and mostly how he talks,he should know that he's a major target by Tinubu and Atiku's supporters, even the mass media and the print media are clandestine agents of destruction on his image working for some of these people. Any thing he cannot really give accurate details about,he should refrain from saying it,or look for a way to avert it.Talking too much isn't good. I am OBIdient for your information |

Everyone stood up as the tall, huge looking, light skinned man walked into the filled to the capacity church auditorium. 'Everyone arise, let's welcome the man of God,he is our godsent, the Elijah of our time, the demon destroyer, the one with the anointing of a bull dozer,my papa!!!!!' the hype man praised. The figure in question walked majestically to his position, some or even most of the members of the church struggle hard to have their hands touch him, some falling at his feet, one woman ran to hold his feet but the body guards going with him, prophet Josh brushed her aside, the man looks mean and seldom smiled, with a big chain cross on his neck,he goes to take his seat, lifted like a throne, his appearance looks so striking. The choristers started, the congregants danced and after sometime the hypeman whom seems to be one of the ministers there came to the podium to address the congregation 'Church praiseeeeeee the Lord' he said 'Hallelujah' they thundered 'I can't hear you, that your hallelujah is suffering from covid, can you stand up and jam your hands for the God of papa Josh, the god of Jerusalem Prayer and prophetic deliverance ministries incorporation a.k.a Action Jesus' the hypeman said There was a resounding hallelujah. Now is the hour we are waiting for,he continued 'We would be getting to hear the Oracle speak, others are echoes but we are to hear a voice' 'Somebody say 'it's my turn' he adjured the congregation There was a buzz 'Amen,so I invite the Oracle, the fiery lion, the voice in the midst of echoes, the one with the ororo on him, overdose anointing, Rev Apostle Papa Josh' he said There were cheers as the the clergyman stands up and his bible picked up by one of the guards that rushes to drop it on the pulpit with the minister kneeling to give him the microphone..... *If we are following please comment. |
It started with a light peck and then my arm reaching over her hair, and the rest they say is history.. I was a good boy, growing up under a strict parental guide, could remember vividly then as a kid going to church with my father, always seated close to him and listening to the preacher.. yes I was. My parents though not that born again type but were those good church goers, they don't skip church yet they never practice what they learn from church because I could remember my dad giving me a sip of beer from his glass of beer sparkling from the glass and what we have for entertainment during the day was to watch movies that has content of sex and violence though as kids we would be sent out of the house or told to close our eyes when we come across sex sites, but little did they know that feeble heart is already getting afflicted by sights of such practice, and I asked myself 'What are they doing? As tender as I was the environment too could not help as obscene jokes are thrown around and women moving around sparsely clothed, tormenting innocent kids like us,suffice to say it looks like Sodom. Growing up I came to know of various songs that even has sexual contents, anytime I hear of them it registers nothing but sex,one day I mistakenly walked into a neighbours room and saw him in the act,I have to flee but I was restless, something was happening to me,I was confused and afflicted morally. In our public compound there abound boys and girls as teens knows nothing else but discuss s*x,they bring books that borders on that and pictures, and this pressure mounted on,who can deliver me,I asked myself, I try to find solace in studying the Bible but it looks like it doesn't help me at that point. The breaking point was when I came into contact with a totally explicit movie, that was when I went to visit a friends house,it was so explicit that I was so hot,I have to run home and luckily no one was there to see me,I went into the room and yanked off, that was the first time I was seeing semen, yucks I was embarrassed but that started a whole new era of an addiction that nearly ruined me.... There is what makes life meaningful and it is called 'PURPOSE'. Purpose is defined 'as an assignment tied to your existence',Myles Munroe of blessed memory said that there is something for you to start that is destined for you to finish. Waking up every day is an opportunity but making the most use of your time in affecting lives positively is a blessing. There is no greater joy you will come to have when you discover that what you are doing is in line with what you born to do. You don't come to have purpose 'when' you are born rather your purpose was already determined before your birth, and your purpose was not determined by your parents, nation or society but by God. Your parents were actually channels to bringing you into this life but God is your producer, don't allow the description of people about you on the negative becloud you,and don't wait for the recommendations of people before you come to know that you are unique. Know it first, believe in God and in yourself! Everyday ponder on what you can add to life with those ski lls, talents and abilities you got, think of how you can address issues and be a solution provider, think of how you can be a bridge and not a wall to things that can bless humanity. Focus on what you can positively engage your time in,a wise man once said it is not duration that matters but donation to life.Build a relationship with God and focus on doing the right things. ©Truthsoldier Follow Mind Revolution Network on the Blue street app for more |

.....I believe everyone is entitled to vote anybody, Nigeria is not a property of any man,Nigeria is not Yoruba,Hausa,Igbo or any other tribe,Nigeria is me and you. Nigeria is not a Muslim state or a Christian state,Nigeria is a secular state, where everyone is entitled to his or her faith or religion without attacking that of others. If you are to market your candidate respect the faith, the beliefs, the choice and privacy of others, let's only make constructive criticisms, not some of the 'battles' we do here on nairaland and the social media. Focus on the very core things that affects us generally as a nation and fight for that at the polls,by casting your votes, give your votes to someone that his or her vision carries a national picture, a person whose antecedence has a repute. Enough of this show of extremism. Show love for your candidate but respect that of others, and note also that the way you go about marketing your candidate can demarket him or her. Let's be wise 2023 would be fine. My humble submission. |
...This should not be the reason why I will be searching and digging into peoples privacy in order to get a fault, and if I couldn't find one I then resort in creating one. That I am in support of one candidate and not in support of another should not make me use it as to create a religious propaganda in order to cause religious tension and to tarnish another man's image,I know most people would call it politics but that's nonsense. That I am not in support of your candidate should not be a reason why you should be making inciting statements calling it prophecy. The truth of the matter is that we are still far from learning our lessons, both the religious institutions, and the other bodies has further fueled the issues making it look like war,is this the way that we want to birth the New Nigeria? You said that your candidate is good, yet he gives you paltry sum of 5k to go and destroy properties and you willingly go for it,he gives you 8k and that is just two thousand naira for the four years in office and you gladly accept it,calling it love and can even go to the point of burning houses and molesting people not in support of your candidate just for that meagre sum.. Good day nairalanders One of the things I by the grace of God has said is that I will try to say the truth,no matter whose ox is gored, and in this case I want to say something on I am going to try to be pointed. I have tried making a post on this issue sometime ago,and I think I need to make another on this topic as occasion demands. The upcoming elections in this country is going to be one of the most decisive elections that will ever be had in this nation of ours come 2023 as it was in 1993,but the way we are going about it in some quarters is going to make it look as if it is a thing of war. Funny enough it looks like this game for the most prestigious seat of government in this nation is between the three major contenders from the three major ethnic groups in the country. Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the West with Kashim Shettima a former governor of Borno state as his running mate and from the ruling APC government, both Muslims. Atiku Abubakar from the North, from the Fulani extraction, a former vice president a Muslim with his Christian running mate from the South south geopolitical zone by the name of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta state, both from the PDP Mr Peter Gregory Obi from the East,an Igbo extraction, a former governor of Anambra state,a Christian, with his running mate by the name of Datti Baba-Ahmed a Muslim from the North and from the Labour party. The interesting thing about this is how the followers both online and on ground or onsite has been going about in the expression of support for their candidates, I strongly believe that everyone is entitled to support any candidate of their choice whether they are from amongst the three major contenders or from the sixteen others. There is a difference in showing love and extremism, the truth is that the way most of these so-called supporters go about in expressing their love for their candidates looks extreme, and even ridiculous and it puts their candidate in bad light. If I am in support of BAT,Atiku or Peter Obi that should not make me to behave irrationally or be a blind follower,no,that should not make me to start looting, and threatening peoples lives because they are not in support of my man, that also would not be a reason in creating threads to manipulate peoples hearts and incite hate...... Good day nairalanders There are things which I see in Christianity today and amongst so-called places that are called churches which in truth are not in any way close to churches but shrines in disguise of 'church'. I was talking the other day with a friend of mine whom always go with these guys of prophet this and that, this friend of mine can hang out almost every weekend with these people, and always going to mountains or so-called deserts to pray, when he returns and in a form of gist he would tell me what some of these people do in the name of God. I will always tell him to be careful. In one of our discussion, he told me how a so-called prophet friend would go in lie with some girls and later come and mount pulpit, preach and do great miracles, this so-called prophet tries to get him to fornicate with girls telling him that it doesn't matter. On another occasion according to him,he went with a supposed prophet to a mountain to pray and as he got to the place he saw a man whom got engaged in dialogue with the supposed prophet that he(my friend) should be taken away, killed or they should never bring him again to that place. And this are so-called men of God. For a family deliverance according to him that he goes with some of these people they charge from 50k to 300k with sumptuous treatment. There are many other things he said that space would not permit me to share here, but seriously people need to be careful, study your bible, know God for yourself to avoid falling into the hands of these charlatans most masquerading as men of God, may God keep us. |
Lately I came to muse over the incidences that happens in marriages today, people during courtship would look like they are all loved up,things looking so lovey dovey,he is her king and she is his queen and it looks like heaven. Fast forward they get married and in a very glamorous way with kit and kin in attendance only for a couple of years or even months the marriage crashes, ridiculously is that I have seen marriages crash in a just a week. This becomes a concern and a reason why baby-mamaism is on the rise in these days, most young ladies would want to just be a baby mama, those who have the money may just look for a sperm donor or get a surrogate mom to have a child discard from their mind of anything called marriage. For the guys they barely talk of marriage these days, the thing is a matter of concern, until I began to observe that most people only plan for their wedding and not marriage, I discovered that westernization and some modern day ideology has been a major inspiration to many people today, again I discovered that most people don't take their time in studying the important things about their partners and the fallen state of values and morals in our society today. It is honourable to marry, marriage is a blessing but those involved are major deciders on that, our fathers knew something about marriage that those of this era barely knows and has even discarded as old skool,I shudder at the thought that if this would continue, marriage as an institution would be thrown to the dogs and who knows what the next generation would become.

Good day Nairalanders There is this thing I have seen in this parts of the world and it is giving me a lot of concern, which I think is hinged on the issue of poverty, ignorance, tradition and religious indoctrination. We complain of poverty and bad economic situations in this country yet you see people breeding children, in a family you see couples struggling to survive yet having babies with no adequate spacing and most of these children looks uncared for and hungry. I used to live in a public yard in the past, in that compound every year three to four women must give birth, and these women most times in space of just merely a year, their husbands don't have like a kind of business that yields much income, the women struggling yet producing babies and that's the only time you will see joy in the compound as kids and even adults will be announcing that 'mama so so and so' has put to birth, and they will go visit her in the maternity or wait for her when she returns from there. Sometimes I will just be like 'haba dis people no dey tire',whenever I try to bring that line of argument, some people will say 'Na God dey give pikin o' a way of saying 'It's God that gives children' but I say 'God nor give you sense to use?'. Most people in search of a particular gender of children goes on to have multiple children, that's how one of my colleagues in search of a male child went ahead to have six girls, luckily for her she just put to birth and now she has twins,a boy and a girl making it eight children and none in secondary or tertiary institution yet. I have in mind to have just three children, this is not a matter of no money or whatever, money is not the issue here and having these kids is going to be with adequate spacing, and I think this will help give more time to properly rear my kids and enjoy my marriage very well. |
Sometimes I sit to think and muse over so many things but in all my thinking, the one that comes to be more prominent of them all,is the thought of what life is all about. I have heard many people come up with so many assertions as to what life is all about,to some it is like a market,a yoyo,a swing,a school, a stage and so on and this goes on to shapen the conduct of such persons in their dealings with others and in their relationship with God. Now I was having this deep thought about life and I discovered that yes life can be summed up in these three ways, that life is; A Test A Trust and Life is a Temporary assignment The life everyone of us have is summed up in these three perspectives, Life is a test because in this life we undergo series of trials,we everyday pass through one thing or the other,it is a test also because by the reason of things we have our attitudes are being scrutinized if we hold them so dearly to our lives or we hold God in high esteem. Life is a Trust because we are not the owners of it,it is a trust because it is given to us by God inorder to profitably maximize it in a way he will be glorified, whatever we have is a trust,God gave you the life which you have that you might use it in a way that will positively impact your world and bring him glory, not for drugs, masturbation, fornication and a whole lot of others. Life is a Temporary assignment because we don't have forever to be here, you have an expiry date, one day both you and I will die, meanwhile while we are still alive,we got to devote our time in fulfiling our assignment in life, building legacies that would be remembered when we leave this life. The day I knew this my mindset changed for good.
