HayWhyLawal: I wonder what kind of life is this. My faith is going weary and leaving in fear for the unknown. I deeply lamented here several months ago about what I was going through but didn't know that what I faced months ago was just tip of the iceberg. Lots of people advised and consoled me that things will get better with faith and hardwork but things have gone worst. I motivated myself, kept faith in God and put more effort to my hardwork...all to no avail! Then what more can life offer me.....I know God answers prayers but my strength is going down and my faith is getting weary. I have lost visions and initiatives in succeeding because it seems nothing is working for me presently. I'm just like a walking ghost. I need every kind of help.... Its well my brother or sister. Just keep your head up. |

Anyway, to the gist, the former minister, 54, is currently dating former Miss Valentine and 2014 Miss United Nations World 2014, Precious Chikwendu, who is also an actress and model. She's popularly known as Snow White and I have written about her before... She's currently living in his Abuja home and I hear he's so smitten with her. She was on a movie set last week in Lagos with four police men guarding her. There are whispers that he's planning to make her wife number 3. I know her well because she used to date actor IK Ogbonna...

Politics › Re: Survey Tips Buhari To Win March 28 Election- The Sun Newspapers by Tunagee(m): 1:04pm On Mar 19, 2015 |
NgeneUkwenu: Just ten days to the presidential election of March 28, a survey carried out by a National Think Tank Group, has predicted victory for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari.
The two-page analysis of the survey, tagged: “Straw Prediction of 2015 Presidential Election”, made available to Daily Sun by Dr. Peter Orji, gave Buhari/APC an estimated votes of 15.4 million and President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), 11 million.
The researchers stated that they arrived at the figures after “a careful study of the demographics of Nigeria voting patterns, based on an unbiased analysis of how voters shall cast their votes.”
According to the group, Buhari would lead in the North-East, North- West, North-Central and South-West, while Jonathan would win in the South-South and South-East.
The survey said Buhari would eventually have an upper hand going by heavy votes he would record in his catchment areas against Jonathan, who the survey said, would garner fewer votes in his areas of strength.
However, unlike 2011, General Buhari, the survey said, “will secure substantial votes in the North-Central and greatly improve his showing in the South-East.”
The survey summed up the distribution of the votes across the zones thus: “North-Central, PDP, 1.73million, APC, 1.86million. North-East, PDP, 1.3million, APC, 2.55million. North- West, PDP 2.15million, APC, 5.65million. South-East, PDP 1.65million, APC, 650,000. South-South, PDP, 2,.2million APC, 1.7million. South- West, PDP, 2million, APC, 2.9million. FCT, PDP, 150,000, APC, 200,000.
In summary, the survey revealed that, “the APC candidate will carry all the states in North-West and North- East and will win marginally in North- Central,” saying, “the margin of victory for Gen. Buhari is a staggering 4.4million votes and it is impossible for President Jonathan to close such a margin.”
What would boost Buhari’s victory in the North-East and North-West, the poll explained, would largely be due to expected increase in the voters’ turnout, “whilst the turnout in the South-East and South-South is likely to decrease.
The simple explanation, according to the group, “is that the North-East, North-West and South-West zones feel that their sons, Buhari and Osinbanjo, are on the APC ticket and considering the number of votes accruing to the three zones, Jonathan will find it absolutely impossible to fill the gap.”
While concluding, the group said that, “because of the postponement that occurred five weeks ago, a repeat this time will not go down well with Nigerians who very likely will accuse the administration of having its hand in disrupting the process, and because of the tight timelines to avoid a possible constitutional crisis a shift in the elections this time may become impossible to contemplate.”

Family › Re: Hillarious! Satisfy Us In Bed Or Face Mass Divorce - Kaduna women protest by Tunagee(m): 3:01pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
GlorifiedTunde: A group of women from the Rido community in Kaduna State, took to the streets on Wednesday, February 19, 2015 to publicly complain about their husband’s sexual weakness, asking that they start performing their matrimonial duties or face mass divorce.
The women, who were assembled at the NDA Junction in the state capital, blamed the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) for their husband’s inability to perform as a result of the chemical waste and fumes from the company into their environment.
Speaking to newsmen during the protest, some of the married women complained bitterly that some of the men in the Mararaba Rido community were impotent due to the toxic waste from the KRPC.
They revealed that their husbands suffer weak erection and infertility, while the women suffer miscarriage and other health complications.
A married woman, Jummai Isaac, 27, said she has not taken in since she got married in the year 2000.
“I haven’t conceived since I got married in the last fourteen years, and doctors have, on several occasions, confirmed to me absence of any known cause of inability to get pregnant.
Initially, doctors thought I had fibroid in my womb, but after several scans and some medical tests, they dispelled that notion.”
However, a community leader, Mohammed Bashar, explained that, “Most of the complaints could be associated with secondary infertility, because victims have, in the past, given birth to children before they suddenly stopped.
There was widespread belief that smoke and poisonous gases emitted from the refinery have reproductive health effect on people living in the area, but no medical report has confirmed the allegation due to inability of villagers to seek comprehensive medical tests, perhaps owing to lack of awareness and poverty.

Politics › Re: Explosion Rocks PDP Meeting In Yobe by Tunagee(m): 4:25pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
falconey: A powerful blast suspected to be from an Improvised Explosive Device, IED, has rocked a political meeting in Potiskum Town of Yobe state.
The explosion occurred in front of the residence of a local politician, Sabo Garbu, in Kandahar area of the town.
A resident of Potiskum, Adamu Mohammed, informed PREMIUM TIMES that Mr. Garbu, a former member of the House of Representatives, was holding a meeting with his associates when the bomb blast occurred.
“The house was full with PDP members holding meeting there. It just happened and it’s not far away from our house,” he said.
Mr. Mohammed said those who survived the blast ran away from the area in fear of second blast, and so it’s difficult to know the extent of damage or casualty.
Mr. Mohammed also said another suspected IED was sighted in the GSM market in Potiskum.
“Police bomb squad are already in the market trying to defuse the bomb found there when the blast in our area occurred,” Mr. Mohammed said.
The GSM market was the scene of a bomb blast last month that killed six people and injured many others. Yobe is one of the states most affected by the Boko Haram insurgency.
