the general problem of Nigeria is the people themselves and we are all part of the people. This politicians where once ordinary people like us and I am sure most of them would have wanted to change the narrative before they entered into politics but one thing is that our brain have been wired in such a way that ourselves come first before any other thing. That is why corruption has eaten deep into the system because most of us would rather satisfy ourselves and family first before we think of sacrificing for others. I have seen people who complain about our government worker treat them when they go for any registration but this same people would do the same thing when they get to that same position. It is just the mind set of an average African man is different from an average white man. That is why they say if we swap with the people of USA today, they will develop Nigeria into USA and USA will deteriorate into Nigeria.

This national id card stuff I have one big issue. I did my own last 2years and I was able to link it with my sim and even use the inec app. But dis year I bought a new sim and tried linking but I was seeing another story that it cant find my details, that I would have to re enrol again.

The issue with that kind of project is priority and cost. Most of the critical needs of the people are abandoned for huge project without serious impact on 75% of the population. Imagine when billions are spent on airports, govt house, guest house etc while the rural areas are without Water, roads, security, functional education, poor healthcare etc. The billions spent on elite test can fix the rural areas and reduce poverty. The poverty in Nigeria is as a result of expenditures that are elite driven.

u made a lot of sense. I think road construction, providing water for areas that lack and education should be focused on especially in the rural area. Like imaging if most rural area are as developed as the urban area people won't be rushing to the urban area thereby causing overpopulation

I see so much hate here and I shake my head. Like I don't understand if this people here are the same set of people or they have the same mentality. U say Igbo hates Yoruba, but all I can see from this is the opposite. Yes she is wrong and maybe she should be fired but almost all of them have been attacking igbos since and they say igbos are hate filled but they are the one displaying the hate.

Someone that travels abroad and is not lazy will surely do better there depending on the kind of job he was doing here before. For example I know someone who went to Germany and within 2yeard he completed his house, bought a car for his wife and he comes home once in a year plus family billing every year and most of his friends in Nigeria have still not gotten their own house. I am so sure if he was still in Nigeria he won't be able to achieve such with his previous job that paid him less than 100k.
