Romance › Re: Finding The Perfect One by twosquare(m): 1:45pm On Nov 24, 2021 |
[s] valves: You need to understand intersexual dynamics. ladies (and guys too) have a timeline, but most are oblivious of it until much later in life when it's almost too late.
Ladies are at their peak period when they are between ages 18-24 (for some it extends to 26). At this stage they are approached by all kinds of guys, obviously because they are young and beautiful, but this attention they get makes them to feel like they are on top of the world, like goddesses and gifts to humanity. Among those approaching at this stage are people who genuinely want to settle with them for life, but they are not ready to forgo all the attention they are getting from the other guys. They basically want to explore and date different people.
When they approach ages btw 28-34 they realise that they are no longer as attractive as they used to be and are not getting the attention of guys as before (this is the epiphany stage). Then they become desperate to settle down but most guys/suitors have already gotten married or switched their attention to much younger ladies. So the top guys they were interested in during their peak period are no longer available to them. Most ladies at this stage will still adamantly refuse to lower their standards and settle for someone who isn't (in their minds) "up to their (unrealistic) standards", and they keep aging while waiting for "Mr Perfect."
For guys the story is different. Guys peak around 32-36 years. At this age they have worked very hard and made money, are financially independent and ready to settle. But most of them will settle for ladies who are younger (ladies in their 20s), only a handful will go for ladies in their 30s.
Also, our generation is losing it. Some ladies find it hard to keep a man because they do not know their roles as women. They have consciously or unconsciously become hard-core feminist. Reality is most men don't want to settle with such ladies.
Summary is no lady will truthfully say that guys (well-intentioned guys) never approached them in their twenties (peak period). But they are on top of the world at this stage and belive they have all the time in the world and can attract anyone just because they are young and beautiful.
If you are a lady in your 20s (especially mid 20s) pls while you are getting all the attention from guys try and identify a potential suitor to settle down with. The older you get the more difficult it becomes. [/s] |

Vanity upon vanity! Asan lori asan...oniwaasun na wipe, Asan ni!
Nigeria adopting Western system of civilization that they can't really uphold and play by its rule has really destroyed a lot of things...including the fabric of the society...that is why everything is so much in disarray.
In developed societies, you see church boys of 22, 23 getting married to their mate....non-religious and religious alike getting married immediately after college....why? Because their economy churns out job and job dey plenty except you no wan do.
One major thing that is causing all these bitter tales is finance. If there are jobs, no one will wait to marry his sweetheart.
Money stops nonsense like my brother does say.
If you are a young man still in the school and you are reading this....don't get into a relationship...Don't be pressured into a relationship because others are getting hooked. Fight that temptation and rather use that time to learn high-income skills....save your money in foreign currencies....and have a plan by saving towards it to migrate or begin your own startup...whatever you do, invest heavily in self-development. |

One demon don dey dance kuluso inside your body. Bnaira77: Dear nairalanders happy sunday to you all. The reasons for my subject is about spiritual matters I hope you all will enjoy what I'm about to share with you. Thanks anyways
The scripture says blessed are those who hear the words and do them they are like a wise man who built his house upon the rock Matt 7:24
I'm saying this because I've really been trying to practise the word of the LORD since ive committed my life to the LORD, following the men of God on youtube, teachings like Prophet T.B Joshua, Bishop Oyedepo, Benson Idahosa, E.A Adeboye e.t.c Most especially Prophet T.B Joshua ( R.I.P Man of God)
There is one of his sermon on youtube which says how to be filled with the Holy Ghost. I love this teaching so much that I watch it and practise it over and over again but now I'm tired I mean practising it, why because I was so much in love with the Holy Bible before I started watching the teaching and after I've been practising it, it is like so hard and strange for me to read, study my Bible again.
Tho the teaching really helped me groaning, singing psalms in the spirit, talking to myself in psalms and hymns.practicing it whereby I got my healing via the teaching. I noticed my heart was cleaned that it manifested in the outside. In my chest there are strange things that I had not seen before and at my back there are also strange things that was not there so now my question is am I filled with the Holy Ghost ?
1. My body, spirit and sould is so strong now but I cant sit and study my Bible unlike before 2. I cannot read or study my Bible like I used to after practising the teaching 3. I no longer fall in Love with my Bible like I used to because I've practised this... Am I filled with the Holy Ghost?
I feel exhausted after practising the teaching for the past 3-4 months.
Has anybody gone through this spiritual process or its spiritual boriness or spiritual depression
I feel tired when I'm about to study the word unlike before please help me where I can study the word from Morning till night... na wa oo
I want to go back to that peace
Your opinion is highly prioritized Ps. I won't sleep at night for the past 8months and more following the scripture Thessalonians 5 vs 5

Reward is given to the wise, not nice reward...reward....reward....reward... 5 out of 10 virgins in the scriptures were called wise, not nice. If they were nice, they would share their oil....but they were wise, not nice, so they didn't. A nice person can unknowingly pet evil, but wisdom will instruct a wise man to detest certain things. November24: As sweet as it sounds,it's not biblical

SMH...Don't prepare yourself for an ungodly lifestyle based on the rudiments of this world and the philosophy of men. I knew when this type of lifestyle started gaining prominence, especially in Nigeria. It is a rubbish African-American lifestyle being imported by our celebrities from the West...whom I will call apostles of Satan...it breaks down the value system of marriage. God who gave us the marriage institution is not stupid; it is actually a safe haven to raise future generations. You need to read some of these baby mama and baby daddyism in America, I mean memoirs. They don't have it cool like you portray that lifestyle. Na regret...Both from the child's experience and parents. If we lose the traditional setup of marriage in Nigeria, then we are in serious trouble. I believe why marriage is no longer attractive, apart from the bad economy angle, are the people therein...not the institution itself. People whine about marriage rather than whining about their own self...by improving and moulding themselves to be a better version. For any marriage to succeed, it must imitate and implement the Book of Philippians.I believe in marriage so much, and I want to marry. I want to be the shepherd of my family and lead them to good pastures.
After all, if Noah didn't marry, we won't be here or given a second chance.
May the peace of God be upon marriages and those who advocate men to keep it honorable and follow the true path of the Ancient One. Ameen. Chuky7: A neighbor of mine not married stayed single has children out of wedlock I once asked him why he said his family believe that as far as you can take care of them no problem. he believes in going the unconventional way as marriage no too dey favor man. you pay bride price all bills are on you. you take care of your new family. but as a non married man his only concern are the kids and the baby mama.
What do you think of this lifestyle. I dey reason am.
It's not a death sentence for a child born out of wedlock nothing really changes just traditions you are conditioned to for no reason. |

Yes. You don't have to know the year or month or day or week. You may remember the experience. You may not remember.
I for one was not only born into a Christian fold, but faintly remember at a time did confession in my early primary school days.
Many of us do not know even when our lives were taken, and some are born-again without knowing, even just by singing songs that acknowledge the lordship of Jesus. When their hearts agree with proclamation of the songs (even though ignorant), they experience the new birth)

check this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/5833204/being-black-berlin-germanyOBUKOMENA: Good evening nairalanders! I hope you had a good day?
So, let me just go straight to my reason for opening this thread, and I hope I would be able to convey my thoughts impeccably:
It seems like some of our people who travelled to Germany aren't doing so well after all (I stand to be corrected, though!) I have a friend over there whom I am preparing to go meet. This guy has been there since 2017. He hardly calls me on normal call. He would rather call on WhatsApp. Reason being so that he could get in touch cheaply. The first and only time I asked him to send me something, he told me pointblank he didn't have. Just this afternoon, I heard a colleague's father just came back to Nigeria from there after 21 solid years! He had abandoned his wife and children here in Nigeria. If he was doing so well over there, would he not have arranged for his family to come over and stay with him - at least?
I have been worried, even before I heard this colleague's father thing: I don't know what I am going to meet at the friend's place; I don't know what life is like over there - how to cope in a non-English speaking environment. I don't know how long it's going to take me to make it over there and reconnect with my family. This news about my colleague's dad also increased my worries.
So, I decided I would come on here to ask: Aren't these red flags as regards traveling over there, especially with the hope that when i get there, after 2-3 years, I would bring in my family. Anyone here knows about life in Germany? |

Since the new recognized king is presiding over a small and a particular (odo oja) community out of the larger ikere Ekiti community , it is wrong for the new king to be bearing the title of Olukere of Ikere because that title automatically grant him power beyond his Odo-oja community.
