IncaGold:
you have become an authority on visa issues on nairaland cheesy No let me down, because i'll be sending lots of people your way (not privately, strictly on the forum). I'm very bored and the bart simpson in me wants to be unleashed. Wetin I go do?
Thanks for all the compliments and I will really appreciate it if you dont recommend me to anybody and for real I am not an authority when it comes to visa issues,I am also learning and thats why I am addicted to this forum! Its a good place to learn and keep coming back but a fool is prowling around andis making this forum uninteresting! grin grin

Vicjustice:
Cool.
So, Akyns, you're a dude, and from your correspondence, i can see you have a good sense of judgement; therefore, take everything i suggested into consideration in order to avoid the evitable, and go for the visa when you're better prepared. Remember my sayings: things are easier when done orderly
And if you need any further information or advice, feel free to lay your queries here or, (if you please), you may email me at vicjustice@hotmail.com.

No be them children and dependants dey some of the best and most expensive schools in UK?

Seems, you've been brain washed to believe you cannot get the visa.

Honestly, i like dealing with people who have a positive attitude to life especially regarding simple issues such as yours.

darren20:
Hi All,
I will be visiting Nigeria after 17years and i'm really scared!with all the news about armed robberies, corruption etc, though I've actually prepare myself, but I still need an advice from Nigerians on what to do,how to behave etc,First and foremost i'm not the type that offers bribe,I intend to finally relocate back home within the next 4yrs,and I'm on like fact finding mission as regard establishing an industry at home,I heard one must offer bribe to policemen even if you did not commit an offence, and that you might be locked up if you refuse,an example was a lagos state police commissioner in mufti, that was arrested and was about to be locked up for refusing to give bribe,I heard that even Efcc ask for bribe, and that the airport immigration etc are not spared.I've over the years realize that there's actually no place like home, but inthis current scenario, how can i keep myself? What do i do to protect myself even as the police are not reliable?
Please do advice?
Thanks.
Just make sure you work through your family that have been living in Nigera to be on the safe side.

There are days when you can't park on a certain side of the street for a couple of hours

You find your self spending all your life at work just to pay for a house you hardly live in

If you get stopped by the cops better not make any sudden movements or you might get shot 5o times

as soon as you get off the plane racism becomes a reality

Nigerian girls wont date you but as soon as they see you with a girl from another race they have a heart attack grin

when another Nigerian hears you speak with an accent to the subway or bus they ignore you like they are not from Nigeria

Nigerians warn each other to stay away from each other " awon omo olodu yen ma ko e si wahala"

People don't care about preserving the good names of their family

you are constantly ridiculed for looking to God but when the pope shows up in town everyone become a Christian

etc
Nigerians abroad can be funny at times,so I ignore them too when I see them angry angry, too much suspicions

Been there, know what it's like.

Only difference was, it was my mom in the coffin.
She was 46 when she died, in a car crash.
She looked so peaceful, not a mark on her. Almost like she was asleep.
I remember thinking, it was all a bad dream, and I'd wake up to see her as I always had.

Doctor said she must have died of shock, just before impact. cry
