Seen your thread dear. Very nice piece. You find me reach here? Thanks. I just say make I copy you. FCBboy: people still dey marry?
Nah Baby mama sure pass.
still wondering why guys would spend/borrow 6 figures to marry non-virgins...
Gentlemen, pls don't waste your precious money on non-virgins. Hope you realise that hell is real? Procreation isn't actually the main reason for marriage, but rather companionship. Children are just extra blessings and, if you must have them, try to start early. I doubt if I'll ever borrow to marry. Na to just pack well if I am required to do that; no, I am not buying anybody's daughter. Our life together is just starting and I won't want to start it in the red. Yeah, virgins are good and I'd prefer one. But that's not what matters most. What if a lady lost her virginity via rape for no fault of her's, so no man should pay her bride price? Forget the past and focus on the present person. lincsnuel: God forbid I marry a lady below my standard simply because of impatience. Don't worry I will wait.
I can't exchange the woman of my dreams for anything. And Allah willing, I won't settle for less! Your standard? I guess only you know what that is. The point I was driving at is that you shouldn't delay your life for an unreasonably demanding love interest. So, if a woman of your dreams wants you to first become a Dangote to measure up to the man of her dreams, you'd wait? Good luck, sire. |

Ecne: He's right actually, I know of a Case in hand, my Tenants. Bae left hubby with her daughter to her Mom's place, seeking divorce. After 7 months, Baba hammered, come see Bae coming to beg with Village pipu sha. Dude forgave sha, cos of his Angel (his daughter) But the fellow was said to be doing nothing at all in this case. So, that argument doesn't really hold water. It would have been a different case if he was seen to be trying to make things happen but met with little or no success. |
Romance › Marriage May Not Wait, Brothers! by U1(op): 10:17pm On Aug 27, 2019 |
'The economy is not smiling' or 'the economy is hard.' That's the kind of thing you'd often hear some single men say when asked why they aren't getting married despite advancing age. Now, that's a good reason not to get married – it might seem. I am realising more and more that you don't always have to wait until everything is perfect before tying the knot. If you have a regular source of income and have a lady who can accept you for who you are (and is probably making a little money as well), why delay? Starting a family is one of those things that one may say is time-sensitive, in a way. Which would make you better, having your first child at 28 or 38? Granted that God has a lot to say about fertility, you can never know until you are married. That's for those who desire to have children. God can make you a billionaire at 40 or 50, but you can't give birth to a 10-year or even a one-year-old in one day. Some things are best done at their right time. Some will also tell you that marriage can open doors of divine favours to you. Yes, this is somewhat dubitable. But there seems to be element of truth in it. Things might actually improve after you marry. Don't wait until everything is perfect before you make that bold move. You mustn't marry that beautiful lady that doesn't mind if you lose an arm or leg to make money before marrying her. Else, you may spend the rest of your life trying too hard to please her. This is just me thinking out loud, though. PS: You may read a lengthier post on this on the personal blog in my signature, if you have the time. Don't worry, the blog isn't monetised, so it's not like I'm trying to get cheap traffic – the blog is just a playground of sort. |

Blackivy27: its just the way i am believe it or not. I hate for a man to offer me cash. Even if its not his intention it makes me feel low. I can take care of myself i dont need a man to pull me up anytime i fall cause he wont always be there... so in our relationship as long as sex is off the table so is money. Goodnight. Don't worry, we can take sex off the table. |

eniorisha: How do you mean? Religious hypocrite!!! What probably influenced his or her reply was your username. Truth is: you may find it difficult attracting ladies if you are a traditional worshipper, as your name seems to suggest. That's by the way. From your original post, I can say we're almost the same. The only difference is that I don't feel rejected and I don't think I can allow something like this make me feel inferior. Na lack of money (a.k.a owo or ego) fit be problem. In that case, na me go just respect myself. Bro, please don't act needy. It makes you vulnerable to exploitation. Just try to keep improving yourself and grab every opportunity to mix with ladies. You may try meeting some online, if you are too shy to approach physically. If it's true that all ladies turn you down, the 'Christ' option the other poster mentioned is one you should seriously consider. Who knows? It might be something spiritual. Just saying. It might also just be that your financial situation isn't appealing to the ladies. You may want to cut your coat according to your cloth. My two cents. |

HumblySearching: So a lady with significant experience which could be out of serious relationships should tolerate bullshii? Is that what u saying? Not really. You mentioned something about experience out of serious relationships. What's 'serious' about a relationship that didn't or may not lead to marriage? You see why ladies shouldn't be giving away the booty to anyone under the guise of 'serious relationship'? |

Romance › Re: Women Are Not Property, They Are Humans by U1(m): 9:20am On Aug 22, 2019 |
DikeDiMighty: I was going through this section and I saw this thread where a guy was saying virginity is the best marriage gift to give a man.
https://www.nairaland.com/5152538/virginity-best-wedding-gift-man
My take on this is that, while a women keeping her virginity till marriage is all well and good(from the moral or religious standpoint), what about the man?. In this part of the world, men feel it is their right to demand lofty characteristics from women, characteristics which they themselves don't possess. If a woman should keep her virginity till marriage as a gift, then is it not only proper for the man to reciprocate?. Sadly, that is not the case. We view men losing their virginity long before marriage as a normal phenomenon, but if a woman does the same, she is slut-shamed and the act is tagged an fornication/abomination (even by men who, ironically, have slept with myriads of other girls).
Now, I am not preaching gender equality, because I don't even believe in that. But some things are just logical and fair. A man should also be willing to keep his virginity till marriage if he is expecting to marry a virgin wife. You can't be expecting to marry a virgin when you yourself are not one, what make you better that her then?, It is paining you that other men have slept with her,but you reason that it is cool for you to have slept with other women right?, What about the other women you slept with and even took their virginity?.
All these stem from the subconscious believe in Africa that women are the property of their husbands. I feel that is chauvinistic and only a step away from master-slave mentality. We need to change this mindset. A woman is as much her husband's property as her husband is her property.
That is my take. It's not right to consider a woman as a piece of property. Not at all! But then, you need to start by condemning the idea of bride price. The Westerners, whose view we tend to want to copy, don't have that. It may be easier to deal with this idea of seeing women as property if the man is not given the impression he is paying to buy a wife. A man is probably more likely to think, maybe subconsciously, that he's buying a wife when requested to pay a million or more, as is reportedly the case in some places, as bride price. Just what I think, though, and you are free to not agree. PS: You even be gay sef. So what were you saying? |

Nitah1: This bank is scamming customers somehow...... just wakeup one day and N450 disappeared from my account, remember is student account.
I was angry....got to bank only to be told is SMS charges, just last week it's happened again.
What SMS is that?
Answer me since you are their advocate? If the N450 charge was true, I'd say you didn't do enough to have it refunded. You can report them to the CBN, if you think you did enough to try and get your money back. Cost per SMS is N4, does it mean they sent you more that 100 SMSes in one month? No bank dare try that with me. As for those whom accounts were opened for without requesting, simply contact the bank to close those accounts, report to the CBN or sue it! It's simple, isn't it? Many Nigerians fail to take action when they need to, preferring to just make noise to themselves. This is one of the reasons evil seems to be on the rise in the country. But it's surprising to see some complaints about GTB, though. I opened my first bank account with this bank and the experience - overall - has been the best, compared to the others I have (had) accounts with. |

cdor777: Sold SeatCover.co for $999
Purchase Price: $0.99 (Epik .co promo)
Sales type: Inbound
Sales Venue: Afternic.com (BIN)
Hold time: 3 weeks
A short story about this domain name.
This domain name has been on my Wishlist for months after seeing various .co sales of $,$$$ by one Indian Guy on namepros.com.
Moreover, the .net version has previously sold for $3,500.
So, when Epic started their .co promo I registered 4 .co names, of which two were accepted by Squadhelp, seatcover.co inclusive. I had it listed for $1,700 on Squadhelp and $999 on Afternic
Three weeks later, I woke up to a congratulatory Email by Afternic. They asked for the authentication code, but, I replied to them that I will prefer a push that the name is just three weeks ago and as per ICANN rule I can't get an Auth Code.
One of the Afternic Transaction team replied me that he will let the buyer know and give me a feedback. So, Friday night I received another message that the buyer has agreed to take ownership of the domain name at Epik, as such I should push the domain name to their escrow account at Epik.
I pushed the name to the on Sunday morning and sent Afternic an email notification to that effect. So, on Monday morning they replied that the buyer has taken possession of the domain name and that my payment has been processed.
The money hit my GTB account yesterday at the rate of $356 per dollar.
More sales to all of us
#Grateful, #NeverGiveUp Wow!!! How do you guys do this thing! Congrats, bro. More sales. |

Gurus in the house, please I need your opinion on something. Yes, you're a guru even if you have just one sale above $200. I have some GEO names that Estibot and GoDaddy were showing different valuations for. The margins were also quite considerable. So, I am confused about which to go for or whether to even use an average considering the wide margin. I know these pricing bots aren't always precise or accurate about real values, but I don't know a better way of fixing prices. Let me cite an example so you can understand what I'm getting at better. I have the domain with the keywords 'Autobody Seattle' (in King). Estibot estimated the price at less than $100 while GoDaddy put same at about $1,000 (I can't remember the exact amount currently). Please what do you suggest I do in cases such as this? |
