How old is your wife? If she is young enough and with masters already, I think you should support her as the principal applicant for EE then add you and the kids. If she has a good masters grade, again support her PhD applications.
Thank you.

Study route is not that straightforward but not impossible. Most times, they require lots of convincing from applicant to show you will return after your studies. And given your size of family, you have to show you have the financial strength to support them and any other dependent in the course of your studies. I would say you should go ahead to secure admission first. You can then bother about the visa afterwards. Your wife could also seek admission. Especially in nursing profession or something related to what she has studied before. In that case, she will be the basis for spousal reunion for you and kids to join.

Like some people suggested on here, you and your spouse could look at the Provincial nomination route, if your skills are in demand. That is extra 600 points if you land one. So endeavour to read the PNP thread as you will get lots of information from people looking to explore that option like you.
Thank you

How old is your wife? She could be the principal applicant if she is younger. You should also simulate your CRS point using the CRS calculator. A quick google search would point you to that.

I have used CRS calculator for my wife and I and the results do not meet the present cutoff of 470+

Can I apply through study visa? For my masters in Canada? More importantly, can I get PR via study visa in Canada?

Lol. Get a master's degree and evaluate, max out ielts, max out TEF, evaluate your wife's master's, she maxes out ielts, all before you turn 42, then you have a chance if crs scores remain relatively constant. lol again

There are many other immigration paths though. PNP is the most likely of them

Your response is appreciated. Thanks.

Here is my concern. Doing a masters program and acing my IELTS still will not give me upto 450 points. I have used CRS calculator to permutate for this possibility.

Also, TEF is not an option for me, as I really do not have the time or ear to pick up French language for now.

What do you think about me applying for Study visa to Canada for A masters program. Can I get admission at my age, considering I've left university a long time ago? More importantly can I get PR for myself and family via this route?

You mentioned other means like provincial Nomination. How feasible is that? How do I go about it?

If money was not a problem, what other means would you recommend?

Your response is valued and appreciated.

Hello house I am a 39 year old man with a family of 5 including myself. I have a Bachelors degree, no Masters or PhD. I also do not speak French. I have a thriving business and sufficient work experience.

With this information, I saw that my chances for express entry to Canada are very slim. Except if there's a way, I'm open to suggestions.

I want to know my chances of getting PR through doing a masters program for myself and my family. My wife has a Masters degree by the way.

Please your responses are eagerly anticipated and highly valued. Thanks.

Good day fellow investors ,I am an ardent follower of treasury bills thread here though I hardly but I must confess this thread has been of great contribution to my financial life. But it is a pity that the investment option is no longer viable and obvious the government wants us to go into physical business to create jobs.Though not minding I have decided to go into a business that am very convinced of its viability which details I don't want to go into here. The business requires about 4 million naira to start and I will be able to raise 2 million naira on my own.I need someone that can provide me with a loan of 2 million naira for 2 years with a maximum interest of 20%.Please this is a genuine call with my integrity fully committed.I am ready to provide such person with whatever collateral that might be required.my digit zero eight one six six zero five nine five two zero

2. More are coming

Hmmmm. For these terrible roads?

Hello dear nairalanders.

Please I'm going through a state of mental confusion.

Currently i have approximately 20 million and 300 thousand naira in my bank account.

I have two thoughts.

1) I am 25 years old but I'm not a university graduate, i only have ND (National deploma) from a polytechnic In Edo state, Auchi precisely.

I would have become a graduate years ago but after my "ND" years ago, i refused to go back to school and i decided to hustle for money.

Most of my classmates in school back then are all graduates but all the same, looking at my bank account now, i have no regrets.

So this is what i plan on doing.

1) Can i further my Education In any university in the United States with the money and plan on staying back after my degree, for the fact that I'm 25.
Will that be advisable?

2) should i stay back in Nigeria and use part of the money to build a house In my hometown in Benin and use the rest for business?

3) Is there a chance of going to USA and start all over again, look for job.
Will the money be enough to rent a house, foot some bills untill i see a job in the USA.

Note i choose USA only because it's my dream country, I'm not scared of the traveling ban because I'm 100% confident that it will be taken away few months from now.

Please i won't be replying any mention or questions.

All i want is to take note of good advice.

I already know a reliable traveling agent.

Please other suggestions are welcomed apart from mine.

Please help

Bros abeg wetin you do wey give you that kind money at 25? Abeg me Wan know how to direct

I am anticipating your response ọ. If you want me to drop my contact, I can.

My Brother, I will confidently tell you that if you Hate " The Lords Chosen " Then you need Deliverance..

For your own sake, Seek GENUIE Deliverance..

No Person who has a Hunger for GOD ALMIGHTY Genuinely that will hate the The Chosen. Even if you don't attend the Church..

Typical! You don't have a rebuttal, only an attack on my person.

By your fruit we have recognized you. If this is the fruit Lord's chosen produces, it's no wonder you just proved my point.

If Hunger for the Undiluted WORD of GOD is your Need. Visit the The Lords Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement...
Some one told you he left a religious cult and you are recommending another man led religion. Lazarus Mouka and his crusaders are the last thing I would recommend to anyone seeking for a Bible study group.

After seeing how Uche Ogbuagu easily deflected to APC for his own selfish reason then I 've come to conclusion that Biafra is not the solution my brother... Nigerians 're the problems.. Every Nigerian is systematically corrupt in one way or the other
Biafra is not a 100% solution to all our problems, I agree. But it is at least a solution. With the restoration of Biafra, we can at least have a concensus on the structure of the new nation. Our voices can be captured in the constitution.
It definitely will not be an overnight success. It will be a process.
If not Biafra, what is the solution my brother?
A country shared with people who value cattle than their fellow man? I don't think so.

As for Uche Ogbuagu, I am not surprised in the least. He is a human in power, and power can corrupt any man no matter how noble they may be. This is the reason we shouldn't trust in humans. In Developed societies, emphasis is placed on institutions than on individuals. This is because humans can easily be corrupted. It takes more effort for institutions with laid out laws and precepts to be corrupted.
With the restoration of Biafra we can have the opportunity to build strong institutions that will help in Human capacity building as well as nation building.

Like I said, Biafra will not be 100% perfect, nothing is 100% perfect. But believe me it will be better than a nation ruled by Alamajiris.

Nwannem many people don't want to leave their country, but it is because they leave in a zoo called Nigeria, with no hope for their children that's why people want to leave.

I hope that this ban will accelerate the clamor and subsequent birth of Biafra.

I do not see what all the cries is about. So no more immigrant visas. So what. We closed our borders too and many of those poor west Africans are crying and we laughed at them. Now a richer nation is giving us a little bit of the same medicine and we are crying foul. What hypocrisy

The ban should please be extended to all categories of Visas. A total ban pls. Maybe only then can we become creative and focus our bright minds domestically to grow. It would take something like this for us to rediscover our doomed path

As for the Americans they are doing what they feel is good to protect themselves. However just like them, we can equally withdraw critical cooperation and show that even though we are small we have some leverage. You do not beg a super nation. You force them to appreciate you. There is a reason Trump won't ban Saudi Arabia, Russia, China and others. Saudi Arabia is particularly guilty of a number of terrorist activities against the Americans but they arent considered in the ban cos of the critical importance they are to them

In the same way we can start by looking at key areas of critical value to the Americans and pull out. Watch how they would quickly rush back to negotiate. You simply don't beg. You show balls
I feel like knocking you.
Which critical value possessions can Nigeria withhold from America?
Before you begin to talk like a naive child, use your brain.

If you think we can make it difficult for American oil companies in Nigeria, then you are joking and that would be the beginning of the end of Nigeria. Because when they hit you with sanctions, Iran's situation will look like heaven when compared to Nigerias'.

Nigeria has nothing to negotiate with. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you wake up from your delusion. Nigeria has no leverage or bargaining chip to perturb the US. This is the fact. Nigeria is dead and gone. Only the disintegration of this hell hole may birth something with the semblance of a nation.

You just dey speak grammar. To impress who? Eloquence is no measure of wisdom. Better get informed.

If you want to live with a woman so bad, do the right thing. Marry her. Even if na one keg of palmwine you give her family and pay her bride price, them go accept.

You are living a destructive life. That should be your concern not even that your gf is cheating.
