So is it a bad thing for people to attempt to get along? I'm a bit confused with what you're saying...

Also coloured people are not just black and white. I have more malay than I have white or black. I also have more khoisan than I have white or black.

Im really confused by the point that you are making. it's almost like you're trying to say that South Africans are not "pure" or "African" enough because we mix with other races in our country... Leave us be please, it doesn't bother us that we get along or attempt to get along. As long as we get along in our own country (and not run to others because we can't seem to find it in ourselves to try to get along), I don't see why you would have a problem with it.
Tell that to years of apartheid and domination by your white Lords.

I deduce that you are a colored. Going by your history of segregation and insulation from the rest of the populace in South Africa, you've understandably suffered a lot of trauma. It is no wonder your flats and settlements are riddled with violent gangs with a penchant for rape and other abominables.

Khoisans are Africans. No thanks to you, you have almost outbreed them. You have endangered and almost destroyed their cultural heritage.

The land belongs to the blacks, and what your white masters have created is revulsing. I can understand that you are a victim of circumstance, but don't open your mouth to Say you are African. You may be in the text of the word, but not in the true essence of it.

The land you call south Africa is black. Khoisans are black too with their distinct unique features.

The people I pity are the black, small statured, laid back slobs deluding themselves that they still own the land.
CrimeRe: South Africa Beach Lovers Protest Lockdown - Police Arrest Them (photos) by ucham: 11:28pm On May 15, 2020
What a funny world. The white man really did destroy South Africa. First they depleted the black population, next they bred a race they call colored in an attempt to outbreed the black owners. This paradox is bewildering. So basically, let me get this straight, a biracial person in South Africa who identifies as black in the North America and Europe the home of your colonial Lords and conquerors is called colored in South Africa? Now, isn't that some fvcked up shit.

The white man really did you guys bad. No racial homogeny, different language, different demographics, different cultures.

Without a hint of ridicule, it would be an aberration to call South Africa a black country, or a truly African country. Heck! Even they named it a rainbow nation. The more black people marry whites and colored in South Africa, the more they outbreed themselves into this melting pot of racial confusion.

I know the white devil did the continent as a whole evil, and for that we remain indignant. But at least here, and by here I mean the rest of Africa, we know where we come from, we know what we look like, we aren't on a mission towards racial suicide. I guess there's a silver lining behind it all after all.

It is a white elephant project.

Entrepreneurs create jobs not students.

Igbo businesses will not move. The town does not have the population to support buying and selling businesses.

Skilled labor generated is meaningless without industries to work in. But without industries , what skilled labor will the vocational schools be teaching?

You cannot teach for non existent industries.

Umahi is a failure. Just like all past and current sitting state governors. No difference.
My brother I get your concerns. But as you know Rome was not built in a day. This is the first time Ebonyi state is having a governor that has really worked since its creation in 1996.

No governor in the whole of Nigeria since democracy has accomplished half of what Umahi has accomplished with his state's minimal allocation from the FG.

You need to see the face of ebonyi. There are quality roads everywhere. Ultra modern road networks and fly overs. Meanwhile onye ikpeazụ is struggling to build one for 5 years in Abia state.

Ebonyi are building an airport. Wow. If we see good make we talk am o. I know Umahi has his flaws, but he's the best thing in Igboland since Peter Obi and Sullivan Chime.

Umahi is an Engineer. Let him fix the infrastructure like he has done. The next governor should probably be an economist or sociologist. Ebonyi will get there.

I never imagined in my life that I will in my life time see an Ebonyi state like this.

Once again, I get your point, but let's be patient we are on the right track. My prayer is for Abia state to have its revolutionist.

Ala Igbo ga adị mma.

My question is; with 78% poverty index in Ebonyi....... Who are/is gonna patronise this mall?
No its not a white Elephant project. Many Igbo businesses will move there, and some of our igbos from different parts will definitely be moving to live in Abakiliki.

Also don't forget that Ebonyi has a federal university from which many of her children are graduating and creating jobs. Plus the vocational schools will generate skilled labor.

The OP of this post is intellectually dishonest. Using loaded language and sleight of hand tactics in phrasing his phony questions. He is not looking for a healthy debate, he wants his childish gotcha! moment. His antics reeks of the cunning of the biblical serpent.

How can you talk about a Monotheistic God and refuse to mention the specific one? The Onus lies on the OP to prove to us that his God is true while Buddha, Allah, Shinto and other deities are false.

YHWH says the only way to salvation is through Yeshua (Jesus), Allah says without publicly accepting Mohammed as God's prophet and means for salvation, you cannot be saved. Buddha has his own requirements for spirituality and enlightenment.

So which God is the right one? Which God are we talking about?

Both God's cannot both be true.

Engaging in a debate with the OP is meaningless. I am not an atheist, but even I am filled with disgust for the way he argues like a child looking for dashboard points.

Getting married does not guarantee a 100% safety. If one of the partner gets infected thru the various ways available (wrongly or innocently), the other partner is at risk.

What would you say about Health Care Workers who got infected from patients in the line of diligently discharging their duties? D'you want 'em to blame God?
Your partner will not get infected if they sterilize their clippers or hair braiding tools.
97% of people who contract hiv get it from sex and blood transfusions.

By the way, hiv is not the only deadly disease. There's a plethora of STDs killing and destroying people today.

The best thing is to get married and remain faithful.

This is the price you pay for fornication. We now live in a world where virgins are mocked, shamed and humiliated for maintaining their dignity.

It may sound harsh, but I have no sympathy for any one who willingly consents to fornication or adultery. You enjoyed the few minutes gratification , now face the music of your life time.

Since bad has become good, una go hear am.

a virgin boy that dont know where the vagina is located cheesy
What a naive and ignorant thing to say. Sometimes when I read comments like these, it makes me wonder how some people think.

Our forefathers and their wives were virgins. Who taught them to have sex and produce children? Is it you? Or you think the depravity in today's world mean you were better at sex than they were? Our forefathers were farmers and had the stamina of a 10,000 km long distance runner. Or you think this our generation with potbellied men everywhere who are so lazy to exercise are better? I laugh. It's no wonder more men are dying from all sorts of concoctions in the name of aphrodisiacs.
People should learn to use their brains when they type.

When people get married as virgins with mates whom they love, they have a lifetime to learn and do all they want about sex.
The so called experienced guys today got experienced because they are having sex. Married couples will have experience when they start having sex too.

By the way, you are not wiser than God who warns against premarital sex. In all religions premarital sex is sinful. I don't care if you are not religious, even natural laws forbid it as you can see with the proliferation of STD's

When our mothers gave birth to us, we did not need experience or Google map to locate their breast. Neither did we need a manual to learn how to suck from it.

Stop using this experience line as an excuse for promiscuity.

A virgin man deserves a virgin woman

A promiscuous man deserves a promiscuous woman.

Each gender should learn self control and delayed gratification.

This OP has ulterior motives for posting pictures Like this. Lagos and Abuja has Areas like this too. Where people live in slums with brown roofs too.

The difference between South/East vs the west is that while there are pockets of old small towns and old brown roofing sheets, the west literally has a Sea of brown roofs as in Ibadan.

I am from the East, and PH and Rivers state is a sister state. I have been to PH and it has beautiful areas and landscapes.

The moderators should call this OP who is obviously Yoruba as her name shows to order from ridiculing Rivers state and PH the garden city.

well applying for two different visa categories is called DUAL INTENT. However, I won't advise you to do that. Canadian immigration encourages applicants applying for temporary and permanent visa categories but from a Nigerian perspective and difficulty in getting visa approvals I believe sticking to one category is advisable going forward.

Hello,
You are right judging by your age coming over to Canada via express entry night be a little difficult but not impossible. however, there is a silver lining. my best advice for you is to;
1. Assuming you have a high CGPA from your undergraduate degree and sufficient work experience let us say 5-10yrs you can apply for a SPECIALISED MASTERS PROGRAM.
2. do not apply with your family use them as a prime home tie to justify your apparent return to Nigeria after your study program.
3, when you get to Canada by God's grace after let us say a semester apply for your wife ONLY to come over on visiting visa to spend time with you.
4. when she gets in you then have to decide if you will convert that visiting visa to an open work permit.
5, if you are lucky to scale through remember your wife as an MSc degree so she can easily write English exams in Canada and apply for express entry including you in the application.

the process is tedious but if you are motivated, get the right guidance, a little bit of luck and last but not the least Gods blessing then it is possible. i have also included a snapshot of the financial requirement when bringing your family in the long run.
Thank you response. But can I apply for say, Atlantic Inland Nomination Program, Express entry and Study visa, all three at the same time so that I can increase my chances of getting one?

Study route is not that straightforward but not impossible. Most times, they require lots of convincing from applicant to show you will return after your studies. And given your size of family, you have to show you have the financial strength to support them and any other dependent in the course of your studies. I would say you should go ahead to secure admission first. You can then bother about the visa afterwards. Your wife could also seek admission. Especially in nursing profession or something related to what she has studied before. In that case, she will be the basis for spousal reunion for you and kids to join.

Like some people suggested on here, you and your spouse could look at the Provincial nomination route, if your skills are in demand. That is extra 600 points if you land one. So endeavour to read the PNP thread as you will get lots of information from people looking to explore that option like you.
Thank you

How old is your wife? She could be the principal applicant if she is younger. You should also simulate your CRS point using the CRS calculator. A quick google search would point you to that.
I have used CRS calculator for my wife and I and the results do not meet the present cutoff of 470+

Can I apply through study visa? For my masters in Canada? More importantly, can I get PR via study visa in Canada?

Lol. Get a master's degree and evaluate, max out ielts, max out TEF, evaluate your wife's master's, she maxes out ielts, all before you turn 42, then you have a chance if crs scores remain relatively constant. lol again

There are many other immigration paths though. PNP is the most likely of them
Your response is appreciated. Thanks.

Here is my concern. Doing a masters program and acing my IELTS still will not give me upto 450 points. I have used CRS calculator to permutate for this possibility.

Also, TEF is not an option for me, as I really do not have the time or ear to pick up French language for now.

What do you think about me applying for Study visa to Canada for A masters program. Can I get admission at my age, considering I've left university a long time ago? More importantly can I get PR for myself and family via this route?

You mentioned other means like provincial Nomination. How feasible is that? How do I go about it?

If money was not a problem, what other means would you recommend?

Your response is valued and appreciated.

With this information, I saw that my chances for express entry to Canada are very slim. Except if there's a way, I'm open to suggestions.

I want to know my chances of getting PR through doing a masters program for myself and my family. My wife has a Masters degree by the way.
