@uchetobi
If a record label that prides itsef to be the best in Nigeria cannot produce more than three quality albums in one year, then I wonder what our music industry is turning into. You just helped me emphasize the point that them lot (Eedris and Tony) are not talented artises. As Ruggedman said 'fake hype, fake promo', apart from Tuface and Olu, which other talented artiste is on the label? The rest of them have been neglected for not being the geese that lay golden eggs. They were just lucky to have Olu and Tuface, I just pity Soud Sultan for making the mistake of holdin on. Thank goodness that artistes that have held their own like Rugged and P-square are sucessful enough to prove them wrong.
Well 3 good albums in a year is nt a bad deal in my humble opinion. Then a sper d fake hype thingy, its everywhere, we all knw d likes of Britney, J.Lo and some few others culd not sing 2 save their lives but dis are very popular and successful artiste, if its d sexiness, or d ability 2 entertain or wateva dat can be hyped in an artiste den y not, it takes a gd producer, a gd manager, to hype d un-hypable.

For real I don’t like d gentlemen in question d trio of Keke, ID and D1 but we have to call a spade a spade dese guys have made significant impact in d music industry in Nigeria.

, if 2-2 is having stress whats the hope of a 3rd class graduate, how do you remedy the bad grade?nairalanders, please answer this questions, without deviating from the original one, thanks
4 real Zenith bank takes 3rd class, even oceanic and most banks. As per ur question i don’t know how 3rd class can be remedied, il only advice those still in skl to take their studies seriously, try to make a 2.1 at least so u are not limited in any way and for those that have it, don’t be discouraged with God all things are possible, write professional courses like ICAN, ACCA etc to boost ur CV, or maybe PGD and masters. If u are still young u can go back 4a second degree.

And in the process of calling a spade a spade most of d peeps dat left Kennis like idris, tony, how well have dey fared on their own
Music/RadioRe: Keke Ogungbe: Of Kennis Music And Primetime Africa Fame by uchetobi(f): 9:47am On Jan 04, 2008
Wow, all dis beef for Keke. Well I don’t exactly like him cuz of his dry jokes and his unnecessary boasting when he was doing AIT jambz, but when people start complaining about how Kennis music reap people off, I like to draw a line dere.

First of all no body forced any artiste to sign up to kennis music, besides if a record label can offer u 500,000 and Kennis can offer u a million, it’s a win win situation, even if they made 5 million of u, u are still getting more dan d 500k u’d have gotten with say storm records.

Lets give it up 2 dem, they knw how 2 hype their artiste, I doubt 2face culd have gotten dis much rave if not 4 dem. So when it comes 2 doing their job which is producing and promoting I give Kennis and Keke a 100%

Fashion/Clothing MarketRe: Prices Of Clothes In Nigeria by uchetobi(f): 8:56am On Jan 04, 2008
Well as per the price of clothes in Nigeria, (I can only speak for female) a good top goes within the range of 3,0000 to 5,000 in all the shops ii buy my clothes (indigo, talk 2 me, collectibles, oxygene) with indigo being the cheapest. Then skirts goes for bout 4,000 to 5,000 (iv never understood the logic behind skirts being more expensive than pants).

SO gd luck with ur boutique planning. If I can get good quality clothes at cheaper prices with u den il welcome u with open hands

if u are still in skl il advice u to study hard make a 2.1 so u'l stand a chance into getting into these big consulting firms. believe me its a ball to work for them, the work is hard nno doubt and very challenging but its a knowledge driven environment and u become a very knowledgeable person vast in a l fields, plus it looks good on the CV if u decide to move. lawyerchap:
competition is really hotting up. Omotola, gone! Wow. Next to walk the plank should be Pasuma. Entertaining, yes, but it's a dance contest, not a comedy show. We need to now vote for the true dancers to win this thing. My money is on Omowunmi Akinnifesi; she's shown great courage in attempting some of the most difficult (not to mention risky) dance moves i've ever seen, plus she's got great control and seems to be a natural born dancer. But then, she's a unilag babe, did we really expect any less?

I know this isn't current news but Funlola's dance with the mattress and pillows was simply unbelievable. I was beside myself when they finished. Even the judges gave them a standing ovation. It was pure art in motion. Simply brilliant. But i suspect that Funlola uses her concepts to hoodwink us into not paying attention to her dancing itself. We're so taken up with the idea behind her routines that we forget to check if she's dancing properly. She's a real drama queen, literally speaking.
I concur
