PhysicsQED: Do you actually believe this or are you just trying to be funny?back up your own assertion too. .. .Ekiti State is referred to as “The Fountain of Knowledge” due to many illustrious high-level intellectuals that trace their ancestral roots from the State. In fact, Ekiti State is reputed to have produced the highest number of Professors in Nigeria. Several pioneer scholars in Nigeria including Professors Adegoke Olubummo(1st Nigeria Professor in the field of Mathematics), Adeyinka Adeyemi (1st Professor of Architecture in West Africa), JF Ade-Ajayi, Niyi Osundare, Sam Aluko, Bolaji Aluko, Peter Bodurin all hail from the States. And match any so called south south states with names mentioned above, prefarebly your Edo state |
Clan wars already .Nigeria is still alive niyen oo by the time you get what you want 'gbogbo iya ni'.tamara ma ta (sell) ikenna, tekena ma te(match)Okorie paa ![]() |
Ekiti has got the right to define what its priority should be.Hopefully more details will become available,Samsung is no joke.Rwanda is a testimony to what Technology can do to a barren land(Ekiti definitely isn't barren). |
aribisala0: Fail to see the attraction or business case for Ekiti?Write to the Ekiti state government if you are really interested in the business case,by the way this is a government initiative and value for money comes before profiteering for most public services. |
I am still seriously looking for these Investment banks in Nigeria because the form and structure of financial activities and big transactions in the economy,(new businesses, acquisitions, big project funding) do not reflect the presence of this form of banking in our country or are you referring to stock broking. Most of the above mentioned transactions are carried out by foreign investors using their special purpose entities. If they do exist, then I think their impact is minimal( too many big, viable projects in Nigeria waiting for injection of new ideas and funding) ![]() |
Billyonaire: INEC guidelines clearly states that all Political parties should conduct primaries that will produce their flag bearer. It is that same INEC guideline that I want ACN to obey and not allow a drug baron that has siphoned the welfare of all Lagosians into his personal enterprise run lagos as an ugly mafiosa. Obey INEC and let the best candidate of ACN contest against other parties and let the best man win. I want a piece of the pieThis reminds me of one 'egbon Razist' who straddled NL with the fresh air message.Hate for Tinubu could easily blow up one's cover,it must be really deep-seated ![]() |
Until the salary and other 'laulau' benefits people like her enjoy reflect our lean resources Nigerians will never grasp her unverifiable assertion. |
wakagirl: Please i need to know if someone with poor maths background can study Accounting, its a matured student and on part time basis. You can do it if you have the passion though a good maths background will help you in some areas like performance management and/or financial management but Accountancy has moved greatly from traditional book keeping/management accounting jargon to financial reporting(knowing Gaap/Igaap and and interpretation in fact I usually tell people that there's now a fine line between Accountancy and Law( am not looking at taxation alone).Interpretation of financial reports have taken central role hence comparing accountancy to law makes more sense. |
She's an inspiration.I slobber at the feet of so much common sense ![]() Sometimes i wonder what your ages are, seriously. ![]() |
Some of us know that this 'unusury' model is seriously flawed and is basically being propped up by the West cos of its lust for Arabian oil windfall and wealth from the gulf. For Islamic banking to take root it would have to create its own infrastructures(businesses, deals, politics, culture),it won't survive leveraging the system built on or by usury. Its a lesson for people who typically switch of their reasoning process whenever issues bordering on religion is tabled. |
Is he finally waking up? I am yet to conclude. It's in the interest of our country anyway. Ile-sha is where gei-sha is made, the fish is from the dam in question. Lol! |

Comparing a scrap yard to a grocery shop come on!seriously? Come on! I have been there and the only unnecessary chaos I saw was outside of the main hall but when I got into the warehouse I saw people with who used desks as partition e.t.c and the usual mess expected from a scrap yard. Despite feeling cheated once, I have not stopped appreciating the can -do,hard working spirit of some of the guys I saw there, then (2002) A lot of us are sceptical about the future of Nigeria but the negativity of some is just shocking. Even if you had a very hard life in the country before you had a miraculous exit, take it easy |
In the almost two decades that followed, I have moulded all educational and professional decisions into the form of a road that would lead me back to Africa.
Whoa!she's been copying me lol but It's almost crunch time and there's this uncertainty staring me in the face but surely there's no time to look back or change course. Seriously inspiring write up. |

Its not worthy of the front page because its becoming boring. |
AjanleKoko: If I was Dangote, I would go for SSCE holders, and not graduates. You laid it down like a serious employer. Why should I employ people who see my job offer as a stepping stone or a stop gap measure.I think this whole graduate driver thing is just a ploy by Dangote to either be in the news or kiss up to the public,it further questions his business acumen. ![]() |
Ope o! ![]() |
crackhouse: my dear u are too blessed to be a driver. Don't allow the devil to deceive u, cos that's not God's plan for u, and stop rejoicing over it, o.k. U may not understand me.I get your point though, its quite depressing after all the hard work, induced by faith in a fruitful future you then end up in such a scheme but that's life. |
crackhouse: my dear u are too blessed to be a driver. Don't allow the devil to deceive u, cos that's not God's plan for u, and stop rejoicing over it, o.k. U may not understand me.You made me laugh very loud on the train, seriously ![]() Too blessed to be a truck driver? Holy Moses! Lol ![]() |

danjohn: Jonathan did not win in Gombe State. Buhari won 60% and Jonathan won 38%. From anecdotal evidence, I hear that Adamawa is almost 48% Christian. GEJ supposed to win a state like Adamawa. Thanks for the Gombe correction. The political structure in Adamawa definitely does not reflect '48% Christianity'. |
jmaine: How did the bolded part make any sense to you . .or even remotely support your Tinubu - GEJ election exchange tripeWell it makes sense to me cos i dont have a laptop assigned to me,you get me? ![]() No political capital, not compelling = needed help from Tinubu About being quiet, OK. |
jmaine: Hilarious . .it will do you much good to always keep quiet . . .I don't have time for long winded faffs, am still very young and busy but 1 pdp is a bad brand where i come from and 2 Jonathan never had any political capital and was never a compelling candidate hence his win (especially in Lagos and Ekiti)was a free pass,no need for any soggy guber. or presidential analysis. |
ikpoba_1: THERE ARE ONLY TWO NATIONAL POLITICAL PARTIES IN NIGERIA: THEY ARE ANPP AND PDP. OTHERS ARE TRIBAL/ETHNIC ASSOCIATIONS AND CANNOT HOLD IN MODERN NIGERIA. IS IT CPC? APGA? ACN? OR WHAT? IN OTHER DEVELOPED COUNTRY, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE YORUBA PARTY, IBO PARTY OR HOUSA PARTY. EVERY PARTY IS UNIFYING. YOU GUYS SHOULD WAKE UPComparing cpc or apga with Acn |
sbeezy8: GEJ in exchange to who? Ribadu/ Buhari? ![]() Let me try,I mean Jonathan had to play ball with Tinubu for the soft landing he got in Lagos and other SW states.Ribadu could not have won the presidency that's why they tried leveraging on Buharis popularity in the north to help him but that didnt work. |
