Mickykarim:The Pentateuch (Tora) is not just about Moses, they were actually written by Moses himself. So how did Moses write about things that happened even after his own death? |
The first five books of the Bible, including Deautoronomy, were written by Moses. Chapter 34 describes the death and burial of Moses. Now the question is, how did Moses write about his death, burial and some other events that preceded his death? Deuteronomy 34 King James Version 34 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan, 2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, 3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar. 4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. 7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. 8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, 12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel. |
Subtle campaign. I like people who stand by what they believe. That's why I like Obidients; although they are not paid, they outnumber paid APC and PDP supporters combined. |
Victorblaze14:With the level of inflation now, I wonder what 20k can do for anyone. I wonder whether we can pay bus conductor with transfer. Imagine buying different things from different market women and paying all of them with transfer |
I don't want to write long episode, but we should just understand that this policy is counter productive. While will I want to deposit cash at the bank when I know I won't be able to withdraw it at will? This will be the new reality -- hoarding cash. The person that created a frontpage thread yesterday saying that the policy will benefit POS operators has never done POS before. Many POS operators will close shop very soon because you cannot meet up. While running a POS stand I had 15 ATM cards yet it wasn't enough at 200k limit per day for each card. Modified: Let me make a little clarification. Why 200k/day per card withdrawal is not a big deal is because most Mastercard has 1miliin POS limit per day. So you can withdraw 200k at the ATM and 1 million at the POS. But limiting both POS and ATM to 20k, have you wandered how you'll be able to pay for your groceries at the mall and for your fuel at the station? You won't be able to pay for things online with your card as well. Transfer is good for scammers. We will have no option than to adopt mobile transfer. Now the problem is, many banks limit their mobile transfer to 200k because of fraud. Now they will have to throw caution to the wind and give yahoo boys a field day by increasing their transfer limit. Secondly, when you do transfer you have to wait till your recipient sees alert which might take eternity sometimes. What about fake alert? What about rural dwellers that battle bad network or do not have the capacity to use USSD? |
Time to have a taste of Niger Delta dilemma for decades... |
lanrexdo:Last price? |
lanrexdo:Can it go for 700? |
Incredible128:I reset both phones but the problem persist |
idnobleg:Many things changed after the primaries. You know very well that Wike is currently more popular than Atiku |
Advise to Wike: Power is fluid. It's your turn to flex it. You're the most powerful and popular politician in Nigeria today. You are more powerful than even your party. Use this brief opportunity wisely. I commend you for using this your unlimited power to build bridges so far, so whoever emerges the president next year, all things being equal, you're safe. (Atiku is out of the context currently unless Kwankwaso decide to step down for him; that won't still bring him to the first two anyways). But whatever you do, remembered that power is transient. Remember Fayose. Remember Rochas. While you pursue your right, do not despise any of Atiku's men because tomorrow get belle |
Around this time last year I bought Infinix Hot 10T. As customary I always install every update till early this month. After the last update my phone started misbehaving. I could no longer access most websites and many apps. All my bank apps stopped working including Truecaller and TikTok. Facebook and Whatsapp were working fine. I did all I could, but no show. I went to MTN to complain they said my SIM was fine. I reset my network, no show. I reset my phone to factory setting, no way. If I insert my SIM in another phone it will work fine. If I insert another SIM in my phone it will work fine. But my own SIMs inside my own phone, no way. Not just one SIM but two (both SIMs are MTN). I was frustrated so I bought Infinix note 12. Everything was going fine till I updated it too and the problem with the previous one resurfaced. Note that the Hot 10T is android 11 while the note 12 is android 12. The only difference is that sometimes the note 12 will allow me to browse for like 30 minutes in a day or two. I decided to try out something; I retrieved my SIM card to know if it's about the SIM hardware, still no show. Then I bought an entirely new SIM and a different network and it's working fine now. Has anyone experienced the same thing? What could be the solution because I still have more than 20gb in the replaced SIM? Will I ever update my phone again? |
Ogbuefi2020:Not really, but to new political thieves |
A very long read but it's worthwhile. Now to the issue: I'm happy for the girl for being united with her biological parents. The joy in her face and that of her biological parents can only be imagined. As for the foster parents, I do not condemn them; they may have acted out of desperation or ignorance or both. As for the doctor and all the nurses involved in this scandal, they all deserve long jail time because they know for real what ought to be done but dubiously choosed to do otherwise |
Both Obi and Osibanjo are orators. Both of them are also politicians. Buhari made more promises than Obi, but where are we now? Where is the breath of fresh air Jonathan promised after 6 years? There has never been any significant progress in Nigeria since 1960 by any successive government. Obi's presidency will only redistribute wealth but will not bring any significant changes to the nation's polity. |
DanielAlhassan:I rest my case |
DanielAlhassan:I can only imagine how foolish I looked when I use to be like you |
DanielAlhassan:Imagine being freed from kirikiri and someone asks you to go back there |
Stanleyq:Lol! I don't smoke, I don't do drugs |
Stanleyq:I no longer talk about my believe in public Because 99% of people are foolish; I don't like unnecessary argument. As for what prompted my change of believe, I can assure you, the day you decide to use your head to think, you will hate everything you knew all along. Using your head is not hard. Just look around you and ask pertinent questions. For instance, since you've been praying, can you sincerely point at anything tangible and say "I achieved this through prayer"? Is there really any advantage "believers" have over "non believers"?. Sentimentally, yes. Realistically, no. The difference between your religion and your head is the difference between dream and reality. But don't bother about using your head, when you die you'll get your reward. |
DanielAlhassan:Lol! I remember when I was like you |
Truthday:Do you wake up everyday with the desire to kill? Do you wake up everyday with the desire to steal? The desire to have sex is a natural desire; it is biological. And yes, no human being has 100% control over sexual desire. But can you say same about the desire to kill? Have you killed before? |
MissLAP:You have erection even while sleeping, bro. It has nothing to do with lust |
Stanleyq:I was born and brought up a Christian. I was a dedicated and zealous Christian for many decades. I sacrificed a lot, including my dreams, for Christianity. But guess what, I now know better |
Stanleyq:So at your age you still believe that the chaos in the world was caused by an apple eaten by one man some 6000 years ago? |
Dtruthspeaker:If Adam was perfect at the beginning, and because he sinned we became imperfect and sinners, and Jesus shed his blood as ransom for the Adamic sin, we the offspring should also be devoid of sin because that which was responsible for our sins has been atoned for. We were supposed to be perfect if Adam didn't sin. But his his sin ushered us into imperfection and sin so Jesus' ransom sacrifice should have atoned for the sin and make us sinless. After all we were not born yet when Adam sinned neither were we there when Jesus died |
Dtruthspeaker:So what exactly did the blood of Jesus do? |
If God wanted us to have sex only after marriage, He would have given us the urge for sex only after marriage the same way he gives women breast milk only when they give birth. Don't let anyone guilt trip you, sex is the same way you satisfy your hunger for food and thirst for water |
OP, have you stopped being a sinner? It's funny that someone just came from nowhere and told us that our actions are called "sin", we need a "Jesus" in our life so that, not that we would stop sinning, but our sins would be justified. If the sin of Adam made us sinners, why don't the ransom of Jesus make us all sinless? |
Enemies of progress everywhere. Small chow wey we dey manage for dream you wan come put sand sand |
