Let me even educate you a little. Are you aware Ize-Iyamu has far less financial support than he did 4 years ago? Oshiomole's sacking and the way Obaseki was forced out of APC has created more problems than he could envisaged when he joined the party again (argue this at your peril). His eyes done clear, APC is divided from the national to the state level. His candidature and the process leading to it is still in doubt, as such he seem like a gamble no one is willing to take on. The man is finding it tougher than when he contested under PDP, yet that's the party you underrated in your analysis. Have taken my time to educate this op on his several trends and posts against Governor Obaseki but he will not listen. Election is not won my online trends, posts or wailing, it's on ground you will election. In several of my posts, I mentioned I went round many parts of Benin City on Monday, I mean different people in the society, almost all are supporting Governor Obaseki, some even said they have never voted before but this time, they are going to vote for Governor Obaseki. From my observations and experience in Edo politics, nothing will stop Ize Iyamu defeat including federal might. Op, save this my post and bring it out on September 20 when the result must have been announced. Edo South and Edo Central is for Governor Obaseki, I can't give the permutation for Edo North but I know, Governor Obaseki will get some votes there. Governor Obaseki is not a saint but he has tried in the 3 years plus in governance. I know what played out in the time of Oshiomole, people's parents who were bus and car drivers, market men and women were beaten on a daily basis by Tony Kabaka and his boys because he was empowered by Former Governor Oshiomole. I can't go back to that era again. Op, you think Edoites don't remember? U think theyy don't remember the transformations of Governor Obaseki? Only those who are blind politically will not see them. This is the Governor that have not borrowed since the creation of Edo State. This is also same Governor who paid workers, pensioners, gratuities at when due. I know many pensioners who are enjoying Governor Obaseki transformations in pension affairs. No more staying in queue for unnecessary screenings by pensioners, many lost their lives in the time of Oshiomole.
From all the previous posts here, I can attest alot of Edoites who are on ground have tried to educate the op, please don't force him to listen, he has been paid to do the job. It was announced on news that APC have employ some persons to campaign for them online

Since have been moving round Edo State, have not seen any road project completed my Niger Delta Development commission (NDDC), they will only graze the road, make gutters or drainages on both sides of the road without covering it and then abandoned it. Their incomplete road projects are littered round Edo State. My fellow Edoites can attest to this. Nobody is talking about it.

Sir, I'm from Benin City. I went round some part of Benin City randomly on Monday, I met with workers, bus and car drivers, market men and women, pensioners and some other persons, almost everyone told me they are voting for Governor Obaseki, some even said they have voter's card but they have not voted before but because of Governor Obaseki, they will vote. I don't know where you are getting your statistics from, I went out myself to seek opinions, they are not even voting because of PDP but because of Obaseki. This Edo election is going to be more of candidate base.
Are you in benin? Let's go round tomorrow to see what is on ground. Don't base your findings on online.

One of my colleagues did an online poll to know who have PVC to vote in Edo state election, because he was tired of the ranting online. He was so surprised that it was about 0.05% of about 10000 persons that have PVC. Out of the 0.05%, some will not be in Edo State on that day to vote while some just did voter's registration just to have the card to do other things.
Online wailings or ranting doesn't count because most of the people here can't vote because they don't have PVC, they are not from Edo State nor reside in Edo State.

Federal might and Inec manipulations hardly work in Edo State. I talk as an Edoites. This Edo election will mark a political revolution in Nigeria. Just be patient, September 19 is not far again.
Alot of Edoites didn't vote in 2019, but they have vow to vote to teach Oshiomole a lesson.

Alot of things will work against Ize Iyamu
1) His attitude of decamping, Edoites sees it as over desperation
2) Godfatherism Oshiomole tried to play
3) Edoites love PDP, go check voting patterns
4) Obaseki prompt payment of workers salaries and pensioners and other developmental strides which are too numerous to mention. No pensioners lost their lives again because they are no longer subdue to unnecessary screening. Edo have never experienced any strike since Obaseki came to power.
5) People feel Ize Iyamu will bring Tony Kabaka back to continue his agberoism. Market men and women, bus and car drivers don't want to experience his brutality again. Tony Kabaka celebrating billions of assets will also work against APC and Ize Iyamu
6) Oshiomole confessions against Ize Iyamu will work against APC. The videos and messages of Oshiomole against Ize Iyamu in 2016 are still fresh.
7) Edo State people knows how to collect money and vote for their choice, it's only a few that will vote for money.
APC and Ize Iyamu dependence is on federal might which is not going to work.

PDP was not 100% right but it's far better than buhari rule. Go check Nigeria debt profile, go see how people are suffering? If I have my way, we need political overhauling in Nigeria, Obaseki and Ize Iyamu, the lesser thief is Obaseki. I was born and spend most of my life in Edo State, nothing in Edo politics you will say that I will not have idea about, I will boldly tell you and others who care to listen, Governor Obaseki 4years administration is far better than Oshiomole 8years, I'm not saying Obaseki is a saint, he can't be 100% right in all his aims because he is not God. During Oshiomole administration, have you forgotten what Tony Kabaka and his boys did? Have you forgotten how pensioners died on queue as a result of unnecessary screening? How workers were going on strikes as a result of unpaid salaries? All the roads Oshiomole did, where are most of them? Bendel brewery, Edo water board and Edo line Oshiomole promised to revive, where are they? The juice company Oshiomole said he build in Edo North, where is it? If you are bold enough, let's go for a debate in any of the TV stations in Benin City and stop deceiving non Edoites with your hate trends or posts against the governor.

What is called the CENTRAL MOTOR PARK in Benin City the state capital which is the equivalent of 'bus station' in other cities, is an eyesore even with the amount of money collected from the bus drivers/owners as taxes on daily basis by the government
We call on the executive governor of Edo state to use this dry season window to expedite work on the Benin central motor park so that passengers can commute with smiles on their faces and bus drivers will appreciate paying their taxes.
