dicksonadams: This is the only transaction notification I got
Description: POS PURCHASE @SER MEZQUITAL Y NAZAS D MX op sorry about your loss. It is quite funny that most times when things like this happen, everybody keeps shouting it is the bank staff when in reality it is usually 99% the victims fault. So some questions you can answer honestly to trace. Do you have an ATM card on your account? Have you used it for any transaction local or intl? Have you given it to anyone before? Does anyone have access to your card and know your pin? From your transaction narrations, Those transactions look to have happened in Mexico....so it is pointing to an online transaction, except you went to Mexico with your card. I pay with my card a lot of times for online transaction. but I limit the usage to website I trust. Most importantly, I don't leave money in any of my account that is used for online transaction. This should also be a lesson to all those that use their cards online. You could be playing into the hands of fraudsters. Ensure you don't leave money in any account that you use for online payments Also send emails to your bank when you call and they don't respond in situations you need to stop debits on your accounts. That way you have written evidence that you sent them a msg and they did not respond any withdrawal that takes place after you made the request, then the bank will be liable. Most importantly, don't reveal your ATM pin to anyone or give anyone your ATM card. I have seen this happen many times in the bank where people complain, threatening fire and brimstone. But in the end it ends up being their fault. |

ibabz: If the money is in the ledger account, it means the money is still with your bank, they haven't released it to the beneficiaries accounts. Send mail to the fraud unit of your bank, copy CBN and efcc. Trust me, the money would come out. That the money is in the ledger doesn't mean it hasn't been debited.....it is probably still showing there awaiting reconciliation |

lilachiever: A bank staff is definitely involved...
Lodge a complaint at a police station and swear an affidavit, take both police report and affidavit to the bank HQ, your money go come out no matter how long it takes. How is a bank staff involved? This looks like an ATM transaction so the op should say where he has used his card or who he has given it to |

Trello: Hello everyone - I'm not quite sure whether this is the right section to post this.
Anyways, I currently hold a Master's degree and I also recently gained admission into a PhD program in a UK university but with no funding from the school and the estimated total cost of the tuition and living expenses amount to about #16 million for the 3 years.
So, I decided to come seek the opinion of folks here with better experience if it really worth spending this amount in the long run or should I rather invest this amount?
Thank you in advance! The question you should answer is why do you want a PhD? To become a researcher, to teach, to become an authority in your field or to get more certificates so you can get a good job? |

Casalindal: So I got really embarrassed by some uncultured men today at the mall.. simply because you got the privileged to see my picture doesn’t give you the right to come over and want to start a conversation.. it really sad that men will never respect themselves for God sake I was with my fiancé!!! And to even imagine this guys look dirty and smell bad was despicable .. please I post here for opinions and to seek advice I’m not here to be friends or bed anyone, I’m not on anyone level here. I don’t want tag your Nairalandmonika but please let what happen this morning do not repeat itself again I would say....You are rude and if you were embarrassed you brought it upon yourself. I know everybody gets excited when they get proposed to....but having a fiance or being a fiancee is not an achievement for pple with sound values.....so you can stop with the "my fiance this and my fiance that" it gets boring real quick |
Romance › Re: Never Date Someone You Cant Marry ! by unmask: 2:51pm On Mar 25, 2020 |
MadeINchenzen2: I expect our esteemed Nairaland ladies and gents to share in my view on the subject matter.
people start relationships for different reasons known to them but here is one of which I think should be addressed before anyone agrees to date anyone.
Make Sure he/she has the potential of BECOMING a spouse:
Is physical attraction important to you?
Does he/she tick all the boxes that suits ur ideal taste?
Does religion, race or tribe factor in?
etc.
I know all of this might take sometime to figure out, yeah !!!!
This is why I urge everyone to always start out as friends rather than go "gong hó" without fear of consequences.
When a purpose of da thing is unknown, abuse becomes inevitable... Question is must you date because you want to marry..... Just say from the start you not interested in marriage..... It is only bad when you use marriage to get a date |

SouthNigerian: Good morning Nigerians, this message is for the obedient ones.
The pandemic flames can only get stronger before it subsides. But here is my candid advice to obedient Nigerians.
"Seek the positives in this times of chaos. There are opportunities lying in these problems before our eyes."
I made my first profit yesterday due to Corona Virus outbreak & I can only make more money this period.
MY ADVICE AGAIN: Seek the opportunities in this bad times, what will be will be.
Shalom! I hope the profit you made is not from exploiting people? |

They know they can't have them and then try to sully them. If that fails, they resort to rape.

I don't understand how people manage to remain in this type of relationship. And the funny thing is a lot of girls go through this experience and it becomes the norm for them. Living lives with low self-esteem.
I once dated a girl like that .....and you could see the trauma she went through. She would always flinch like she was about to be attacked if you touched her without warning |
