Those who knows Nike should tell her that her excuse is baseless and the inspiration from the pit of Hell. If she starts attending a church, the distractions can not last more than one month. One month distracting worshippers in a church is better than distractions in Hell for Eternity

Politics / Re: How Is PHCN Doing In Your Area? by upuphim(m): 12:15pm On Jul 06, 2012
My street is Oyegbola off Kayode St Onipanu, Lagos. There is light in my neighbourhood but not in our transformer for over 3 weeks now. PHCN excuse is that the transformer oil cannot be refilled in the rain whereas there has been sunny days within the period. I cease this opportunity to appeal to Shomolu District who is saddled with responsibility of fixing it to come to our rescue as PHCN bill do exempt customers without light especially this weekend as I heard from our marketer 08033357696.

Secondly, anybody in the house having contact to those that can act on my complain should be please avail me of such information. God bless Nairaland!

@poster. Your marriage is being built on a faulty foundation. You and I know what happens to such houses with faulty foundation.

Secondly, if you are not properly married, please abandon him and run for your life. He who divorce will divorce again. You will still meet other men better than him.

Finally, don't call him a Pastor again because his fruit(lie) has shown that he is not a Pastor (see Matthew 7:16-20) and the earlier you disclose his deeds the better for the congregation that he is leading. A word is enough for the wise.

Although, I neither support robbery nor fraud, but GTB Management should stop operation with 70% of her work force on contract. If at all they should continue, contract staff salary on 100k is not too much for the bank that earned N52bn profit.

For those who not are aware- All Tellers are contract staff in GTB- modern slavery in ones fatherland. God have mercy!

Once married, is married. There exists a bond between the two as they are one. Whether fake name is involved or not it is still the same spirit and the same emotion. I'm married for 15yrs, I've not cheated on my wife and by God's grace I will never. I foresee the marriage work in future if the man can forgive the woman because once beaten twice shy. Thank God it wasn't another man that saw pics. In summary, when you are too suspicious of anything, you will definitely get a clue to your surprise and curiousity. The married in the house, let's learn to build trust all the way. Avoid being married yet single. The world we are in now, requires husband and wife being together always.

Deeper Life as a church will not in any way have taught any of her members to steal or enagage in scam. There are always Judas amongst 12, whose still indulge in secret sins until they are exposed. Obakpalor is one and today he's being exposed if the allegation is true. Thank God for Deut.32:23. If you believe in Christ Jesus, please keep the faith. I'm not a member of Deeper Life but if you respect the church please do not give up as the church still preaches righteousness and faith. Behold He (Jesus) comes to reward every man according to his works Rev.22:12. Let him that has an ear, hear.

Family / Re: Issues In My Marriage by upuphim(m): 6:26pm On Apr 19, 2012
Handling in laws are delicate and complex. When my mother in law do anything wrong I normal send my wife to her. You would have send your husband to your sister in law. Note this in case of next time. However, when my mother was giving my wife much trouble after arrival of my twins I have to quickly send my mother back home. This was drastic but what should I have done, knowing fully well that I got married because my mother can no longer feel that natural vaccum. The position your huband places you matters a lot. From your naration, your husband sees you as a junior person to eveybody in their family and this is where I hate that culture and tradition.

May I let every husband in the house know that no woman allows another hand into her pot without an express approval. WOMEN HATE THIS AND TO THEM IT IS ABOMINABLE ACT. By the way, why will a nursing mother cook when there are sister in law in house? I think the family do treat wives likes slaves. May they reap whatever they sow!

In these days of husband killing wife, I suggest you move out to safety especially if you can fend for yourself and kid rather than being died.

When he comes for reconciliation, you can table conditions for your going back which includes: He must vow never to lay hand on you again. He must see you as second in command in your matrimonial home but I hope you are properly married to him. If not, the battle is going to be fierce and I cannot guarantee you victory.

Religion / Re: self-service Controversy: Pastors Blast Oyakhilome by upuphim(m): 5:00pm On Feb 28, 2012
I want to remind those that know the Bible that sin is increasing by the day and all imaginations of man is evil right from the beginning see Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.

Back to the topic.  It's obvious that those who indulge in masturbation always experience guilty feeling.  If the heart as evil as it is, condemns the person who maturbates how much more a Holy God.  See 1 John 3:20 Quote:
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Those who maturbates should also remember that most times the guilty feeling comes when you stand before God in prayers.  Once again, if in this sinful world you feel guilty to masturbation act, then be sure you cannot innocent if ever enter into HEAVEN with such life style.

I'm sure you are not in Naija.  If you are, you would have known that this method is being used to detonate bomb.  How will the Sgt refuse to carry out lawful instruction.  Where did you get the training that AK47 is the best method to detonate bomb?

Anyway, we all in NL have seen that a robot could be used to detonate a bomb.  Let us cry to Nigerian Authority to provide these robots and other equipment for the NPF in view of the prevailing situation.

May God provide, keep and sustain those the Sergeant left behind.  Amen!
Family / Re: My Mother Is Trying To Break My Home by upuphim(m): 4:08pm On Oct 24, 2011
You do not need to waste time on these developments.  At first your mother lied that she is a pastor but what are you seeing now.  Are you waiting until she turns fetish before you take action? For impersonating a pastor she could be opposite.

I advise you to send her away as fast as possible.  Husbands in such circumstances normally will not show any sign to support but in their heart they are against anything that gives their wives discomfort.

Once again send her packing.
Sports / Re: There Is Hope For Nigeria In The African Cup Of Nations Prophet Tb Joshua by upuphim(m): 4:38pm On Oct 11, 2011
[td]We can recall that Prophet T.B Joshua prophesied that Nigeria will loose the AFCON ticket to Guinea in last Saturday's qualifying match except the SE handlers come for prayers and instruction. He said he saw Nigeria and Guinea struggling for one goal which will decide who will get the ticket from the group[/td].

Those who are close to TB Joshua should advise him to face other spiritual matters that will positively help Nigeria especially in the area of righteousness.  I believe TBJ can pray for SE without they (SE) coming for prayers being a condition attached because distance is no hinderance to prayers.  What ever good comes to Nigeria comes to all including TBJ.

To my own view, TBJ should remember that the spirit of prophet is subject to the prophet 1 Corinthians 14:32 i.e TBJ is at liberty choose not say anything about football matces.  His prophecies has been going contrary and I believe there is a recognition which God don't want to be accorded to TBJ.

If I understood you, your major dislike is lack of respect for your bedroom.  You have controlled her from washing your clothes and attimes insisted on not washing your dishes.  Also, you don't have a house help yet.  I feel you can handle it this way by sitting her down:

1.  Pray with her, thanking God for the closeness that have exists betwixt you.
2.  Appreciate her by mentioning areas she has been of  tremendous help eg. helping to play with the baby and feeding the baby as well.  That she has been a good companion.
3.  Now to the point, beg her to promise you that she will not to be offended with what you aare going tell her.  Change position to where you can put your hand on her shoulder and tell her the need to keep away from bedroom. Give examples of repercussions, strangers can suspect her having affairs with your husband if she is seen coming out of the bed with your husband.  She could be a suspect for any item missing in bedroom. She can meet your huband naked etc etc etc.
4.  Finally, end with this adage that a child becomes everybody's own after birth.

Meanwhile, try not to offend her because you will need her assistance especially when your child start crawling.  My wife have helped to save twice convulsed children in our neighbourhood.  In this part of the world you can't do without a good neighbour.

Awaiting mothers gets answered by caring with babies, one of my neighbou benefited from this type of company.  Cast away fear, and believe that your cup can run over in the presence of your enemies Psalm 23:5. You can't give any protection with God Psalm 127:1-2.  Pray and cover your child with the blood of Jesus. Your husband (with your permission) can also drop polite and sweet words like- neighbour don't you know that you are too beautiful to enter my bedroom? Que sera sera, sera (whatever will be will be).

Fellow Nlanders,

Police job as well as EFCC stops immediately a case is charged to court.  The learned friends determines who must be sentenced and who must be freed. I'm sure the day EFCC looses a case it is always a sad day.  All those calling Ribadu bad name, are you sure you will do better than him if you were in his shoes?  In your working place will they promote you and you turn it down.  Let's be sincere and know that those watching football always play better than those in the field.  The level of corruption in the country is so much that being in that position you can hardly escape without being contaminated.  I do pray for a better Nigeria as nothing is impossible for God to do.  May God give the Judges more boldness to allow fair and just judgement. Amen!

@ Goddex
Goddex:

Ribadu did his best for his country. He may not be a saint though.
His message here is that, EFCC during his headship investigated and indicted
Bode George and subsequently charged him to court.

This is a well come development. It is said 'don't start a fight because you don't know how it will end'. Since FG defined how it will end, I call upon MEND to stand by their word- Indefinite Cease Fire and allow peace in the Area. If there is a way to deal with all those stinkly rich men who converted money meant for Niger Delta Region, would be a nice idea.

Also, MEND should submit proposal plans to Oil Companies on various facilities they expect in the Region as FG may be slow in implementation of some infrastructural developments.

Don't you think you can live without alcohol, considering the damage done on the next day?  Why thinking of consuming more harmful 'chemical' to the body?

My advice is that you J E S U S is medicine you need.  His blood shared for many can replace alcohol.  If you undertake Follow-up  or Foundation class to the point of getting filled with the Holy Spirit, you will see yourself being controlled by Holy Spirt of God instead of being controlled by alcohol.

Family / Re: Help Me Out -my Wife Change Completely After Wedding by upuphim(m): 10:40am On Aug 07, 2009
The delay on child bearing is the cause.  While you were courting there was no child delay because you were not expecting.  Women feel it harder than men and she is feeling a bit unsafe in the marriage especially with the prophecy that you will marry another woman.  Consider the followings:
1.  Assure her that it is not all prophecies that must come to pass.  Some are given as forewarning so as to be forearmed.
2.  If you kept the bed undefiled during courtship, then you must assure her of your continued faithfulness drawing reference to courtship period.  However, if you cheated on her while courting, you can still assure her that you have promised yourself not to do it again.
3.  Identify with her by going to any christian gather she believe child delay can have solution but never go to "babalawo " or places that resemble it.
4.  Do you prayer & fast together,  and how much of your prayer is focused on fruit of the womb, otherwise adjust.
5.  If she is a working class wife, do you share the domestic chores equally with her.  This sound foolish to many men who are real 'africans' but if it brings peace to your marriage, then your dream of not hurting Jesus will be realized.  Plan your leave period to do ALL domestic chores and watch her behaviour.  You may be surprise, she will take in during this period. This counsel is in view of Eph.5:25-29 GIVING YOUR LIFE TO YOUR WIFE AS CHRIST GAVE HIS LIFE FOR THE CHURCH
6.  Invite your church member children- one or two to spend weekend with you on a continuous bases and invite them to pray for you to also get them a playmates.  A Pastor was doing this and after 10 years God visited them.  Two Grand mothers who were always taking care of my twins every sunday they see them now have twins each as grand children.

NO SACRIFICE IS TOO MUCH TO BRING SANITY INTO YOUR MARRIAGE. HUMBLE YOURSELF AND GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP.  LEAVE DIVORCE OUT OF THIS MATTER.  IN MALACHI 2:16 GOD SAYS "I HATE DIVORCE" JESUS IS LORD! 07041989743
Health / Re: Free Tuberculosis Drugs Diverted To Other Nations Because Of Tax by upuphim(m): 6:07pm On Aug 03, 2009
I am sure I will gain nothing at spreading rumors.  Between May and July 2009 I've sourced this drug in the market because there was no drug where my brother was taking treatment, hence the origin of my interview with medical personnel in charge. Therefore my post is to get in touch with a reliable Customs Officer or FG agent that can handle this case.  For those who call it hear say, do I wait until a Newspaper publishes this information, or don't you think the masses even give journalist information?

My GSM is 07041989743 for any inquiry.
Health / Free Tuberculosis Drugs Diverted To Other Nations Because Of Tax by upuphim(m): 11:37am On Aug 03, 2009
A medical personnel told me that a wealthy white man shared his life time earnings into four places. Dedicated one quarter to combat Tuberculosis (TB) in Africa and a special drug was dispensed to that effect.  This drug is being used by Public Health Centres in all hospitals across Nigeria and freely given to patients.  Suddenly, it became scarce.  On enquiry, same hospital staff on condition of anonymity said that the scarcity was due to FG demand for tax on the drugs, hence it has to be diverted to other nations that do not demand tax. If this is true, it is like forbidding someone to give alms to a dire need beggar.  Must FG make money out of this charity donation or could it be excesses of 'egunje' customs officers?

Any Custom Officer in the house or anybody in better position? help is needed to contact the authoritieses to seek for a waiver since this is a humanitarian service.  TB is more deadly than HIV/AIDS. I understand it to be a catalyst to death of infected HIV/AIDS victim.  I'm not a victim but I have seen a close Father & Mother wiped away by HIV/AIDS.

Critics in the house, this has to do with an assistance to save life, kindly criticise with mercy and proffer solution.

I feel we are hasty at condemning NPF & NA action.  Let's wait for clearer circumstances surrounding his death but I assure you it is better to hear that he is dead than to hear he escaped from custody.  I'm sure today Honduras Interim Govt. is regretting why they sent Zaleya to exile instead of killing him.  Meanwhile, do anyone pity the policemen that are killed? They could be innocent citizen that wants to overcome idleness by enlisting into NPF o o o o!

It appears you guys have been watching too many CNN and do not understand how Nigeria works.

Nigeria is an HIJACKED country. You dont stop/remove hijackers by street protest.

You hit them where it hurts exactly what MEND is doing.

Israel is land of Jesus. They did not pray to GOD to help them, they develop chemical weapons to wipe out anyone that disturb them.

Poster, mind how you support violence.  Remember Nigeria IS multi ethnic, tribal and language in nature.  What worked for other nations may not work in Nigeria.  May I ask you. what plan has MEND to reconstruct the blown pipelines.  As Allied Forces concluded invading Iraq, there were plans for reconstruction. What happens when all oil installations are down.  VIOLENCE DOES BEGAT VIOLENCE.  PROTEST REMAINS A GOOD AVENUE IF NOT HIJACKED BY HOODLUMS.  Two wrongs cannot make right.
