Simple offences that a trained traffic policeman can simply tell a driver "go and do it no more"[/quote]Lmao! This man knows nothing about the law. |

Autolord: The best web developer in Nigeria without a computer science degree cannot build a web app like netflix that recommends movies to its users using a powerfull recommender system(machine learning) technique, he cannot build an app to encrypt and decrypt codes and messages transferred through the internet, he cannot work with cloud services such as amazon aws because he doesn't even understand what it is, he knows noting about software engineering used by facebook, google and most multi-billion dollar web companies, he knows noting about scaling, he knows noting about data analysis used to predict disasters and many more stuffz. Computer science is not about using php and dreamweaver to develop a "website" there is much more involved that's why facebook, google, netflix, microsoft, jumia, irokotv employ computer scientists some even require a phd in computer science and not mere website designers. I'm just referring to your website stuffRecomender System is the real deal bro, developed one while in Uni that can recommend tarrif plans for telcos. I will add Data Mining to the points you've raised, having a good knowledge of it can save one's life. |
kodewrita: Even biblically, the wise are the ones who take instruction and add to their knowledge. If someone wilfully decides that more knowledge is uninmportant, then they have commenced a journey down the path of failure. It's not fair, how can you mention normalisation? Let's even start from step 1: Conceptual Modelling. As an IT person, it's important to have an idea of other areas that are not your specialty. |
Next IG: @Op, I am not going to exonorate the church from some unwanted happenings within her, but this your story lacks substance. Why did I said so?Really? |
Uyi Iredia: @ apache: If Nigerians truly vote Jonathan in come 2015, I must consider them, once more, fools. I can understand the sympathy for his humble start, being happy with his CV and his good luck bit all that changed Jan 2012. If Nigerians forget that and still vote him, moreso given this ASUU strike and the carelessness with which it is handled, I must compare them to a wife who returns to an abusive husband, which they've been over the years. I hope I'm proven wrong.God bless you. |
Rossikk: ELECTIONS are what we use to choose our president. If you think you can do a better job, or you know someone who can, then present same in 2015. MANY NIGERIANS support Jonathan. That's why he is president. When 2015 comes, bring your candidate forward and Nigerians will choose. Don't come here asking people to sign off their NL accounts!I'm so sorry Sir but I think you're blind, if you look closely you will notice I mentioned "next president". Next time read the words slowly, you will assimilate better. Where you in this country in January 2012? That was when "MANY NIGERIANS" stopped supporting. My challenge still stands though, say what you have typed outside your house. God bless you Sir. |
The truth is simple, development in this country is moving @ snail speed on the other hand GEJ as a ruler doesn't inspire much confidence. In 2001 his greatest assest was the love the people on the streets had for him, his story of "supernatural promotion" made everbody love him, If you remember most people added goodluck to their names, he was a darling of the masses. In January 2012 all that changed because of the subsidy drama. I have a simple challenge for GEJ's hardcore supporters here...sign out from your Nairaland account and start defending him in person, @ this point it has gone beyond hiding behind your computer screen. If you don't have an idea of where to start, try the local vendor in your neighbourhood, start telling people how he has transformed this country. If the response you get, doesn't change your opinion it will be fair to say you're an enemy of this country. Btw I don't care about where a leader comes from, our next President might be from Bayelsa too, I just want a fearless, intelligent and honest person to rule this country. |
Keyboard warriors have taken over this thread, I bet most of the guys acting like political strategists here can't even control their homes. ![]() |
Ovamboland: But in this generation most people believe it is anathema to have different views from the Oga at the top not to talk of having the effrontery to express them. Our youths seem to find it difficult to shed mentality of the military command structure that brooks no opposition.Well said. |
Where's the homie Yuzedo? |
Op shouldn't forget the political e-warriors, I'm tired of their mumuism. |

Bizibi: I remember reading a piece in vanguard newspaper were a wrap of cocaine is sold fr 100 naira in some slums in lagos and even in some part of south-east,so im nt surprise that danfo drivers are drug addictsGod bless you... there are adulterated types of cocaine everywhere. The one that has been mixed with ***** so it can be sold @ a cheaper price. |
SUBMARINE: Although Christ told us to pay our tax, I believe a wise govt should avoid taxing businesses of religious organizations, seeing it as their way of apprenciating God's mercy.Really? |

The Bible said, if you had a grudge against your fellow brother (Christian), never you take the matter to the judge outside, rather, present it to the elders (pastors) in the church for an amicable solution, we shouldn't allowed unbelievers to settle our matters.
