thundafire:Once we start eating it, that's when you will hear "Locust Extinction inevitable". Somebody should invent soup for the thing O. |
Charly68:People need jobs. Simple He can't just go and kill everybody who misbehaves. There won't be anybody left in the country. |
eedimo:Underlying cause? Underlying cause is No Job . We have no jobs because we have No industries. We have no industries because we rather import finished goods into the country than manufacture our own goods and export. Cars, phone shoes, pant....even petrol. We can't even manufacture petrol. We have to export crude oil for Western nations to refine it into petrol, then import the petrol back. |
Tpave:This is how Nigerian education is also. Everybody has PhD. But nobody has solved Nigeria's problem. |
Dukeolumidemans:Hmm. Animal Husbandry Mid-Wifery …. House-Girlry |
frozen70:This is why we kill fish, fry and eat. |
Bahddo:Exactly. I paid £180 monthly in UK for a one-room flat. At the time, £1 = N250 In fact it was just 1 room with cooker and cabinet on one side. I used to go outside to take my bath. That gives N540,000 annual rent for a 1-room flat. What kind of bullshit is that? Big boys in Lekki were paying that kind of money for 3 bedroom flat. |
Mrquincy:Monthy How? So where are the youth now? If they can't pay only 1-month rent, is it 12 months rent they will pay? The person that is homeless is already homeless, 1 month or 12 months. My fear is that when people can pay 12 months (1 year) rent by being disciplined and saving money, then you now come and tell them to pay only 1 month rent, they will think they have excess money. Then spend it anyhow on shoe, watch and phones and then indeed become broke and homeless the next month. |
Europeans, Westerners all live on credit. Their bank account is 0.00. They use credit card for everything. Food, Clothes, Car, Phone contract, mortgage. And then they spend their lives, working and paying back the credit, month after month. In that type of life, one can barely save anything. That's why they pay monthly rent. They can never save money like us to pay yearly. We Nigerians do not have credit system. Nobody here will give you Food, Clothes, Car, Phone contract, mortgage on credit. Go and earn your complete money first, before buying anything. So somehow, we are better at saving money. We can save to pay annual rent. But believe me, if you allow your life to go down the path of credit-credit-credit.... you can never gain it back. Majority of British students take out a student loan to even go to university. And this money is deducted from their salary if and when they get jobs after graduation. Many get seriously depressed becuase of this. If they don't pay, it is recorded as a bad credit rating and they can not take more credit for any other thing. Some just gather small money, enter aeroplane and run to Australia (a country made or formerly British citizens) and start a new life there, never to return to UK. |
Righteousness89:This is Africa. All these small-small lines are the boundaries of different ethnic groups (tribes). Can you find Nigeria there? When oyibos were designing our African countries, they didn't look at these lines at all. They just drew boundaries anywhere they like. Today now, na vex and fight 24/7. 2 tribes cannot work together to achieve anything.

Well different things can mess up news broadcast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dyVAECOBgY |
tstx:You do you have royalty? Can you even give up looking at your phone when talking to someone else? When you are talking to somebody and your phone rings, who is more important? The person you are talking to or the person calling you in the phone? |
olasaad:Kukuma just learn how to clean your rice by yourself. Or set up an industry cleaning the rice. Stop waiting for government to do anything in this country. |
JosEast:Remove the stones na!? ABI oyibo should come and remove the stones for us then sell it back to us as imported rice? |
psalmsmiles:Everyone prayed for New year, dance and ate Christmas chicken. January never finish. Na-Na, explosion and death. May they rest in peace. May the rest of us be watchful and prayerful. |
Thegeneralqueen:The only problem of Lagos is overpopulation. The facilities are not sufficient for the population. People be complaining about Lagos. Commot Na!? They will still be there |
Lucid1:It's not really the rods. Most times. it's too much sand instead of cement. If you just make mistake not to supervise the construction, they will just be mixing sand and patching the house. Small thing, the house will just fall. |
Racoon:Yes it is. When the infrastructure has to be set up amongst so many different tribes people. Some need the light, others break and steal the Electrical components to keep reselling. Others still do not need the light at all do they can keep selling generators. Multiple tribes people not sharing same goal. |
Denko2721987:Somebody must buy land and build house Na!? You are taking as if we are in UK where the entire country is built by the government and everyone just rents properly surveyed and constructed property. We are local indigenes here from Biblical times till now, and No government has ever built any house for local indigenes. |
FocusedDiva:It's just erosion They built the well with the usual well rings Due to no fault of theirs, the ground around there got badly eroded. But the well is still standing. |
jovijovi:Uncle, I lived in a house upstairs with an Indian in another room. 2 British downstairs. I was still trying my best with just rice and stew. But that Indian guy, I no just understand. If na so the whole India be, there's no point going there. Curry 24/7/365 for ordinary boiled water sef. Me sef, could not stand the smell. I pitied the 2 British downstairs. I hope our smell did not reach them. |
baratech:All women are fine. |
Smellingrillmea:Ehhh? she is fine. Simply put, there has to be agreement on what can be done on the property. The whole nation of Oyibo in Western world, cannot eat pepper or spicy food. As you are going to live with them, adjust your stomach and eat their food. If you must still eat our Nigerian food, then find a landlord, or restaurant that allows it. |
Na wa o. Tins dey happen for dis obodo oyibo o. Nothing can separate us from the love of edika ikong, ogbono and tuwo and efo riro. God bless Nigeria.
These ones will bust their head. I used to cook rice and stew only O when I lived as a student with them. Ordinary the small pepper of the stew was turning their eyes and nose. If I come and be Yoruba nko? The house for don catch fire. Na only bread and butter them dey dey eat. |
maynation:They ran to their house to get support and ammunition They know your house. Do you know their own house? |
fixedhollies:It's a sign of poverty, It's a sign of poverty, It's a sign of poverty.... How many signs of poverty do we need? As of this 2020 with all the jobless graduates roaming around, is it not crystal clear that Nigeria is a poor nation by now? How many more signs does one need? |
bakynes3:A King is the head of his kingdom. Nobody is above him So it is impossible for the president of this nation to be above the King's and subject them to his laws. They will not obey ..it is impossible for them to obey You better abolish their Kingdom and remove all their powers first. |
While reacting to a question on how the government plans to deal with monarchs supporting Illegal mining activities, he told PREMIUM TIMES that ”indicted kings and chiefs will face the law.” This is the main problem of Nigeria. How can you be a King under a president? Indicted Kings and Chiefs will face the law. Which law? The president will place a law over a King? Such is impossible. |
nini007:Marriage is till "Death do you part" So far her former husband is alive, just find your way and look for proper single woman Leave the woman alone. This is plain adultery |
Blizzykay:Ol boy, Na the joint be that O Mechanic been dey that side before. |
