@5minsmadness, there are no kids yet, sex life is ok and both of us know I'm good looking because he knows i still get constant compliments for my good looks. I sincerely don't know what the issue is. I just feel he wants to explore and satisfy some fantasies but I'm getting emotionally hurt. I pity myself most times. It's only my mom that knows what is happening and she's been praying with me. I'm a woman of few words, i hardly discuss my affairs with people.
@veave, no he doesn't beat me. There's no reason why he would do that. Our marriage is really somehow (i don't know if that's how other marriages are). I rarely ask him for money because i work in a well paid organisation, i don't disturb him for nothing. All i want is care and love, nothing more.

I'm from an average family of 3 children , he doesn't have any pressure from any members of my family and i definitely know it's not about the children that have not come, we've been on it from the first year of our marriage. This is really getting at me. I just felt like pouring out my mind.
It's okay. Your children would come when they are ready. What are the things you like to do?
FamilyRe: Where Is Idowuogbo??? by veave(f): 7:50am On Oct 06, 2016
You should not ask about them. I also do not blame them if they never come back. This place was becoming something else. When a forum were people spend time/data/opinion becomes a battle field, it becomes distasteful. The last 3yrs has been fighting, cursing, name calling, use of hard words on each other. Its on Nairaland i learnt, you only air your opinion by insulting others and bringing down their spirit. I learnt well.

Do not divorce your husband. Does he beat you? If no. Get condoms, then start loving yourself More. Movies, beach, fellowship, weddings, girls night out, children's dinner date. Etc

What am i seeing here? Oh my world!!! Not one male said Nigerian women are good. Everyone is calling us olosho. Im highly disappointed. Seriously. You really need to change the circle of people you move with. My lovely op. We have beautiful, godfearing, homely, understand, accomodating and sound ladies here in Nigeria. At least my sisters, cousins and i are part of them. Do not let anyone discourage you. If you know how to distinguish wheat from chaff, you will be fine

Your wife and child are too fragile to travel. Their health should be your priority first and not hurting or not hurting your father in law's feelings. You should not even be considering anything that would jeopardize their well being. No amount of money is enough. Except your wife insists she want to go for wedding. Btw, you did not tell us the distance between your father in law's place and yours.

I ga adi.

Imagine. I do not support your husband talking down at you infront of his mum. But you sound disrespectful and troublesome. Work on yourself first. Every other thing would sorrt itself out.

But wait oh.... How come the mama did not remeember to come to lagos until her son got married? Both of you are actually two troublesome and jobless people. Let the both of you start business. She sells food stuff while you sell something else. That way you both will be too busy to chck who look me bad eye and who no greet me

Greed is the most wicked sin I have ever come across. It just makes me wanna shot something dead!
Have this "nice Christian woman" down the street who I sincerely love.Gave her a old Gen free last yr after she promised to pay, but I refused to take a dime because the amount she wanted to pay for it was very very unreasonable.Promise to give her (out of my free will) a standing fridge when I m moving out of the apartment FREE. Now this woman is asking after my air condition. shocked shocked :oSaid if I want to sell it? angry angry Someone that can't afford my generator, my standing fridge, now she us asking after my AC? I have decided when I'm moving out, I will just give her 15k, tell her my sister needs the fridge and that she should join money to the 15k and get another fridge. I hate her character already angry angry.
My father would always say. If not for Christianity, it is always good to leave the poor alone where they are. If you attempt to help them they become extremely greedy and want to take over. Thinking it's their right. I never understood him until I came across this type of your scenario. My sister give her the fridge if you can because you promised her already. But just cancel her from your mind. Even when she's dying in future. Look the other way. In fact cross to the next street

The more reason why she should start selling now since the area is developing. Her shop would expand as people keep moving in.
RomanceRe: HELP! 2 Years After Marriage. She Is Not Ready To Work by veave(f): 9:57pm On Aug 27, 2016
She was not ready to leave lagos when she did. Nevertheless, its not an excuse for mediocrity. Many women would give the whole world for their husband to buid them a house and attach a shop for their use to it. Guess she's not really ready to grow up. Or didn't you put her in all your relocation ideas before hand?

This is a case of someone with yam, no knife. Someone with knife, no yam.
Be patient.

Why picking a fight with me and why getting so upset. Its impossible to be denied a visa without the embassy stating a reason for denial. Please go to VSF office that represent france embassy, meet with the staff and ask if its possible, you will know what i mean. and please if you like to reply this post, do it without using abusive word, please.

You deserve a slap even. It's only in this country that something would go wrong between a Nigerian and foreigners and Nigerians without asking questions would blame their own brother. You should support your brother first then ask 'who start fight' later. Thats what patriotism is all about. Mtchwwwww....

Elie the unfortunate part of all this is the reason adduced for the Visa refusal, which is that the applicant did not show enough reason to be in France for the Championship. I had as far back as May when we applied spoke with officials of the French Embassy who assured me. Only one senior player had his visa approved with the same documents.
Visa normally takes 10 days but this took six weeks only to be denied when it is impossible to appeal.

Since he picks the circumstances to do his chores then you have the audacity to send kick him out of the house. You're a good woman by reporting him to hubby because many wives won't take that shiite. So even his plates he won't washhuh? You better start pouring all his unwashed plates into his box of clothes. Madam, you better wake up and put your house in order. Even the bible says that any tree that does not bear fruit should be cut off! If he is useless to you, kick him out. The economy is too harsh to take extra bullshitte.

How person go enter my house my house eat, him no go wah even him own plate? I go fling am throw away. So he doesn't wash his plate or do chores in his hostel? Him dey foam big boy for my house? Smh. That kind person no go last one week for my house. I go just count better money, call am enter room, give am like 50k then ask him to get the fyck outta my house
Baby, where have you been? I don miss you oh...

Thank you My Sister. My neighbour gave me their gift out of abundance of their hearts, with the little they have. Must I give exact gifts they gave me if I can afford to give more? No! I was even surprise how she knew the product they are using. My wife even complained bitterly that the diapers (my baby) she gave us was leaking when used. should I buy the same diaper (my baby) to them? No! I'm a father with Children and I know that I give my children the best in life with the help of God. Thanks again.
Don't fight with her. Just give them money to buy what they want. Trust me. Daiper would be very far from it. Things are real hard. Anyone you give money now would never stop putting you in prayers

Hi fam, I'm looking for schools to apply for phd in. I've not made up my mind on what i want to do yet but it definitely be close to speech and text synthesis. BTW, how do i calculate the aggregate in percentage? For example what would 60, 70, 80% be?

I'd love to do it out of the shores of Nigeria. Do you know how i could apply for full scholarships? And what countries i could get it easily?

even if she is nt getting enough house keeping money, that is nt the right approach. and may i remind u that people who are big on giving dn't necessarily give because they have enough or excess.
i just think it is a case of woman that has either poor attitude towards money or personal vendatta against her neighbour.
Remember, i said i think. My thoughts could be wrong tho. Because i wonder why you would prefer to give cheap gifts simply because that is the one they use when your husband has willingly agreed to foot the bill for higher quality. Has it not occurred to her that they use the ones they use because of cost? Just like you rightly said. Givers do not necessarily have it all, but just have the heart of giving which is golden. Op's wife need serious orientation about that. Besides, she is the type of friend one should avoid. Imagine bearing a grudge with her neighbour this big and pretending all is well. Only bidding her time for a pay back. God go help us.

BTW, between 1-3 which of them would you choose?
FamilyRe: I Have A Family Problem by veave(f): 1:37am On Aug 22, 2016
Na wah oh.

Toh 1.give them money. 2.let your wife buy the things so you can bear a grudge. 3. Buy the things yourself and face family panel.

BTW.

Who is providing money for that?
Don't you think someone is not getting enough houe keeping money and is looking for where to pinch from to solve personal need? My thoughts tho.
