Leave families and cleave to wife, doesn't mean cut off completely from one's family forever and cleave to one's partner. Leave means to move out of from the family home and create a new family wit ones partner not outright cut off.

Sighs I was once engaged 18years ago and my ex wanted just me and him all alone. He doesn't want my only brother or mom near his home but his own family can come visit and sleep over. I felt lost, I felt alone, his obsessive love was not enough to make me happy. I was very young back then. I felt he was very wicked trying to cut me off from my family. And that singular act with other things that followed broke us up.

I can't cut off my mom and only brother, hell no.

In fact it's unhealthy telling anyone who has close ties with their parents and siblings to cut off from them.

Now my parents and sibling is no more. And It hurts. I envy people with moms and siblings. They don't know what the have around them, until they loose them to the hands of death. No need cutting off from your families, don't worry Death will take them away naturally from you. Just be patient and try to make use of any quality time u have to love and care for them.

They will definitely leave one day through death. So women and men making all efforts to cut off their spouses from their parents and siblings. Relax, they will die one day.

As most of y'all, don't want to see your parents again immediately y'all get married. Please be patient wit them. They will die one day and y'all will be free from their pestering and visits.

Iwantpeace, sorry to say u are not a good woman. I'm sorry but that's the truth from my own point of view.
U remind me of my younger brother's fiance. She tried everything to split us apart but my brother didn't heed to her devices.
And she doesn't know how to cook sef, while I'm a perfect cook. When her complains became too much that we are too close, my brother told her look better go and meet my sister to teach u how to cook. Because I love good food. If you can cook like her, then I won't be going to her place every week to eat. I don't joke with good meals.
And this is a girl with parents. While I and my brother were orphans. What kind of training parents give to their children, I just don't understand anymore.

She still won't come and meet me to teach her but she can eat like a glutton by the time Im done cooking, then she will smiles to my brother, wow! Your sister can pursue someone back to the village o, the meal is sweet. Sighs.

And at the slight sign of ill-health from my. Bro, she broke up with him.

Please don't break up the bond between brothers or brother and sisters. It's bad. Be considerate. Take his younger brother as yours. He's free with you thats why he dishes his meal himself.

Anyways I love how life always deal with women like you. Just pray the younger brother does not succeed in life or else God can turn the tables around if your wahala becomes too much for the youngman. That's when u will understand when it means not to be petty or selfish with what u have.

I didnt even task any of them. I was even the one spending so they look up to my class and I fed them well but I didn't know I was pouring water in a basket and they end up pulling me down to zero level.

Thank God I'm back, better than before after cutting everyone off and cleansed my sef spiritually, then focused on rising up again.
It took me 5years to rise again, with real suffering during those 5years. I didn't have sex for complete 5 years because I was determined to break free and resurrect my biz again.

When I was not having sex or dating any guy I was rich , people on my street thought I was into rituals then , I started dating broke hustling guys, I became terribly poor

yeah, jobs are unpredictable. I used to be sad that my friends got jobs and I didn't but today, I am grateful for all the experience lol.. I have never really worked for anyone since I left school. I even started making 6 figures before most of my classmates could know what's up. I squandered my first millions though and I paid dearly for that mistake or shall I say foolishness?

Newsflash: if he must know, I have a young cousin who bought a Mercede Benz cars for himself and an extra for his 30 years old wife. He didn't come online to ask strangers if he should gift his wife a car. And he didn't seek for our approval. He simply did it, out of his own free will and knowing fully well he doesn't have the patience to always drop his kids at school, then branch and drop his wife at her shop while he heads to work.

My cousin is an inspiration to me, he's meticulous, family oriented, doesnt over labour his wife with house chores. While shes cooking, he's either tending to the kids or washing their curtains or thick duvee. Sometimes he comes back home with take away packs from Spar. Such an easygoing guy.
