I think that the proffesor is having brain problem.

Theoretically it is possible but there are so many reasons why it is impossible in a practical sense.

A lot of people here especially our women thinks that economic power and all those modern choices is what the leadership of the home is all about.

No, it is a fallacy that has run for generation, even though God want men to provide for their family, the headship we are talking here is spiritual and even there are times that the woman may not agree with her husband but a simple prayer will open the eyes of the Husband and direct him right to lead the family to the 'promised land' or where the family wil find peace and fulfilment with God.

It is an accepted fact that the majority of women are emotinal and there is a reason for that and it is for the will of God to be done. The bible said that the woman will always relly on the husband, it did not say financially but we know it means emotionally. A family with a father (in vast majority of cases) always shows in terms of the diffrence of that fatherood.

I respect all those opinion which are predominately feminist but One thing I am sure is that 95% of those feminist would sing diffrent tune in less tahn 20 years.

Usually I don't have time for this kind of story as it sound suspicious.

Maybe your husband is pretending all through your marriage. Do you have plans for having children, do you have some medium to long term plans together. What about his properties, personal and real in Finland. has he removed majority of them etc

Women usually have a good instinct about whether a man loves them or just pretending.

1.Are you really sure he loves you and want to spend the rest of his life with you?
2. Did he has resident papers before you get married?

If the answers to the above questions are YES or even if the first one is YES then the next questions are

3. Did you know any of his family and have any of their numbers?

4. Do you speak with any of his family during your courtship and marriage before he left for Nigeria.

My instinct on thinking about it is that something terrible may have happen to him and or there is a big conspiracy by his friends and family, i think the latter propably. He may have been given another 'wife' somewhere but then he needs to divorce you before he can legally marries another wife, if that is what he is planning.

As for the property, by law you will have to share it with him because it was willed to both of you even if he is leaving you or intends to marry another wife.

You may be 'stealing' if he contact you and divorce you and you keep quite about the property. But then if he has cowardedly cheat you, I can't advise you to do the same, maybe you may be forgiven by God if you refuse to disclose the property to him.

Time is an important factor, if you wait and keep the property and after some years he never showed up again, then I think after 7 years( i don't know the laws in Finland) he will be presumed dead and you can keep the property solely or you sell it. The other way is to sell it and keep his half share for 7 years and then bingo you have it if he does not show up.

Our gut instinct is that IBB is the Field marshall of 419 but like someone on this thread said you can only prosecute people on evidence and not on hearssay.

For some reason which we be clear in the not too distant future I think IBB will be prosecuted, it maybe for him to come and account for his wealth.

OBJ has never said that he is a thief, so if anybody have evidence including Turaki spending monies on 3rd term agenda, OBJ is no longer the commander in chief even though he may have selected Yar Adua come forward let us see your evidence.

They said OBJ was using EFCC to go after people who are against his 3rd term agenda. He is no longer there or no more 3rd term. Does he still have political oppositon that he need to go after. I leave you to be the judge of that.

It is what it is generally called troubleshooting of all imaginable scenario to defeat the cheats.

Nobody build a house without a plan, without masterplan the whole thing will be a joke. We should be planning to build a world class electricity system that will last at least 100years  and more ,plus also leave room for expansion.

There are some silent conspiracy to stand up to some unpalatable truth. If the present system has failed maybe we should pull all of it down and build a viable and futuristic system. Maybe patch patch no go work, why pretending and deciving ourselves. Pull down and rebuild.

As for Fraud, The russians, italians and major part of the south east Asian are the superstar, except that the majority bears similar surnames so you are not sure who is done what. The Pakistanian and the indians are propably more fraudulent than Nigerians but then they have Nuclear weapons so the West treat them with Respect.

Chinesse are worst but they have built Economic powerbase from huge fraud and now going to be overtaking the uSA as the next superpower, even the Americans don't know how powerful the chinesse are military wise.

Wait until Nigeria(if we have the ball) to aqcuire  nuclear know how, then the west we announce us as rogue state and they will be negotiatiing rather than call us name.

Nigerian's especially in diaspora makes more noise than any others when they do something they should bury their heads in the sand for.

This is the Big one, there is a political angle to economic warfare in the major countries of the world. Take Europe and the USA on the issue of A380 and Boeing & 787 aircrafts. It is simply to do with economics and jobs, and wealth creation for their own people. It is easy to fight Nigerians by demonising them and everybody avoid doing business with them. There is a silent propaganda against Nigeria because if Nigeria were to wake up and realise its rightful position and used it at least the west will stop reaping us off and when el start to compete against them rather than being their dumping ground for their consumer goods.

Nigerians help these countries by accepting this negative labelling accepting that we are no good, we are fraudulent, we are bad etc. Complete nonsense.

Even if anybody is, why they are and they should change is a our preoccupation rather than glorifying it as if we are the only bad people on earth

An average westerner are more fraudulent and will seek to hide it under some law.

Look let me tell you the history of Fraud, it is big time rip off by big corporations, they are what I called legalised thieves.

1. Insurance companies - they always find away to avoid paying out once accident happens

2. Banks- bank fees, charges, interest penalties  etc

3. Lotteries

and many more

In conclusion, the receiver is more dangerous than the thief, our leaders in collaboration with the west steal billions of dollars and put in a western account to develop the western economies, what is that , big time fraud.

I will not accept that an average Nigerian is fraudulent, they are no different from any other nationals if not better than others all over the world. Our own LEADERS are always the problem, They are not LEADERS or ones with VISION.

They will have tapped the huge human natural resources in Nigeria for the betterment of the country.

May God in his infinte mercies bless us and make us better people in whatever we may be lacking including discpline and fraud free.

If we are thinking of logic and scientifically, yes, Nigera will never catch up or be like Ameriac or the UK.


But with God all things are possible. God does not apply law of logic and science, he works miracoulously, and my own faith and instinct tells me something will happen that will speed the progress of Nigeria at a super lever not imaginable at our wildest dream.

I will give you 2 examples to support my point.

DUBAI- It is less than 40 years, it is even better than America, they grow things artificailly, Ice Rink for example in the Desert, some unbelievable development. World first 7 stars hotel, endless, it is referred to Heaven on earth.

GSM phone- this is basically the begining of God's wisdom when the man's ended. MKO Abiola was reported/alledged to have been given 800 million (when money was indeed money 1 to 1) to fix Nigeria Land line as the then boss of ITT. That project was never completed. That is man logic for you.

What happens, God took over from the failed logic of human being, then comes GSM, even people in the village has 2 or 3 now, infact in few years time , everything will be done fron mobile phone and will be recharged from solar.

So, impropably as it may look or sound, I actually believes Nigeria wii be world class in our own time. How God is going to do it I don't know but he will surely do it.

The only insight  I can see is that God will use the young one's in collaborrations with the adult to turn things around.

We had the Egyptian empire, The romans, The British Empire, now the American, then the Chineese amd INdians and soon it will be the Nigerian empire., what year I can tell you

God is more than able to do it when he is ready and he will do just for him to show that he is God and that theres is nothing impossible for him

Men headship of the family is a divine order,and even when we try to twist as human beings the logic falls down.

God is God of order and peace.

The woman feminist things are carried out in some part by some abused women(by some mad men) and also in part by some evil oriented women who wanted to hijack the work of God.

Irrespective of what a woman is or may become, the spiritual head remains with the man. An honest woman would know this and accept it. mothers, grandmothers has rebel against this for generation and they have always fail because it is God ordination.

One of the contributor gave an example of being the boss at work, the other will take orders or they are fired.

Being the spiritual head carries so much responsibility so it is not just a question of being the man. God will never ask a women anything if things went wrong in the home.

God ask woman to submitt to their husband as the head .Has also christ is the head of the church. In everything there is the head. period, and in human relation the male is always the head, even in animals when mating.etc

If God want the so called equalty he will create Adam and Steve or Eve and Eva.

Work for women and high flying income superwoman started just at the turn of last century during the course of the first world War 1 when there are shortge of manpower.

At the end of the day, it is 50.1 and 49.9 thing, if both men and women disagree, the authority is for the man to have the final say and also take the consequences if he is wrong. But God said to the man to love his wife, that means to provide and protect her and not abuse her.

This so called modern age, see a lot of women in the west abusing their partner or husband and using law which is meant to protect innocent women as sword.

It is either we are with the word of God and accept it wholeheartdly or continue in our foolish way.

I am not sure you got the right picture, the photograpgh itself look like Umar Musa Yar adua and his wife, with their child.

You will notice that the lady is wearing matriculation or convocation dress, I don't recall Umar yardua mother attending university or something like that.

Ninety something percent of people have good mothers whether you are a man or woman.

Those good mothers will never abadon you at all times, there are so many reasons for it but the most obvious is that they rather die than see their child or children die or suffer.

In wife or husband most and majority of love's are conditional, no more for better for worse, infact even in those good old days it is still limited.

Now, with greatest of respect to our woman especially the pretty ones, they hardly think they should persevere when challenges happens to their man. some of them may use justification that the man will go and marry another woman and be gone in a second.

So, men naturally will love their mothers more and confide in her until his wife start to take the roles of the mother and it is clear that she would die for her husband, majority of men(not the stupid ones) will do anything for her. They can see a woman that will do everything for him.

And there are lot of women, who are just green fingers, as soon as things are no more jolly, they are gone like a fly in the wind.

So behind every succesful man is a good woman(not just a woman) occassionally, the man may be lucky to have his mother and his wife. that man will propably inherit the kingdom of God. Even the Bible said that he who find a virtures woman find favour in the sight of God.

All that the woman(in this case the wife is to be prayerful) and things will happen, she would be a  blessing in her own rights. Example Hilary clinton despite the shame and humilation of her  husband, she look at her daughter and the big picture, a lot of our nigerian women will be gone. see where she is today, enjoying the attention and support of the most powerful man on earth and will soon become the most powerful women on earth on her own right. That is worth being there and perseverance does to you.

God will always bless a supportful spouse whether or not the husband or wife appreciate it.

My point is taht the wife can be the number one supporter of the husband and make him succefull and only a minority foolish men will not remember that.

As for downfall of man, this are the speciality of few wicked woman, they are evil possesed in their own right, that is their mission, even if the man is as good as gold, it matters not.

God will save us from such women and save our son's from such women, our mothers , sisters and daughters, nieces etc by the power of the almighty will not turn to such evil.

Continue to love your spouse irrespective and pray for them for them to know that unconditional love.

TALKING ABOUT SOLUTIONS

it appears he is not reading what I and some others have said on this thread, off course the criticism is about how daft to pay armed bandit 'bribes' to get them to do what is illegal and criminal act in the first place thereby rewarding crime and encouraging law abiding citizen of either the niger delta and beyond that crime pays.

The solution I for one offers is that the govt should assume that there is 1000 'militant, armed banditt, rogues' etc in each local govt. so govt invest 1billion each rather than given 1000 people 1 million each.

That sum 1 billion will go along way to alleviate , if not solve dramatically the problem of the people.

In the end, good leadership will get on with the work of looking after the country and not bow to armed bandits

Every relationship must start with some foundation.

If you are not religious and just go with the flow, fine you can cohabite today and tommorrow 'move on' as they say in the west. But if your foundation is based on a christian home, then cohabitation before marriage is non starter

The more you think about why the bible said it is not right is that with marriage you will have a 'life contract' and if you were to be christian or a roman catholic or jew, it may be extremely diffcult to break that contract.

To be quite frank, you should avoid cohabiting before you are married at any costs (very exceptionally) for people that live in the West, financial pressure but what happens if one the other person is not there, you will still manage either to rent your own place or stay with friends.

If you live by yourselves before you get married,, you are able to reflect on the person while he/she not there and be sure he/she is the right person. You don't want to cohabitte as many men/women on and off before you are sure.

The bottom line is do pray to God and find out if the person is the right person for you. If yes it will be hard but wait until you get married and you both belong to each other, the idea of space is a selfish feminist thing and any man advocating it has some games he wants to play

if you will have to go out and the samething for the man with your friends from time to time okay but 'space' or too much of it, may encourage things that will destroy the relationship.
