I want my own national cake then. Since Nigerians are too dumb to act.
That same mindset is responsible for; power outage, unemployment, hundreds of untarred roads, open sewers, which are factors known to be well affiliated with the profit oriented organisation called Nigeria! |
There's not much to be envied in this man's past. I doubt he came from a very wealthy background, from all indications, he just seem to have woken up a billionaire on a funny Saturday morning, now who does that?. . . . ------ Was a part time computer operator at Baton Rouge & Trust Company, Louisiana in 1977. ------- Financial Analyst at IMB in 1980 -------- Head of Corporate Finance department at Merchant Bank of Africa in 1987 to 1990 . . .and now, he owns a bank, and he's currently valued at over 600 million dollars where's the missing dots? Where did he obtain the capital with which he started Zenith Bank?. . .all fingers point at the national cake! |
Kenyy:What in floppy-oh-hell's name are you spewing about? . . It beggars belief how deluded and completely insane some of you are. Corps Members are the patriotic Nigerians, you ídiot!. . More than half the percentage of those posted to the North are serving as teachers in ill-equipped schools and under dilapidating conditions, several of them get paid peanuts in return, and as if that's not enough, they get slain by the animals residing in those regions. I'm betting your fat úgly árse is just sitting somewhere completely immune from the post electoral crises, banging away hopelessly at your keyboard. Corpers are humans too, you ídiot, they deserve their fundamental right to life even though their sole crime was to have commit themselves to serving a hapless nation! |
It won't be a surprise. Rumour has it that Tinubu has mortgaged the SW in exchange for the slots of Minister of Petroleum, Attorney-General, EFCC boss and some oil blocks + a shot at the Presidency in 2015. GEJ is said to have convinced him with the argument that ', OBJ is your enemy, not PDP'and Tinubu is so dáft to have believed this, so much so, that he offered the same Lagos he's been struggling to hold for more than 12 years on a cheap skate? common people, let's apply some common sense, let's stop peddling the rumors we listen to while having beers with touts, on Nairaland, there are intellectuals here who really do feel disgusted by statements that demonstrates no rational thought! |
Not a good idea, trust me, i know! |
:-x :-x

@OP You cannot sue Buhari or Bakare as neither your civil rights nor those or your close relatives has been directly breached by the duo. The families of the victims can however sue the federal government for negligence, pointing to the inciteful statements made by opposition parties as evidence and insisting that the state had a lot of opportunity to respond adequately to safety concerns that such statement raises. The primary responsibility of the government is to protect the integrity of the constitution and the lives and properties of citizens |
murtalaa:For the sakes of we the uniformed, could you give examples of at least one country in Africa and another in Europe that have adopted Sanusi's reforms and borrowed his ideas?. . . .I will bet my apple juice you couldn't find one! Sanusi is just a civil servant who has performed extremely well in his role, if the members of the NASS or the President blew a whistle, his job is finished, his supposed influence is gone and the wheel goes on! My point is, it's only sensible to say a man is influential if he could get millions of people both locally and globally to do his bidding effortlessly and not because of the powers that come with his office. Literary speaking, how many people do you suppose would be willing to take a bullet for Sanusi?. . , In comparison, how many do you suppose could commit suicide if Justin Beiber had an headache? |
just wondering if this dude is still laughing |
This is just a crappy hogwash compiled by an editor who is oblivious of the meaning to the word "Influential". Sanusi is an achiever, YES!. . . . . influential? yes, but not very! Justin Bieber, who occupies a 35th position on the list is arguably more influential that Sanusi, . . .Sanusi occupies an office which provides him with powers to make economical decisions, just like any other CBN governor across the globe. . .Justin Beiber on the other hand could have more than a million teenage girls eating uncooked beans for breakfast if all he did was mention through his facebook or twitter page that he loved eating uncooked beans for breakfast. Surprisingly too, the editor placed William and Kate Middleton on 36th. . . .seriously? If kate Middleton wore a dress she bought at a high street shop to an occasion, before nightfall of that day, the store is most likely to run out of stock, and it doesn't matter just how expensive the dress was, now that's what i call influential. |
dasa:. . . . and this what some people call rational thinking! |
Every effort spent, every tears shed, every penny lost, in a bid to make Nigeria a better place, is always almost a wasted resource! The country is doomed, live with it, there is no point trying to fix it! |
. . . it doesn't require much intelligence to ask why the chief of defense is allowed to keep his job while the minister of interior was sacked. the fingers point at politics, most likely, the dude was not supportive of the President's rerun ambition. only if we didn't have a slowpoke for a president! |
Nigeria can never be fixed! This is just a typical case of power misuse, abuse and a flagrant disregard for due process. How can a young boy be facing murder charge for pelting a campaign convoy with sachet water? someone somewhere is definitelty m'ad |
@Sun of god WTF?? you just got me spilling hot chocolate all over my desk! Hopefully i won't get fired for laughing like an i'diot at work |
Political Naivity? dude, he's a General! |
denzel2009:Peharps that's what her latest crime is, the average Nigerian is said to be too dumb and will never recognise sarcasm even if it's wearing a dress and bore a name |
One thing for sure is that she's way more intelligent that most of these m'orons screaming for her blood. I could point to more than five different posts where the original poster and several others had demonstrated unbelivable folly here on Nairaland, and now they feel it's in their place to be the Judge? |
omanzo02:Quit being an ídiot! |
Sign a Post dated letter? erhm, i wouldn't do that! Looks like this goodluck of a man has got some other 'elements' working for him besides the luck. I see the hands of "Awon iya osoronga, Awon iya t'on fi kondo ta eyin" |
This is not even true, i googled it and found nothing like it anywhere, i wonder where the Poster got a copy of the report from. Peope should stop feeding us with balderdash on NL abeg |
I don't understand, why would someone want to leave a growing party for a falling one? |
PapaBrowne:I agree with the boldfaced portion of your post. What i must however stress is that Nigerians, not necessarily the President, are the ones playing a bigger role in ensuring that their votes counted. Advancements in communication systems provided Nigerians with the right platform to monitor the entire process, even locals without these systems, stayed put at polling booths to ensure that each vote counted. Yes, we must commend the President for not being a crook by using his office to influence the outcome of the elections, but that said, the glory belong to all those who voted and protected their votes by ensuring their votes counted!. . . .The President must not use this as a scoring point! Perhaps the President might have earned some praise by ensuring that lives were not lost in the process, afterall he's the Chief Security Officer of state! |
Witless dolts who think their President deserves a thank you card for organizing an almost fair election. Nigerians have lost all sense of self worth, I don't even see anyone Praising the youth corpers who in the face of obvious dangers judging by the incessant bombings across the country, have refused to give up the struggle for the survival of democracy. If anything, my million thanks goes to them, not some clueless leader who had simply done what he was 'selected' to do! . . . . . . .It's almost like sending a thank you card to the thief for not robbing you at night. |
The term Powerful is relative in this case For some, the office they occupy weilds a lot of power, for others, they are mostly influential figures and lack real powers! If being Influential is synonym to being powerful then i don't see any reason why Adeboye couldn't be on the list. . . .The man could influence thousands of Nigerians and African alike with a few statements, something the combination of most political colossus will never be able to achieve. All that asides, WTF is Micheal Bloomberg doing on the list? Besides being a Mayor and being a successful businessman, what sorts of major powers does he wield? |
My projection is simple, we are looking at a landslide victory for ACN governors in the southwest! I particularly have a tingling sensation that Fashola will defeat Dosumu on a ratio of 10 to 1, the trend will most likely continue through the Presidential election. I can't see any more rational way to explain why people like OBJ, Daniel, Saraki, Bankole etc are losing in their hometown! |
Your opinion stinks! |
The generator has gone off in Otukpo LG Head Quarters collating point, Collation still continues with torch lights and phones. |
