Mine is they should drop pointers on how the secure those jobs with high figures. Help a brother
If someone tells you he earns high salaries and you find out he's a pilot for instance, what pointer do you expect him to give you to be able to secure such jobs?

Go on google, type "high paying jobs that are in demand" from the search results you will see skills you need to secure high paying jobs.

Get the skills, go back to google and search for those same jobs and apply.

My guy that is the pointer you need o.

If she says don't worry...... Never ask..... Nah she go carry her mouth ask you, why you are not worried, about what she wants to say .......😉

Once she tables her financial worries....... Give her also your own financial problems, but triple version......😄

Financial worries go cancel financial worries......😜😁
I needed this advice like 10 years ago 🤣

These days...

She: don't worry
Me: ok if you say so

I believe there are guys out there that still fall for this.

Why's everyone so rude suddenly? Or everyone has been emboldened to show their rudeness? How am I building anticipation? I only got an offer and will share when I think I have all the details besides I'm not under obligation to give you the information so I don't understand why you quoting me to say this.

I think everyone just needs to calm down, we can do better here.
Chill...it's not about being rude, I just don't like someone trying to create unwarranted suspense or anticipation except in movies.

Lie to me that you didn't feel good that some guys above are already begging for the information you have.

My point is if you were not ready to talk don't start the talk. Infact I was chatting with someone on whatsapp for about 15 minutes and the person goes "e get wetin I wan follow you discuss later" and my response was if you want to talk, talk; otherwise just wait till the later and talk. No need to tell me you want to talk to me later.

Remember those days that girls will say I have something to say but don't worry, you will be begging her to talk only for her to raise money issues 😀, and since na you beg her to talk, you don dey tight corner be that.

And just so you know, there is nothing special in whatever lesson you think you have learnt; the way you learnt it and got the mortgage, others will learn it and get their mortgage so I repeat if you want to talk, talk, if you don't want then so be it.

Thanks. I learnt so much in the Mortgage process that I will definitely share here someday. So much has changed in how Visa holder's applications are being handled that we need to be aware of early enough.
If you want to talk; talk. Stop trying to build anticipation. Make we beg you first abi make we make the mistake first?

Please does anyone have experience with this Telematics AKA blackbox that reduces car insurance premium.

abeg advise me
I have been using it no issues.

The aim is to check if you will drive carelessly, will you drive carelessly? No.

Things they check are overspending, harsh acceleration, harsh breaking, use of phone while driving, sharp turning.

In the one I use, the app came with a score of 100, if I commit any of the offences listed above during a trip, they deduct 1 mark. They will call my attention when my score drops below 30. Each offence resets after 2 weeks. It means that before they will call my attention, I would have committed a combination of these offenses 70 times across about 70 trips within 2 weeks. Infact anybody that does that needs to go back to driving school.

I have been driving the way I would drive without it. I will say go for it.

Hi guys, I went to London from Scotland to capture for my international passport on 23rd of August . It was stated on one of the forms that collection date is 20th of October but up till this moment I have not received my passport. Please does any know how I can go about collecting my passport?
I did my capturing in London 26th of June. The passport was delivered two days ago 24th Oct.

Hi guys, please i need your input in this.
There are different categories of job

1) There are jobs that pays £10/hr, there are jobs that pay £20/hr, there are jobs that pay £25/hr and so on

2) There are jobs that pays little at the start and it increases with experience, while others do not increase with experience.

Meaning if you have a job paying £25/hr for instance, even without packing extra shifts, you will earn more than someone working £10/hr and is parking shift left, right and center.

My advice to immigrants is instead of packing shifts upandan with the intent of having money, look for that job that will pay you more with less work.

In other words; in your situation, rather than asking for a job that will give you opportunity for more shifts or that will have an understanding manager, ask for skills that are in demand that pays well and has good prospects, use the little spare time you have to develop those skills and with the same hours as you are working now, you will earn more.

Don't come for my head that I haven't mentioned any skills, this is my own contribution.

Enough said...

Who ever wants to consider what will happen in the event of a crashed marriage when he wants to buy sweet and biscuits should do so.

When you have a gun, you will have a reason to use it...whatever your plan is, you will see a reason to execute.

Leave the guy...when we were discussing life insurance the other time, he said he won't get one (because he was thinking positive o). As if the person that spoke about life insurance was wishing him bad 😀

And on a serious note, if not for regulations, how many people for dey do car insurance if we want to be honest?

So who gave you the idea that we are planning for marriage to breakdown? This is like me telling you about car insurance policy in the UK and you get angry accusing me of planning for you to get accident
Talking about insurance...life insurance protects your family from potentially devastating financial losses that could result if something happens to you.

Remember when you said you won't get life insurance because you will setup your children well (something like that), in other words, you are not planning to leave your family in an 'anyhow' state so no need for life insurance, same thing here, I'm not planning for divorce so no need to make such preparations.

Honestly some people here are funny,
we are talking about what happens when marriage breaks down in the western world and some people are getting worked up about it.

You can be the best husband or wife and work hard to make your marriage work but if your better half thinks otherwise then you have to face the reality.
The point is, plan for a successful marriage and hope it does not break down, if it breaks down, so be it. Don't plan for a broken marriage and hope it becomes successful.

The point remains, no reasonable person would go into marriage, expecting a divorce.......

You could have put in all the hardwork, prayed, fasted etc etc...... But, do you know the real intentions of the other party........

Keep shaking your head....... 😭😂
Some folks on this thread are going into marriage expecting a divorce that's why they are taking all necessary precautions. 😑

Well like your statement, not all persons are reasonable.

Maybe your company stingy...

Perhaps they are not stingy, maybe it's not in their policy to do Christmas party but some folks just feel it will be nice to do hence the contribution.

My company organise party...when I say party, I mean party. I shock the first time I attended see strippers dey perform at different strategic points in the event center. Different live artists too positioned at different points.

Stamp duty on a second property is huge.

Do people buy second or additional properties?

How do you feel using almost a mortgage deposit to pay stamp duty?

Honestly. Imagine a family where husband and wife are supposed to be cooperating in full harmony and transparency but husband is always guiding* and wife is applying ogbon sodiki too. How will there be trust and progress, and will it not become a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Of course there's a place for awareness, but letting it occupy your mind and shaping your life choices around the chance of divorce is very likely to lead to divorce, in my view.

But to each his own as always sha.
Instead of to enjoy life, the two of them will be using brain for each other 😀.

I use Astonish (sold in Asda) cheap and works magic.

Don't be tempted to spray too much, light spray is ok, just to touch the yeye thing thats all.

Can this cover a two bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom, 3 stores and a sitting room ? My apartment is quite big and i got a small dehumidifier (1700ml) that only does little. I don clean tire
Stop cleaning, use mould spray to spray the affected areas, works like magic and cost about £1.

Dehumidifier works best in enclosed areas so even if you buy a bigger one, you will have to move it around and close where it's working.

I called this builder to reserve a property, told them I have a DiP, they said okay but asked that I call their mortgage advisor, that their mortgage advisor needs to see my DiP before they can go ahead with the reservation.

After speaking with their mortgage advisor, they didn't ask for my DiP, they carried their own assessment and are giving me the same lender as the former advisor.

I want to go with the former advisor, should I insist or play along?

What should one look out for when buying a new build?

Also, those houses close to the road, that the door is close to footpath, does passing cars really disturb? I'm looking at either that type or one at the end of a close. I feel the one at the end of a close will be too quiet because it's not facing any houses, just facing a field/park.

Finally why are rooms in new builds too small. Infact I see those 3 bedrooms houses as 2 and half bedrooms.

Even with the tumbling niara?
You seem to be looking at appreciation against Forex. Isolate property valuation from naira devaluation.

For instance, if a house was 1 million naira last year and this year it is 2 million naira, that is 100% appreciation. How much dollar was last year and this year is another story. Except such appreciation was as a result of currency devaluation in which case the appreciation is just an Illusion.

I used Muslims because when the far right refer to immigrants trying to change their culture, they usually are referring to Muslims.

I also used Yorubaland as an example of peaceful coexistence because you can get both Christians and Muslims in one family. That is rare in the East and North
Well...I didn't have Muslims or religion in mind.

Even on Nairaland here, you'll see pro Russians fighting tooth and nail to get US or UK visa but won't even attempt Russian visa. Something like that.

I think we have to be careful about repeating right wing talking points.

Give me an example of a country where this is happening currently.

The right wing is no place for people of colour because if they win, you with your ebony skin which you cannot take off, will be the first target.
We live well with Muslims in Nigeria( Yorubaland) why is it different in the UK?
Who is talking about Muslims?
Why do you have to live well with Muslims in Nigeria (Yorubaland)? Why not Muslims in Nigeria (everywhere)?
Who said it is different in UK or are you not living well with Muslims in UK?

There are different ideologies (not only religious ideologies), but since you have asked for an example, in Canada, the Muslim community protested the sharing and eating of pork in schools, the Education ministry asked them to go to any of the many countries where pork is prohibited in schools.
