talk2hb1: I think the only limitation you have is self imposed limitation, you will be hurting yourself by not going after your goal. If you are really interested in programming call me I will send you programming video tutorial free on C++, python, Java, PHP, even pygame. But you need to have a system that you can use to practice, or better still clinch with business centers around you by helping them do some of their work and in return you have access to their system for your own practice or find a friend that has one. Wishing you Luck in your programming journey, and more importantly welcome to the world of programming.
I'm intersted too. Ps here is my email. vislabraye@yahoo.com.
How long would it take one to become a guru in programming.
What language is most marketable and in what area is it used. Ty.

This is not just a victory, the score line was amazing. Its been long since SE scored more than 4 goals in a game.
Its a great morale booster.

Politics › Re: Police Shoot Sales-Girl Dead In Abuja While Demolishing Illegal Structures by vislabraye(m): 7:15pm On Oct 13, 2012
There's so much violence in this country. Unnecessary wickedness and blood shed.

I hope the authorities deal with this issue because its becoming too much.
And those clamouring for state police shld think again because it moght be worse.
Politics › Re: Police Shoot Sales-Girl Dead In Abuja While Demolishing Illegal Structures by vislabraye(m): 3:27pm On Oct 13, 2012
You can imagine what would happen if there's state police.
I don't know whether a demon is controlling the police force. This is the third time I'm hearing of police killing an innocent person in a space f one month
Nairaland General › Re: Python Swallows Livestock As A Result Of The Flooding by vislabraye(m): 2:19am On Oct 13, 2012
I won't be surprise if the chicken was used to bait the python. Wow.
You loose a chicken and gained a python. At least one doesn't need to swallow cockroaches to win this one.

Romance › Re: Is Religion A Barrier In Any Relationship? by vislabraye(m): 9:28pm On Oct 12, 2012
Don't marry outside your religion except you want to compromise. How will you raise your children. One perso would be saying Jesus is Lord, another would say Jesus is not Lord.
How would the child reconcile that?

Culture › Re: Who Is An Igbo/what Makes Someone An Igbo? by vislabraye(m): 1:03pm On Oct 12, 2012
Abagworo: Do you actually believe all the Igbos you've met are from one origin or born of Igbo parents? Ethnicity is actually a thing of the mind and not a thing of blood. An Igbo is anybody that believes he is Igbo and has the ethnic consciousness. A typical example on nairaland is "agbotaen" and "Ogbuefi" who are both from Ika(Igbo speaking part of Delta). While Ogbuefi believes he's 100% Igbo, Agbotaen dislikes being associated with Igbo.

Even someone from the heart of Igboland like Oraukwu, Nnewi and Orlu could dissociate himself and children from Igbo if he so wishes while a white European like Andre's friend recognizes himself as Igbo.
Are you saying that if you were born by Ibo parents but don't like Ibo that means you're not Ibo? Very funny.
Tomorrow Michael Essien would claim he's Ibo when he's not yet a Nigerian.

222Martins: My brother, i doubt if you are a reader. How can you spill such rubbish? Bill Gates wrote "The road ahead" and "Business at the speed of thought." Okay, let me list a few successful entrepreneurs who are authors:

Tim Ferris - The four hour work week
Donald Trump - Think big and kiss a.s.s and so many others
Robert Kiyosaki - Rich dad poor dad
Felix Dennis - How to get rich
Richard Branson - Losing my virginity
J. Paul Getty - How to be rich
Seth Godin - Purple cow
Could you give us a hint of your business/enterprise? And how you applied the cash quadrant?
I bliv in facts and objectivity.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Hezbollah Claim Drone shot-down By Israel by vislabraye(m): 11:41am On Oct 12, 2012
Iran is showing small shakara. I think its also a way of trying to tell Israel that they're battle ready.
But never underestimate Israel. Their technology is still one of the best in the world.
However Israel has a lot to loose from war. The country is just to beautiful and develop. Just imagine what happens if Intel is destroyed.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Visits Flood-stricken Areas by vislabraye(m): 4:19am On Oct 12, 2012
It looks as if its partly man made. The govt was even thinking about dredging the river Niger. May be they've carried out the first stage.
The root cause should be investigated.
A lot of money was spent on ecological funds.
Business › Re: 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' Author Files For Bankruptcy by vislabraye(m): 3:27am On Oct 12, 2012
Wallie: I know people are going to attack me for this but the guy is a fraud; however, he’s not personally broke. The bankruptcy filed was for one of his corporations to avoid paying a $24 million judgment against him in a suit filed by one of his early partners in crime. Thanks to all the mugus that bought his books, he's personally worth about $80 million. He made his money from all the books you guys bought and not based on any advise in his books!

Here's a detailed critic of the guy and the claims his books.
http://www.johntreed.com/Kiyosaki.html#bothsides
Exactly my point. The book is full of platitudes. The advice weren't bad themselves it is just that there is really nothing new from it.
Can you imagine someone telling you how to be a successful business man but has never ran a business venture?
That's who Kiyosaki is. Why don't we listen to guys like Bill Gates, Trump or even Mark Zuckerberg?
Business › Re: 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' Author Files For Bankruptcy by vislabraye(m): 12:10am On Oct 12, 2012
You guys really don't read threads before posting, do you?
So his filing for bankruptcy is a strategic move right? Either way, people would loose confidence in him.
Can a very buoyant business file for bankruptcy? If truly he's not actually broke then his integrity is at stake.
Business › Re: 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' Author Files For Bankruptcy by vislabraye(m): 12:00am On Oct 12, 2012
His rich dad adviced him to do so.
One of the reasons I'm tired of motivational speakers/life coaches is their theoritical approach to things.
I've heard a lot of bulls.hit from these people.
This Robert guy made more money from his books and speach about how to make money than any business he did. He doesn't understand the business world as well as the trader in Alaba market.
Politics › Re: Africans Should NOT Support Barack Obama by vislabraye(m): 5:05pm On Oct 11, 2012
When would Africa learn to be self sufficient and stop caring about America's political scenario?
Obama or whoever is looking at America's interest first. I wonder whether Germany or France would care less.
Romance › Re: "I Slept With My Best Friend’s Husband" by vislabraye(m): 3:22pm On Oct 11, 2012
See all the viewers. This story sounds madeup. I remember someone posted how she use catfish to cook egusi soup for her husband and then used the goat meat for the the soup to make pepper soup.
Its so humorous.
Nairaland General › Re: Shark Attacks Woman In Delta by vislabraye(m): 3:10pm On Oct 11, 2012
But are sharks no salt water animals? Could they be found in Rivers?
The bite of a shark is very great O. It would have broken her bones.

If hipopotamus could be found in Benue may be kangaroo could be seen in Ogun state. We have very thick forests and wide area of pristine lands. I would be surprise to see even Rhino. Lol.

Flying plane is not the same as driving a car. Do they expect the pilot to just swerve and maneuvre as if its a bicycle?
The guys in the control towers should be blamed. God help us in this country.
Life means nothing because it comes and go like that.

What actually turns me off abt some banks is their network. It could be very frustrating when you want to withdraw with your ATM and u see can't dispense cash.
I haven't yet encountered any rude staff. More like sluggish staffs and poor services.

I don't think its all about eating late. I eat late yet I have flat stomach.
Beer contributes to it, fatty foods and sedentary lifestyle. Funny thing is that they think its a status thing.
