I keep reiterating it that any woman who died because they are married to wife beaters or cheaters have themselves to blame,(God will not exonerate you of hell fire with the excuse of i was battered to death or contacted terminal disease from the husband you gave me,meanwhile the husband can ask for forgiveness and still make heaven,so who losehuh)enough of the pity party,it has not done anybody any good.

A happy home is not by force,if he is not working towards it,then it cannot happen.
Walk away with your life,at least you will be alive to take care of your kids

I read a post the other day on Facebook, how a woman died after sustaining serious injuries from the battering her husband gave her...She bleed to death right in the house,he took her dead body to the hospital only for the doctor to confirm she died on arrival. Family members said they already asked her to come back home, but she kept going back because of the children, won't the children suffer worst fate now that she is deadhuh

I have no sympathetic words for you OP,hope you are wiser.Walk away while you can still breath, else your body will be carried away.

RIP to your aunty
I think you are a bit harsh, here. You don't know the details of the marriage. It's not just easy for a woman to walk away if her husband loves her. Yes, it is possible for him to love her and still cheat. What happened to her could happen to anyone else.

I slammed my brakes hard that the tires squealed till I stopped just shy of hitting that car alongside.

I wound down my window and was like...... "Madam, what are you.... " she suddenly replied me " Shut up!!! you're stupid!!! fool!!!.... ".

I was in shock at her reaction and ignorance..... I just kept quiet and waved her on.

Wait u will sone see
Ps whats the price of a bag of rice today ? From simple economics, we know that when the supply is high, the demand is low which in turn affects the price. But what we have today is counterintuitive. That's why I think the government is full lies and propaganda.

RomanceRe: Not All Relationships End In Marriage, But... - Bamisepeters 'blog by vislabraye(m): 8:03pm On Nov 10, 2016
bamisepeters:
What you will say within your mind immediately you see the topic of this post will be "i know already, i have seen many".

This goes beyond that as many needs to see positive reasons beyond separation or breakup.

I wouldn't like to bring destiny into my write up, but as a philosopher, even if i don't want to, i would have done it before realising i don't want to.

No matter how hard we try, some relationship will not last to reach the altar because no one can cheat destiny.

At times, we cry when someone we love dearly break our heart and to get the emotion and psychological effects back to shape takes time.

During that trial period many will say i am not sure i will do this again, meanwhile it only takes few moment and you are in another one before you know it.

It is not easy for me to say this too, but for a relationship that is at the verge of reaching the final destination which could not, lessons from the relationship can go a long way to make your next relationship a success as your last relationship has built you for the person you are now or to still be with.

If you are in any relationship now please don't feel bad about this as it is reality and i am not saying something will happen to your relationship in case you are determined to seal it with that person.

It is not easy though but the truth is, we must still forge ahead as break up is not the end of the world.

One thing i always say to those in relationship is that "if anything will lead to your break-up try not be the subject, that even if the deaf hears the reason, the other person will be blamed"...

..." and not because you are not the subject, you must now announce from house-to-house your ex caused it". Just let the sleeping dog lie and move on as a better being.

Later, that person who is at fault of the break-up will regret and learn from that mistake which will make him or her better in his/her new relationship while you are also cautious in your new relationship not to make that same mistake your ex made because it can go either ways, and this will make you better also.

And if you both separate on a mutual ground, then, the lesson you both learnt from the experiment will be too good to be neglected in your new relationship.

A bad boyfriend/girlfriend to so many people are now good husband/wife and mother to their spouse and kids now, so forget your heart was broken by someone, the fact is just that you were made to meet each other to learn for you to be the best in your real home.

I wouldn't say you should not cry in case it happens, please cry, but your errors in that past relationship should go out with the tears.

Many great homes you see today, the couple once dated someone else before meeting the one they are now calling their husband/wife and some pretty pet names you never knew existed.

Break-up is not easy, and to get over it might be an herculean task, however, while in a relationship do have it at the back of your mind that not all relationship ends in marriage, but you have to see the positives in the break-up which should help your future relationship instead of dwelling on the past and expect the restoration miracle.

Life is a lesson, the more you live the more you learn and the wiser you become.

Foreign AffairsRe: 5 Reasons Why Nigerians Don't Like Donald Trump - Ovoko.com.ng by vislabraye(m): 7:48pm On Nov 09, 2016
helphelp:
Trump laid an extra emphasis on the Nigerians who he referred to as ‘corrupt’ and further promised to send away because they have taken all the jobs meant for honest hard working Americans.
He said: “To Make America great again, we need to get rid of the Muslims, Mexicans and the Africans, especially the Nigerians. They take all our jobs, jobs meant for honest hard working Americans, and when we don’t give them the jobs, the Muslims blow us up.”
“We need to get the Africans out. Not the blacks, the Africans. Especially the Nigerians. They’re everywhere. I went for a rally in Alaska and met just one African in the entire state. Where was he from? Nigeria! He’s in Alaska taking our jobs. They’re in Houston taking our jobs. Why can’t they stay in their own country? Why? I’ll tell you why. Because they are corrupt.
“Their Governments are so corrupt, they rob the people blind and bring it all here to spend. And their people run away and come down here and take our jobs! We can’t have that! If I become president, we’ll send them all home. We’ll build a wall at the Atlantic Shore. Then maybe we’ll re-colonize them because obviously they did not learn a damn thing from the British!”
Obama himself does not have a better opinion of Nigerians and Nigeria. You can judge a man by his actions. If he thinks well about Nigeria, why didn't he deem it fit to visit our country at least once ?
Bush, Clinton all came to our country at least once. But Obama never gave a hoot. He also refused to sell weapons to us in the time of need. I can never be hapoy with anyone who disrespects our great nation. It's not about whether he supported Buhari or not. But it's the utter disdain he has for us.
As for Trump, I really don't care. The average white is a racist so I don't expect much from either him or Clinton. Let America also experience some change.

Most white people are racists; when they see a black person they will smile from ear to ear as if they like you, yet in their gatherings they call blacks Niggers and other racial slurs. At work they act like they hate trump but still voted for him. Anyone who votes for a man who claimed President Obama isn't American is nothing but a racist. Russia has finally found a puppet in the white house to string along.
But most of these whites voted in Obama huh . America is made up of predominantly whites and without their votes, Obama would never have been president.
But I really don't feel for Obama or Clinton. This is the era of change. Let them also enjoy it. Afterall, the same Obama doesn't have regards for Nigeria huh

Uhmmm. Lots my brother.
Last month, I got interviewed for a teaching position, a member of the panel whom I presumed to have been consulted was just asking me software and website development related questions. Technical ones o. It got to a stage I wanted to ask how those questions relate with the position I applied for.

At another interview, before the interview commenced, we were made to wait outside in the scorching sun. Then it began to rain, thought they would ask us in, for where? We had to stand in the corridor of a building nearby. In that condition, I swore I was not gonna work there even if they offered me the job.
When the interview started, none of the panelists apologised. The so called Hr was just cutting into mine and the others conversation.

I must add this, just last week, I had another interview, oh! it was wonderful. The panellists were well mannered and respectful. All applicants were even served snacks before being served lunch.
At the end of the day, did u get the job ?

I've had my own experience with these HR people especially in schools.
I'll tell you the few I can remember,, not really in chronological order.

1. Was called for an interview in a school some years ago. After being made to wait for more than 3 hours, it finally got to my turn. Well, the lady was polite actually and asked some sensible questions. At the end of the day, I got the job. Left there though. I was later told that we were made to wait long in order to test out patience.

2. Got another school interview. As usual I had to wait for long. When it was time, I wrote the written test. Some tough maths questions. No scientific calculator allowed and couldn't use my phone calc. We had to solve not less than 60 obj questions and about 10 theory questions where one will have a, b, c and the a will have i, ii, iii...
After the test it was time for teaching practice. Some two clowns that were supposed HOD for maths dept asked me to solve problems in polynomial. I did not used the terminology they were used to and the kept asking a particular question. When I tried to solve a question they asked, they said "time up."
It was so stupid. Upon all the topics in maths/f. Maths, they only chose to access my knowledge on what they knew.

3. The last interview I received was conducted by a recruitment firm. It was held in Abuja. Those guys were professionals. Before the test commenced, we were asked to take a light refreshment. After the oral test, we had a buffet grin . And at the end of the day, I got the job. And that's where I am at the moment.

PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Alone Is To Blame For Nigeria's Recession, & The Way Forward by vislabraye(m): 10:54pm On Nov 04, 2016
AnonyNymous:
OP, please learn about the difference between the gross domestic product and federal government revenue.

GDP just measures the market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time. It includes both the public and private sector. If MTN makes profit, its part of our GDP. If Tasty Fried Chicken makes profit, its part of our GDP as well. All services rendered/goods produced in a country with a population as large as Nigeria's should easily dwarf the amount of crude oil made in comparison. That has nothing to do with the income the government makes.

Government Revenues refer to all receipts the government gets, including taxes, oil income, custom duties, revenue from state-owned enterprises, capital revenues and foreign aid.

Nigeria is Africa's largest oil exporter, and the world's 10th largest oil producer, accounting for more than 2.2 million barrels a day in 2011. Oil revenues totaled $50.3 billion in 2011 and generated 70 percent of government revenues.

http://www.resourcegovernance.org/our-work/country/nigeria

. . .and petroleum exports revenue represents over 90 per cent of total exports revenue.

OPEC|Nigeria http://www.opec.org/opec_web/en/about_us/167.htm
Agreed!!
If GDP and government revenue are different, does that mean there's no correlation. This government has blamed the fall in oil price for the low GDP and by extension, the recession.
PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Alone Is To Blame For Nigeria's Recession, & The Way Forward by vislabraye(m): 10:48pm On Nov 04, 2016
davidif:
Wrong! This post shows the lack of economics knowledge these days.

First of all, GEJ never produced oil a day in his life, that was the oil and gas companies.

Number 2, he never set oil prices neither that was the job of the market.

Thirdly, the oil and gas sector operates under the law of supply and demand which means that when demand for a product is high, th prices go up. in other words, things become more expensive when demand outpaces supply. Now how does this apply to the Naija oil industry? Well you see, when supply is high, prices plummet and that is what happened. When demand was high, oil prices went through the roof then when the Americans developed new ways of producing oil from there own soil there own demand for foreign oil dropped. In retaliation, the saudi's decided to flood the market with more oil so as to further lower prices prices thereby making oil unprofitable so as to put American oil explorers out of business by making it more difficult for them to make a profit. This and other factors are what lead to the price oil crashing down.

Yes, there are other factors involved like the embargo on Iranian oil being lifted allowing them also to sell their own oil has caused a saturation of oil in the market.

So giving GEJ credit for the oil market crashing is wrong on your part.

Lastly, you can't develop a long term by depending on a very volatile commodity like oil. It's foolishness. What Jonathan should have done when oil prices where high was to find a way to clamp down on corruption to boost the confidence of investors and build a sustainable and robust economy that would be able to withstand a crash in oil prices and he failed to do that. I am not saying Buhari is Franklin Roosevelt o, i am just calling a spade a spade.
You can imagine a president saying he will stabilise the oil price when he gets into power. And guess what ! Some zombies were supporting the statement.
You know, I'm tired of the blame game. This administration has spent too much time blaming everything and everybody but never themselves.
