HilcomTech: 1) I made two separate requests to the forum only for you (in a sly manner) reply both requests telling me to contact you through your phone number. Why can't you post the information here like everyone is doing. Besides, other folks in the same situation can also benefit from such information because I have benefited a lot from other people's experience on this thread. I have also helped folks on this forum in my own little way without thinking of cornering and fleecing them of their hard earned money. You can keep hoarding your knowledge and shove it up your **se. Other non cunning members of this forum will help. Just watch and see.
2) Only an unintelligent person would not have noticed that my ID/monicker is suggesting I am someone in the field of technology and I am not responsible for your inability to earn PhDs You were too hasty in drawing conclusions. You could have contacted him first to hear what he has to say before concluding he is out to fleece you. Kingreign has helped a lot of people here. He is in abuja and I am in lagos. But once in a while, I chat him up on whtsapp on car issues and he gives me advice on what to do or ensure my mech does. I can even bet he does not know who it is that is typing this cause we are many he comes through for. So chill bro. |

Conner44: As usual the things to check are your tyres for damage, if all is okay there then move on to their balancing and alignment.
If it persists then there are many other things that can be wrong. But the two above are usually where to start from Many other things like? I have been suffering ths since last year sept. I changed complete hub and yet no reprieve. Yesterday I changed shaft. Still no solution. Mine occurs at lower speeds, when I move from rest or if I slow down and later wanna speed up. That is when I feel the wobble on my front passenger side. The matter don tire me. I have spent a lot to correct t that nonsense. Now I am hearing is because of the shaft I bought didn't include that part that enters the gear. I called the person who sold the shaft to my mechanic this morning and he said when my mechanic brought my complete axle abi shaft, he noticed that side that enters the gear has a small issue. That I have to pay another money for that part. That my car shares that part with CRV. My car is an acura tsx 2008 model. Jceesquare and conner44, abeg make una put mouth for this my matter. |

Car Talk › Re: Does Double Cell Radiator Consume More Fuel? by vivalavida(m): 6:34pm On Mar 12, 2023 |
SONDACURRENCY: Exactly , a lot of people don’t know the major work of the engine cooling system of a car engine and other engine but let’s focus the cooling system on the car engine . Let’s start from your car thermostat function and it’s relationship with the radiator and the team work they are both doing for your engine . In a sim play layman understanding; you start your car , your water pumps start working as the engine is working because the your engine belt runs through it also , now it passing the water in and out of the engine and through the thermostat in your engine , so your radiator absorbs the engine heat , retains it to help your car gets to its peak performance, ( every car need to be heated up to a certain level ) so when the heat is getting above recommended heat for the engine , the heat pressure pushes and compresses the thermostat which automatically triggers your fan to work , so now the thermostat gets back to it position the moment the heat is reduced and the fan stops working . Now it’s keeps your engine are a particular heat level , not to go too high or too low. Back to the reason your car consumes more fuel after listening to your road side mechanic who will have told you that 9ija is too hot and where the car is coming from is too cold so you don’t need the thermostat, or else your car will keep overheating lolz , fiam them don remove am and by pass your fan relay , INFACT that is the beginning of your car problem but you might not notice immediately. Yes when your car runs on below recommend temperature for your engine , it’s takes more fuel , my next post I will show you exactly how but let me focus on the one you will understand faster, I saw lots of post saying alternator charges the battery while fan get power from battery there for it has nothing to do with fuel lolz , INFACT is has everything to do with fuel , “have you had of battery over charging before “. What you are doing is making the alternator over work ,most times when your battery is fully charged your alternator stops charging it but you will never notice that because it’s does not work like your AC compressor that you see the physical cutting of power , that is the reason your battery don’t get overcharged and the moment your battery start over charging, that mean something is wrong with your alternator, in conclusion, you are making your alternator work too much by always charging the battery since the fan is always on there by take more tole on engine . There is another major important of thermostat a lot of people don’t know , immagine you driving on a raining day through flooded str , if your thermostat is working , the minute you enter flood , the engine temperature drops immediately and the fan will never pick Exept your AC is on ( why it’s always advisable to off your AC while driving through flood ) but what do you think happens when you connect your fan directly, it’s means your fan keep running inside flood and in most cases destroys the blades and in a long run the fan engine . Am a professional online mechanic, ask me any questions about car mechanical aspects. Learnt a lot from this. |

Imuetic: Hi, please my Corolla 2010 had vibration issues. I have changed all engine mounts, still vibrates. It doesn't vibrate when idle or on neutral. And it vribates more when the ac is on. When in traffic i always have to put the car on neutral. What more can i do please? Thanks When I had this issue with my car, I found out one of my fans was not working. Immediately they put a new fan, it stopped. Then if I was on motion, the ac works perfectly. But if I slow down or get into a traffic, my rpm starts fluctuating, the vibrations become much that I have to put off the AC. When i got to my mech after somedays, they discovered one fan wasn't working. I changed it and it stopped. |

It's possible they've knacked the hell out of your outer thyroid while removing the arm and the shock wave affected your rack. Is there no way for mechanics to work on suspensions without all these plenty knackings? Na so oyibo dey knack too? |

sgtponzihater1: Most definitely. It's only in Naija service every 3months. If you are not doing over 12k miles a year, why service every 3months and open opportunities for mechanics to temper with your ride? Do your research from the internet, it's the information age.
Cheers
PonziHater Remember not everyone uses full synthetic oil. Some are using semi-synthetic oil to service their vehicle. Will you advise someone using semi-synthetic oil to go one year without oil change even if the person isn't doing 12k miles per year? |
Car Talk › Re: How To Maintain A Car As A New Driver? by vivalavida(m): 1:47pm On Jan 28, 2023 |
sgtponzihater1: Congratulations on getting a new car. Ensure to have the car manual, you can download this online if you were not given a physical copy.
Service your car once a year. This could include changing the oil and filter. Rarely the transmission fluid. Don't fall for service every 3months gang.
Using coolant fluid in your radiator instead of water is way to go to avoid overheating. Watch YouTube videos about your vehicle.
Also you can get specific advice if you mention the brand.
All the best Service once a year? Haba bros |

adioolayi: Tinubu's outburst was targeted against his perceived intentional saboteurs within the distribution chains of fuel distribution and new Naira notes distribution.
Yes, the opposition have jumped on the statement, saying he was directing his speech to APC lead government...I agree.
But, just a two days ago, it was reported the President have to setup 14-member committee to look into the fuel scarcity and also directing law enforcement agents to deal with fuel hoarders. Meaning, the President also feels some people are deliberately sabotaging fuel distribution.
It means, Tinubu and President Buhari are on the same line of conclusion that there are saboteurs within the chains of distribution Same way Buhari is calling Tinubu Mr president is the same way boys call their padi sidechic our wife when they know she obviously has no chance.
