the songs are great. It's just her horrible singing voice that spoils everything. Her voice will scare a lion away.

I know Rice doesn't rank in the top ten or anything like that but It's still prestigious and in my opinion, underrated. It's pretty cheap for it's value too.

and I think your wrong about all you need being good SAT scores to get into Duke. How do you know? Do you go to Duke? Maybe you could tell me what it's like and all of that!

I know it's late but I heard her (omotola) songs just today 

They are really good songs but she sounds like she could use some voice training (especially @ the beginning of that "babygirl" song).

If I tell my mom about dates, she probably would start stalking me or something. That creeps me out.
I only told her I had some problems in my math class and she came to my school like 10 times in 2 weeks. That was just plain excessive.

I made my cake too. My mom was going to buy it but I just felt like making it myself (my mom helped)
Gifts are basically the main things I like about bdays.
One of my friends turned 16 like 4 days after too.

I can't wait to turn 18. I hope it feels special.

I don't know why they call Nigeria a "Democratic Republic" because it certainly isn't. At least to me.

That's why many people get rid of their cultures (thinking clothes e.t.c) thinking it reflects backwardness.
We should be proud of who we are rather than being unecessarily self-conscious. Disciple has to do with your morals e.t.c but this party, money thing has to do with Tradition!
Peeing in the street corners or creating a refuse dump in main roads. those are some of the many activities that in my definition reflect indiscipline. (If only the President would do something about that)

Oh,  .  you agree that the law doesn't do anything to improve the Nigerian condition right?
So don't you think this our president should use more of his time and energy in creating laws that actually benefit the society? Like building public Libraries e.t.c?

Nigeria isn't a member of the G8 as Ashiwaju mentioned. the Group of 8 decide who they want to invite and the invitations are usually for specific reasons.

America is just a synonym for The United States of America (a country).
so you can refer to America as a country

South Africa is better developed than Nigeria in my opinion even though I don't think this has anything to do with the G8 Summit.

i manage to stumble acroos a website(or someone's blog) from another nairaland member. i was SURPRISE to read the negative comments about nairaland. is it really true? the comments the people made on this blog is it true? i guess i am yet to find out.

the blog was from , a fellow nairaland member entitled Nairaland and its nigerian spirit

another blog is of a man named dejiolowe(another Nl member). WOW!!!!!!

I read the comments on both blogs you mentioned and didn't find a place where it says "Nairaland is evil."
Those bloggers didn't call Nairaland evil so your post topic is kind of misleading.
They mainly complained and made negative comments about the leadership and the Admin (If you read closely)

OBJ needs to get a life or go to sleep or something.
If he can't tackle serious issues and instead want to pretend activeness by forming incessant lame bills that do nothing to help Nigeria, he really should go to bed.

How's that going to raise the Naira value anyways? I don't see how that's going to stop a dollar from equaling 125 naira.
He needs to do something about that instead.

How easy is it to pass a bill like that and how hard is it to pass a bill that actually does something to the economy and integrity of Nigeria?


I think this bill if passed into law definitely will end something that's unique about the Nigerian Culture and tradition (probably the only good part to the country since the economic and political spheres are obviously dysfunctional)
