Not good. Not good at all.
Certainly not now we have a brain dead president who at the moment has jetted out to London for another round of medical tourism.
I don't even think his minister of health knows anything about taking proactive steps to set up monitoring and surveillance teams immediately at all ports of entry into the country.
If we were scared by the last epidemic when there was a marginally responsible government, this time, we should all live in mortal fear.

Not good at all.

There are certain people on this forum who can never hide their hate or their parochial nature for certain tribes, no matter what.
He is one of them.

Your definition of prompt response is what, in this case? Visiting victims in the hospital? huh
Classic!
While I agree the constitution hinders him from undertaking certain duties when his principal was away, it doesn't prevent him to be vocal, or be seen as proactive.
Can you count on the fingers of one hand how many times this VP has in no terms openly condemned the wanton killing by herdsmen? Instead, all the short abobaku likes to do is to call out the past administration and talk about how GEJ and his men looted the treasury. You'd think that being a lawyer, he would be more discerning than this. You would think he shouldn't be making such empty noise if he isn't willing to back it up with hard facts and prosecute the crime.

Him working with an illiterate dullard has rubbed off on him. Iron sharpeneth iron. But in this case, Bubu's rubber has dulled the VP's iron. I wouldn't vote Osibanjo. He's become a retard like his principal. Whatever makes him think he needed to forget his education, his training, his upbringing and his calling, just to pander to a relic like Buhari has made him a write off in my file. Next!

Poor soil? What do you mean by poor soil? Igboland does not have any poor soil, regardless of what anybody said in the 1940's. The problem of igbo soil is because we have a tendency to pull out grasses and shrubs that holds the soil together whenever it rains. If you leave the land bare which igbos do a lot, after five hundred years of rainfall, without the grass and shrubs to hold the exposed land together, it will begin to erode. That's why YOU WILL NEVER EVER SEE A BARE LAND ANYWHERE IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES. As a matter of fact, it's ILLEGAL in the US to leave your land bare. You must either cement it or grass it. You can never leave it bare. There's no piece of land anywhere in the US where that piece of land is not designated for something.YOU WILL NEVER SEE ANY BROWN ANYWHERE IN THE U S LIKE YOU SEE ALL OVER NIGERIA Green grass in developed countries are what they use to prevent erosion. When you drive around the US, all you see is green, mostly green lush grasses. Go and watch tekno miles music video "where" to see what I'm talking about.
C'mon, man!
Go easy with the exaggerations. Its giving me toothache! angry
You trying to buttress this point with a music video, shot in a cool part of the city doesn't cut it.
Not every part of that country looks the way it is seen in that video.

Stop talking like the US and some European countries haven't got untarred roads, pavements or walk paths. I've seen them myself. I'm not talking about videos or movies.
Yes, Nigeria's case is annoying, given the huge resources that has been squandered. Let's not dwell on the negatives. Such comparisons won't help much, either.

Except you rest your lappy over your jewels, I have always observed that the heat from its vents aren't that much. Certainly not enough to "fry" your balls.
When I need to keep them on my laps, I usually place my laptop closer to the knees than my groin. That way, there's some space in between my balls and the machine for ventilation.
Also, I suggest you get laptops that has the cooling vents located by the sides, not the bottom.

You made no sense in your statement, maybe all vehicles should be banned since some vehicles cause accidents.
What we should be advocating is intensification of efforts to bring all criminals and wrongdoers to book, irrespective of their tribe, not condemning everyone because of the hate of one man.
Huh?
The hate of one man? Seriously?
So, you're trying to say that its just FFK that hates killer herdsmen? The people of Agatu, Gwer, Logo, Makurdi, Nasarawa, Plateau, Taraba, Adamawa and states in the SE and SS that have had brothers, fathers, mothers, daughters, relatives and friends slaughtered have been showing love to herdsmen, right?
Did you see a picture of a group of about two dozen kids from Benue whom herdsmen have rendered orphans? I'm sure they all love the herdsmen responsible for killing their parents, while FFK is filled with hate and venom on their behalf.

Until you yourself become a victim of the senseless killings, you cannot understand what hate means.
Is FFK's message wrong? I don't have any iota of regards for FFK. But his stand on this issue mirrors the feeling of many Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: Gunmen Invade Idps Camp In Benue, Kill 7 by whirlwind7(m): 7:59am On Apr 27, 2018
Is there anyone still in doubt that tribes from the middle belt are being systematically targeted for a certain reason?
I absolutely believe they want the people to abandon their lands. The killings isn't necessarily aimed at wiping off the entire indigenes. This is almost impossible. The full occupation of the land is what is being aimed at.
These people were not killed for confronting herdsmen in their farms. They were killed inside IDP camps! This is sending a strong message: you are not safe within the boundaries of your lands. Keep off permanently if you want to stay alive! That's the message.

A message that is covertly receiving support from an inept federal government that has not been seen to take decisive steps at curbing this perception.

Before I argue any further with you, are you in the medical field? Or you watching video on youtube?
Did you read where I said I'm AHA certified? That's American Heart Association. Obviously, you don't get such certificate from watching YouTube videos.

If you are actually based in the US as your profile said, then go to the nearest health care facility to verify the info I just gave you.
You don't ever perform CPR on a victim with fractured ribs!
TravelRe: Scores Of Passengers Killed In Fatal Bus Accident In Anambra State. Photos by whirlwind7(m):
Motolank:
You can still perform CPR on patient with fractured ribs but you just dont move them around, like repositioning them...
You only perform cpr on a person not breathing, so fracturing more rib or staying alive you choose one.
Wrong! Obviously, you have never performed CPR on a human victim before. You are talking to an AHA certified person. Studies show that it does more harm than good with broken ribcages.
Do you have any idea of the amount of force it takes to compress the heart of a supine adult? Do you know the amount of chest pain someone who has had quality CPR performed on him experiences afterwards?
Kindly watch instructional CPR videos online. NONE is performed on healthy, non distressed person because of the pain it would inflict.

Don't be misled by hearsays and movies. A victim with broken ribs will most likely die from CPR, because the force applied will shatter fractured ribcages and injure the heart.
There's a reason why performing CPR on car crash victims have been discontinued or outrightly banned in certain countries. You have to be a surgeon to take a snap decision on the immediate cost/benefit risk of performing it on the spot, and be ready to defend your license afterwards.

I guess you're speaking from a Nigerian perspective. I understand.

But checking for who you can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on..... when will we learnhuh

Lazzzzzzy youths
It is not advisable to perform CPR on crash victims. Used to be done in the past, but not anymore. This is because victims might have fractured ribs, of which CPR would definitely make it worse, or kill the victim.

In certain countries, you could get sued, especially if the victim dies afterwards.

PoliticsRe: Video Of Senator Dino Melaye's Arrest; Sits On The Ground Like Common Criminal by whirlwind7(m): 5:41am On Apr 26, 2018
Jakumo:
It is ironic that while in Africa an aggressive, loud-mouthed and agitated individual like Diamond Dino Malaye can sit like a toad on the road in "protest" of his own impending arrest by police, a black man seen to be physically resisting arrest in the USA stands a very good chance of being jolted with a few thousand volts from a Tazer stun-gun to facilitate his hand-cuffing, if he is lucky, or, if he is not lucky, getting LEGALLY shot to death by arresting officers, sealing a fate that befalls black American men in statistically greater numbers, than all other demographic groups combined.

Intoxicated by the sheer scale of corrupt enrichment in which he has been engaged since his entry into public office, Dino Ferrari Malaye
soon began to presume himself to be above the laws of the land that he, in his role as a so-called "senator", had sworn to uphold as a prerequisite of office. Ignoring multiple police summons, and then hiring hoodlums to directly confront the police on a state highway, are typically ill-considered slapstick theatrics that can only be expected from an arrogant and materialistic buffoon whose academic credentials were evidently forged.

Well, Dino found out today, with his overdue enrollment in The School of Hard Knocks, just how utterly wrong his presumption of personal impunity has been from the start, and now, he is going to get the living crap beat out of him in jail, as a life-lesson he so badly requires, after which he WILL spend a richly deserved stretch, hopefully with hard labor, DEEP in The Pokey, otherwise known as JAIL, The Slammer, The Clink, or GOAL.

Oblivious to the abject poverty that is everywhere in contemporary Nigeria, Dino Melaye reveled in his own unrelenting bombast, whilst boasting like a 10-year old boy on Xmas day, about his serial acquisition of astronomically expensive super-cars whose very low suspensions are singularly unsuited for the moonscape that best describes MOST Nigerian roads, out beyond the fortified enclaves of the super rich.

With an angry and hungry population everywhere he looked along Nigeria's mean city streets, Dino Melaye lavished and squandered stolen wealth on vulgar displays of crass materialism, from luxury cars to gaudy and opulent mansions, to weekly foreign "vacations", all the while gleefully chronicling his criminal career on social media with breathless accounts of his profligate life's every pricey personal indulgence.

If Dino Melaye goes insane and ultimately dies whilst in jail, he will not be mourned by many outside of his immediate family, if at all.
The nigga has swallowed enough. Its time to regurgitate them and pay some penance. Not like his adversaries are any better, though.

Secondly, Igbo people are not interested in the presidency as much as they are interested in enthroning equity and justice through a structure anchored on true federalism. The most important thing to Ndigbo is to have a restructured Nigeria where every zone grows at its own pace. That is more important than a Kanuri president in 2042, a Nupe president in 2058, an Itshekiri president in 2071 and a Berom president in 2084. All those narratives are so idiotic and very unintelligent.

Jonathan, in turn trying to ignore them, might be the reason why it is generally perceived that he failed the south. It was expected that he would address the age long neglect of the south, especially SS, but he didn't seem to give that region a special attention or preferential treatment.

This could be the reason.
