Please, a friend of mine received a call from BOI today telling him to report to their office tomorrow morning with his original high institution certificate and a cash sum of N48,000 as appraisal fee. I need to know if that is in order. Are they not supposed to remove the money from the loan? Will they not find another excuse after the money is paid? Moreover, I don't think this guy has that amount of money to pay tomorrow. Please somebody should talk to me about this. |

I got to know about an unfortunate incident at a Skye Bank branch in PH last Monday only when m neighbour was discussing it this morning. My only interest here is about the Nigerian Police. These people have have had it up to their neck. I wonder why a whole national security outfit like the police just lost the confidence of the people for a mere filthy lucre. I wad so sad when I read the part that talked about the police. Is it really true that our police force has turned to ugly things as depicted in the last part of the report? Exerpt: BREAKING… Woman recognises her former abductor in bank, describes scar near his penis ~ There was a lot more than banking yesterday, Tuesday, February 6, 2017 at a Skye bank branch in Port Harcourt when a woman (name undisclosed) who was standing on the queue patiently, suddenly began to scream at another bank customer that he was a kidnapper. She grabbed the accused man on his collar and began to weep profusely as other customers and bank security tried to pull her away from him. An eyewitness gathered that in tears, the woman revealed that she was kidnapped about a year ago and the accused bank customer was one of her abductors. She disclosed that the accused was particular to her because he sexually abused her 4-6 times a day while she was on abduction. Our eyewitness gathered that the accused man denied the allegations and claimed that he had never met the woman before. He claimed he was just a tailor that had come to make a withdrawal. The woman stood by her story and said she could never forget him, she even told onlookers and bank security that if they take off the man’s trouser, they would find a scar on his upper thigh. Police officers arrived at the bank shortly and undressed the man in a closed office and indeed there was a scar. It was gathered that the police officers obtained a warrant immediately to check the accused man’s account details and a large sum of 98 million naira was found in his account. Officers of the Police Force detained the man and took him to Anti-Kidnap unit for further questioning. I hope they will not collect a chunk of the N98m and release the man on bail. Let's share this post, make it go viral in other to help the Police do the needful.

The report is not authenticated by any Presidential spokesperson, the punch reporter saw workers repainting a house and he presumed and made up the story. Before noon, they will deny it. But I want the president back for real! |
Fellow Nairalanders, please who are those that trekked from Lagos to Abuja when APC won? If you know any of them, I want you to help me tell them that there is an important national assignment waiting for them. Please, we need them to trek to London and confirm something for us. But do not forget that prayer changes things. Pray for peace in Nigeria especially NOW and as you wake up this morning, please offer a little prayer. Thank you.

WikiLeaks: Clinton, Obama, Soros Overthrew Pope Benedict In Vatican Coup George Soros, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton orchestrated a coup in the Vatican to overthrow the conservative Pope Benedict and replace him with radical leftist Pope Francis, according to a group of Catholic leaders citing evidence from various sources including WikiLeaks emails. Pope Benedict XVI reigned as Pope of the Catholic Church from 2005 to 2013 before unexpectedly resigning in unusual circumstances. Becoming the first Pope to step down since Pope Gregory XII in 1415, Benedict is widely considered the first to do so on his own initiative since Pope Celestine V in 1294. However the group of Catholic leaders cite new evidence uncovered in emails released by WikiLeaks to claim the conservative Pope Benedict did not actually resign on his own initiative, but was pushed out of the Vatican by a coup that the group of researchers are calling the “Catholic Spring.” Soros, Obama and Clinton used the United States’ diplomatic machinery, political muscle, and financial power to coerce, bribe and blackmail “regime change” in the Roman Catholic Church in order to replace the conservative Benedict with the current Pope Francis – who has since become an unlikely mouthpiece for the international left, stunning Catholics around the world. Now the group of Catholic leaders have sent a letter to President Trump urging him to launch an official investigation into the activities of George Soros, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton (and others) who they allege were involved in orchestrating Catholic Spring that resulted in their goal of “regime change” in the Vatican. The Catholic leaders cite eight specific questions they seek to have answered concerning suspect events that led to the resignation of Pope Benedict, the first papal abdication in 700 years. “Specifically, we have reason to believe that a Vatican ‘regime change’ was engineered by the Obama administration,” say the petitioners, in their January 20 letter to President Trump. “We were alarmed to discover,” their letter notes, “that, during the third year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she associated proposed a Catholic ‘revolution’ in which the final demise of what was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized.” The letter includes links to documents and news stories underscoring their claims. It first directs attention to the notorious Soros-Clinton-Podesta e-mails disclosed last year by WikiLeaks, in which Podesta and other progressives discussed regime change to remove what they described as the “middle ages dictatorship” in the Catholic Church. Regarding the Podesta e-mails in question, The New American reported last October: “Podesta, a longtime Clinton adviser/confidante and hand-picked top activist for left-wing funder George Soros, revealed in a 2011 e-mail that he and other activists were working to effect a “Catholic Spring” revolution within the Catholic Church, an obvious reference to the disastrous “Arab Spring” coups organized that same year by the Obama-Clinton-Soros team that destabilized the Middle East and brought radical Islamist regimes and terrorist groups to power in the region. The Podesta e-mail is a response to another Soros-funded radical — Sandy Newman, founder of the “progressive” Voices for Progress. Newman had written to Podesta seeking advice on the best way to “plant the seeds of the revolution” in the Catholic Church, which he described as a “middle ages [sic] dictatorship.” In their letter to President Trump, the group of Catholics leaders write: "Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left. The Pontificate of Pope Francis has subsequently called into question its own legitimacy on a multitude of occasions.” “We remain puzzled by the behavior of this ideologically charged Pope, whose mission seems to be one of advancing secular agendas of the left rather than guiding the Catholic Church in Her sacred mission,” they say, expressing the thoughts of millions of Catholics around the world stunned by Pope Francis’s left-wing ideology. “It is simply not the proper role of a Pope to be involved in politics to the point that he is considered to be the leader of the international left.” They continue: “With all of this in mind, and wishing the best for our country as well as for Catholics worldwide, we believe it to be the responsibility of loyal and informed United States Catholics to petition you to authorize an investigation into the following questions: – To what end was the National Security Agency monitoring the conclave that elected Pope Francis? – What other covert operations were carried out by US government operatives concerning the resignation of Pope Benedict or the conclave that elected Pope Francis? – Did US government operatives have contact with the “Cardinal Danneels Mafia”? – International monetary transactions with the Vatican were suspended during the last few days prior to the resignation of Pope Benedict. Were any U.S. Government agencies involved in this? – Why were international monetary transactions resumed on February 12, 2013, the day after Benedict XVI announced his resignation? Was this pure coincidence? – What actions, if any, were actually taken by John Podesta, Hillary Clinton, and others tied to the Obama administration who were involved in the discussion proposing the fomenting of a “Catholic Spring”? – What was the purpose and nature of the secret meeting between Vice President Joseph Biden and Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on or about June 3, 2011? – What roles were played by George Soros and other international financiers who may be currently residing in United States territory?” The investigation the group of Catholic leaders is requesting of President Trump should be of interest to more than just Catholics. George Soros’s ability to co-opt leading political figures to assist his radical plans for nation states is well known; but his ability to force “regime change” in the Catholic church, an institution previously throught impenetrable from the outside, raises serious questions about his potential for global chaos. The c — and punishment — should begin at once.

Nigerians and the play of supremacy...! Before the Nigeria Police intimidates Road Safety and Civil Defence, today the Civil Defence has gotten a junior in the rank and file and it's time to teach the Peace Corpers the tricks... Nigerian uniform men, which way now...? Exerpts: Civil Defense, Peace Corps battle in Osogbo There is an ongoing tension between the Peace Corps of Nigeria and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, (NSCDC) in Osun, resulting to series of arrests and counter-arrests, DAILY POST reports. It was gathered that the two organisations have been involved in serious fracas lately, which almost degenerated to a full-blown violence. As the crisis raged on, the Osun State Provost of the Peace Corps, Akintayo Oluseye, had recently alleged that he was detained, de-kit and beaten by men of the civil defense on the order of the NSCDC state commandant. According to the him, “it started in December 15, 2016 when civil defense officer identified as Olarinoye came with a mechanic and crossed our quarter guard which is never done in any barrack. “Olarinoye came back some days after and packed his car on the road that led to our barrack. We tried to plead with him but he rose in anger and hit his head on a pole. “He, however, went to their barrack to report that we inflicted injury on him and instead of their commandant to investigate, they started arresting our officers within the metropolis, and locked them up in their guard-rooms after beaten them to pulp”. In his reaction, the Commandant of NSCDC, Philip Oyedele, said it was untrue that he ordered his men to detain officers of Peace Corps, saying he was not at home when the incident happened. “I was on a television programme when I heard that one of my officers was beaten by the Peace Corps. I invited the commandant of Peace Corps immediately after the incident and he begged me to temper justice with mercy. I have not taken step on it when their Deputy Commandant came to my compound without informing me. “They came in mufti and tred to drive in before my men stopped them. And my men did not know their mission. If I did not enter the barrack on that day, we would have been saying another thing because my men were fully armed when they came. “I have instructed their commandant to produce Alata and Adamu, who were reported to have beaten my men to come and apologize,” he said.

I received a mail this morning calling all well meaning Nigerians to come out and protest government's insensitivity to the plight of the conmon man. Reading down the message I saw some sensible and salient issues being addreesed, but what came to my mind threw a chill to my spines. Will Nigerians behave properly during the said protest? Will they conduct themselves properly without giving room to hoodlums to loot, destroy and render innocent people's property useless? Will they have the support of the general populace? Will the law enforcement agencies not have a field day as they waste innocent blood at the slightest provocation? Will the government honour the intentions of the protesters and use it to form opinions and address obnoxious policies? If the above issues can be addressed and understanding reached, I think the protesters have my support. I don't know about you... Exerpt: FIRST MASSIVE NATIONWIDE PROTESTS ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY, 2017. A call for good governance. A call for urgent explanation into the reckless economic downturn nationwide. A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary... You have all failed us. We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day. Where are the recovered looted funds? Why do we still have the executive arms and legislatures still enjoying their salaries and allowances while we hear there's no money to pay workers? Why do we still see ceaseless power failures with no explanation and hope of getting out of it unlike before? Why do we keep seeing peace talks in Niger Delta, fulani heardsmen and ipob without any solutions being reached, while the strategies keeps aggravating the people involved as political leaders stage forums to extort funds in the name of addressing their subjects? Why did we have petrol price rise to 145 for the sake of global oil price crash and removal of subsidy but such price is still being maintained despite significant re-awakening of the oil price from $30/barrel to $56/barrel? Who is to be held accountable for the sudden and continuous hike in price of commodities in the market, where for the first time in history, Nigeria is suddenly selling kerosene at 400 naira per litre as against 50 naira per litre, diesel at 300 naira per litre as against 100 naira per litre and petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira? Yet maintaining the same systems, environment and maybe a lesser money spending government. There's need for Nigerians to rise against what is happening in this country having waited patiently for the legislatures that were elected to represent the people all to no avail. How can there be rise in cost of living all of a sudden and no one is telling us what is actually happening? Not even a single person in power to address the challenges in the various sectors and introduce palliative measures by the government to cushion the effects? We call on all Nigerians of good conscience to rise against this inhumanity against mankind, dehumanization and heartlesness living in high places piloting the affairs of this country while we're yet to drawn into a deep blue sea. To this cause, we the masses wish to use this medium to alert ourselves that on the 5th of February, 2017 , there shall be a nationwide massive protest from state to state, local government to local government, ward to ward and kindred to kindred. For the first time, all Nigerians shall match out of their houses to the streets with placards displaying what displeases you in the Nigeria of today both in the executive, legislatures and judiciary arms of government. Cars shall carry green leaves to display the unhappiness we the masses have towards the economic uncertainties in Nigeria and the displeasure of hearing of excuses and mistakes here and there in governance. Nobody said anybody is above resignation if he cannot meet up the yearnings of the people like David Cameron of United kingdom. We are tired of getting surprises whenever we visit the market and yet no shake up in government spending amidst the dwindling economic reserve. Our governors and top government functionaries keep living flamboyant lifestyle, building mansions and buying up properties abroad at the most expensive locations in the world and they end up going away with it once they identify with government or political party of the day. Enough is enough. We have been pushed to the wall, we have reached our crossroads and our last hope before we are drawned in silence without notice is a massive protest and a vote of no confidence on the people we voted to pilot the affairs of our nation. May we rise to demand a bann on the following: Security votes of every government functionaries. Why do we spend extra while their security operatives rely on their normal salaries, why even continue this scheme in a dwindling economy as this in Nigeria today? Oversight functions. Excessive allowances like health and travelling allowances abroad, etc. New yearly furniture allowances, rentals and kitchens for government houses, etc... And the need to start owing governors salaries etc. The need to stop local government allocations till they start functioning constitutionally. The need to channel youth empowerment programs towards youth friendly programs such as sports, information technology, entertainment, innovations, inventions and not just agriculture or farming. We call on state of emergency on power, bad roads, poor governance, dead local government areas, electoral frauds etc. God help Nigeria as we rise on the 5th of February, 2017. Long live the people of the federal republic of Nigeria. Pls pass it on till it gets to over 145million Nigerians suffering from the current hardship that is capable of turning this country into a living hell if nothing is done about it NOW. Encourage growth, encourage development, encourage stability to all. Help us to fight with our own voices now. The question here is, will you protest?

Beauty they say lies in the eyes of the beholder. But in the case of this couple, beauty may lie in the eyes of the wife for picking a well-built husband. Their wedding photos have got the whole internet up in disarray with many wondering how the couple found each other judging by the obvious difference in weight of both husband and wife. See their photos and decide for yourself whether theirs is a case of true love or something else.

He was voted for and sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, but having done so much as an individual, the international communities seem to love him more than his own people. To Nigerians, Donald Trump is more than a US president. Here is what a Nigerian wrote just for his single action on ascending the exalted position in America: EVERY RIGHT THINKING NIGERIAN WILL TYPE: Thank you Mr Donald Trump, to this; . Thank you for not inviting them...you have saved us a great deal and if you don't know... You have saved us $1.5m of taxpayers money that Buhari would have used to land in the USA, mope around all day, smile and laugh, then sink in a deep cough and not hear a word; finally come back emptier than ever! . You have saved us N3b naira worth of billboards, banners and posters that Okorocha Rochas would have put up with slogans like,"The latest face of change" to deface Imo state and tell Imolites they are owing him N36b by 2019! . You have saved us over $1m that Aisha and Zara would have used just to come sit at the diplomatic stand, chew gums, snap Selfies and update profiles with "Fayose see me and Ivanka" and "Ivanka's complexion on my mind" . You have saved us over $1m, the cost of carrying Rotimi Amaechi, whose next newspaper headline on return would have been"American companies have sworn to build 36 rail stations for 36 states" and "Trump hates Wike" . You saved us lies!!! Lai Mohammed was already rehearsing his scripts and I am sure," Trump begs Buhari to partner with him", "Trump to Buhari: you are a messaih" would have been his first lies. This would have cost us N850m!! . All the estacodes...a minimum of $250k and a crowd of not less than 130 persons including PAs of the PA to the SA of Senior SAs. . Thank you once again Mr Trump! Thank you for not inviting us! I am sure the 19 Northern governors would have used the opportunity to conclude their meeting with Mr John Kerry and that is $1m × 19 = $19m ( don't bother using BODMAS, we have saved that). . I am sure some of the constituted authorities like Ajimobi of Oyo state who cannot pay salaries or fund education in their states would have been there with federal allocations, not less than $10m budgeted. . Sure it would have been an opportunity to meet some of your Parliament members... so Bukola Saraki and his entourage should have been there. Mr Trump, that alone would have been paid for using oil wells for at least 2 years!!! . Our 3 in one minister and jack of all trade, Babatunde Fashola would have been in the parade too. Just $50k would have taken him to and fro but I bet you, he will update his website with $2m with messages like,"American Electricity company takes over kainji and 400 power stations "! . I did not forget the failing health of the president (that has refused to fail totally) and I know what your health system is like, so this would have been a glorious opportunity to spend his leave there...please that one I am not sure we can fund it alone without the help of IMF and the world bank if he was in America... . You saved us their noise, their pride, their nuisance, cost of gingles, their cluelessness, the appalling photographs that you will not know when they have snapped it but they will use it as 2019 election campaign posters! On your first day in office, you saved us over $200m in this recession!!! . This is the money they siphon from our pockets while their gullible fans are on fb, tweeter and all social media shouting its PDP vs APC!!!! By Bishops Edwin

Hmmmm, I'm yet to see other beneficiaries of this N-Power thing or did this guy write this simply to attract attention? It's a pity! |
Right from creation God made all things beautiful. Human beings are still battling today to know some things that God made with His hands. Yet some folks deny His existence. Who says there is no God? Who says human beings are accidents of nature? See how we respect and praise scientists for just discovering what God created but don't give a damn on who the Creator of scientists is. It's time to know God and follow His ways. 2017 will never be a wasteful year for you. I want to hear your testimony! |

Bank Of Industry (BOI) YES PROGRAMME, A BIG DECEIT, A WASTE OF PRECIOUS Time by Bank Of Industry (BOI) YES PROGRAMME, A BIG DECEIT, A WASTE OF PRECIOUS Time by Adisa edited by Kay. Six months after the commencement of the YES programme by BOI, not even a single person has benefited from the time invested to this initially promising scheme even after getting to the final stage (Plan Approval). NOT ONE! The #YES programme has successfully wasted the precious times of young entrepreneurs who initially thought #BOI #YES_P would be their stepping stone to a greater future. BOI lied to these entrepreneurs, cajoled them to sign up for the programme, hid key terms of the loan and allowed these helpless youths to commit their time, resources energy, intellect for 60 solid days in online training from AMI ( A good exposure I must say) and a week in class training for which some participants had to travel long distances, feed themselves and pay for hotel accommodation. Imagine the stress nursing mothers and their babies had to go through for 6 days and probably more for some. My major problem with BOI is this: why must you lie and lure thousands of youth to sign for the YES programme when you know that there are other terms and conditions you never disclosed initially to these youths until they have reached the final stage before telling them? Why? Is it because you knew if you told them early enough, many would not join the scheme because you also know only 1-2% of these entrepreneurs can meet such stringent conditions. BOI an organization I hold in high esteem has turned itself into a petty corporate liar. To our great youth, whether you have started or not, there is one condition(A major condition) BOI never told you during the training but will inform you only when your plan is approved and I doubt many will meet such condition in time, if at all. YOU MUST PRODUCE 2 GUARANTORS WORTH 5M (subject to loan amount requested) EACH AND THEY MUST BE READY TO SWEAR A NOTARISED AFFIDAVIT OF NET WORTH AND DROP THE RECEIPT(S) OF THEIR ASSET. In the beginning, BOI only told v our POST SECONDARY CERTIFICATE is our security not this. But this is what they will tell you after your plan is approved. I have been there hence LISTEN! Unfortunately for me, I can't meet such stringent conditions of N5m net worth of each guarantor. I was ready to drop my certificate but this I can not do, after much investment into this programme. I know many are like me, BOI deceived us into this programme but what can we do? How many young entrepreneurs can meet these conditions? I strongly want to call on the Federal Government and all parties involved to ask BOI to revert to the original conditions with which this programme was advertised. We are sincere and excellent entrepreneurs to have made it this far and we are ready to contribute their quota in developing our economy that currently lies in a cesspool, but we need support, not one with impossible conditions as BOI YES programme is asking for. To BOI, I thank you for time wasted, I strongly advise henceforth that you come out plain with the true conditions from day one and not cajol Nigerian youths into your failed YES programme filled with half truths. Have you asked yourself why not one person across the nation has benefited from this YES after 6 months? I will advise you maintain the certificate as security because it will be easily met by sincere youths than the 5m each (subject to loan sum requested), 2 guarantors, if truely the goal of your YES programme is to assist young entrepreneurs, contribute to the economy and take people out of poverty. Right now, You are not different from commercial banks, why do I need to waste my time with you if I have such guarantors in the first place. Only 1-2% out of 1200 from every batch will finally make that loan conditions defeating your aim of setting up such programme. So, please, think again on your conditions as many youth are already frustrated with your emergency post approval conditions. To our youths, I must commend your courage, we have really endured this country despite the frustration everyday and everywhere. My encouragement to you all is to keep up fighting and look out for better deals and grants. For those who will fully meet the requirements, I congratulate you in advance and enjoin you to do your best to contribute your quota to our economy as required by the programme. We must not give up as entrepreneurs, if YES does not work out, there are other better programmes out there. For all your time and resources spent, take consolation in the AMI and in-class training which is truely rich and loaded. You must not give up in yourselves and in Nigeria, no matter the outcome of your YES application. I have written all these to report what is going on that many are not yet privy to. This will help you prepare ahead and gather enough strength to carry on. This is also aimed at BOI to see the extent of damage that will be done to many of these great young entrepreneurs because of their initial lies. BOI YES

Trapnews:Hahaha! I got the gist of the plot. Did you ever read the report? The op is highly deluded, what connection has Imo with Benin-Shagamu road where the cannabis was ceased together with Idoko from Benue State, who claimed to be a student? I pity Nigerian and the rise in joblessness! |
andersonbaba:That's why they are better journalists! You don't give out all you have for a case, you hold back some for the judgement day. They are waiting for you to take up the matter so that they will disgrace you and your people with the facts. If you say the picture is not enough, go to court and they will be glad to meet you there. Maturity in journalism profession is not measured by the amount of information you can divulge in a given period, but how well you are able to manage information within your disposal. I am ashamed there are so many half-baked and baby-journalists in the social media today. My advice is that you should learn to grow up! |
At least four people were killed when a bus belonging to G.U Okeke Group of Companies popular known as G.U.O Transport plunged into a stone-laden area of Bauchi/Jos road, careened into the stone pillars and summersaulted leaving four people killed and many injured. Among the dead includes a pregnant woman who was said to be on appointment with her doctor at the FMC Gombe. Survivors and eye witnesses attributed the cause of the accident to human error on the side of the driver who was helping himself with some energy enhancement as he drove all through the night. The bus took off from Onitsha and was on its way to Gombe, police say.
