US election: T.B Joshua predicts win for Clinton November 6, 2016 Eniola Akinkuotu, Abuja Popular televangelist, Prophet Temitope Joshua, has predicted that the next President of the United States will be a woman. Joshua said this on his official Facebook page on Sunday. The two frontrunners in the presidential race are Hillary Clinton of the Democratic Party and Republican, Donald Trump. Clinton is the only leading female candidate. The other female presidential candidate is Jill Stein of the Green Party but is not believed to be a threat. The cleric, who is the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, however, predicted that the next US President would face an uphill task in passing bills. Joshua said, “Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win. The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President. The boat of the new President will be rocked. “By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman.” |

jjagz:Thanks for saying the truth that you have never been married. Anyway, my advice is wait till you get married and you can allow anything to take place in your home. Settled? Some matters are beyond some people. Proudly a grandfather! |
Oby Ezekwesili popularly known in those days of OBJ as MADAM DUE PROCESS used to soft spoken but tough woman. Apart from certain jabs she gave to the past administration, it was obvious she was at home with Jonathan's system of government. But when it comes to writing this about PMB then the wall has cracked! OBY EZEKWESILI OPENS UP. I still find it funny that most people don't know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything. It's also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off. The truth about Nigeria's recession is this; it was caused by the president's unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language. Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren't buying 5 years ago, therefore it's not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors. After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate. Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into dormiciliary accounts. That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush. To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL. In the end, foreign investors took over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall. To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market. The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of %2000 profit. Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JPMORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge. Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians. For your information, if your president "kontunu" with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/1 $. But we thank God, he is no longer talking.

excellent2013:Thanks dear. Sometimes I wonder why people get married in the first place. They share "all things in common" only when the man is ready to bleed himself dry, but the woman cannot bring out hers. What then is the reason for her working? Most men will practically stop their wives from any form of work to keep the home for them. Others allow their wives to work but now see what they get. Anyway, I din't have much to say but it is very bad of any woman to use her hands scatter her own home. They can initiate quarrel, run their mouth anyhow and even be the first to raise a hand against the man. When the man cooperates, they will still be the ones to call press conference shouting ABUSE! One told the husband that things are getting tougher for only him to carry the weight of the family's needs that she should be allowed to pick up a paid employment. Because the man wants the wife to be happy abd feel belonged, he allowed it. Some years later, the woman was still lamenting. She will practically force the man to keep vigils at night praying anytime her salary delays. The last thing she does is telling the man when the salary is paid. The reason for taking employment is defeated. The man called and told her to quit her job and join him in his business but she refused and left the man's house. Most women today want to be referred to as "a once married" woman. They love freedom to the extreme! I wonder why people take almost every word some of these women speak to be true. I don't give them support any more. Research has shown that 80% of marriages today have women who maltreat their men. Average men are shy in nature and would not like to go public with family issues. Only shameless women do! |
I still have not seen the outcome of the noise about youth empowerment and support when what we see is propaganda and face washing for the government. Anyway, the Nigerian youths are to be blamed. They cannot stand for their right and follow it to the end. No wonder the aged among us are still ruling because they do not trust us. |
The Youth Enterprise Support Programme (YES-Programme) being conducted by the Bank of Industry (BOI) was said to be an approach at addressing the worrisome phenomenon of youth unemployment in Nigeria by developing the capacity of the youths and funding their business ideas. The YES programme aimed at equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to be self-employed by starting and managing their own businesses has trained its first batch of successful participants in different states of the federation. Participants who were trained were drawn from young aspiring entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35 years, with innovative ideas as well as having a minimum educational qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND). The training began with an Eight ( weeks extensive online Entrepreneurship and Business Management training which has the ability to test participants’ understanding and track their progress. After that those who scored high in the eighteen (18) courses were selected and notified for a five (5) days in-class Entrepreneurship and Business Management training (5 modules). These comprise of technical skills training in partnership with the various technical training and vocational institutes in the country. Financing the businesses by BOI under its SME Cluster initiative in consonance with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa’s Commodity-based Industrialisation Strategy. The online course requires commitment as only 70% of those from this stage will proceed to the one week in-class training before being absorbed into the BOI pipeline preferred applicants for the loan. The participants during the in-class training were disappointed by the revelations from BOI. Special note was taken on some very important issues among others. These are as follows: 1. That your original highest educational certificate will be submitted and held by BOI until the loan is paid back. 2. That two guarantors of Grade Level 12 and above as well as two witnesses be provided with their salary bank accounts. 3. That the loan applied for will NEVER be given in cash, but the bank will use it to pay for the items or materials/equipment required in the proposed or established business. Analysis from well meaning Nigerians has shown that the government is truly not willing to assist the youth in establishing their own businesses. The money in question is a LOAN which is payable with interest yet the terms and conditions are very strict and unfriendly. Information gathered shows that the funds are unacessible. This has made majority of the participants to back out of the programme after the in-class training. The BOI admitted that weeks after the in-class training, only a few participants have returned with their final proposals. It is very important to note again that the present administration created various channels of youth empowerment programmes among which are the N-Power, BIG Portal, YES-P, etc. Many of them have trained participants but non has benefitted the youths so far, as what we see all over the place is motion without an actual movement. The question is: Is the government truly ready to empower the youths or are they playing politics with us? Using the BOI's strict terms and conditions is really scary and a start on wrong footing.

chukel:Can you listen to yourself? So because applicants wore white on screening day that makes it widely publicised? I am too big to trade words with you but if calling me stupid is for you to win arguement, I wish you well. May it be to you as you wish others! |
dotcomnamename:Is that a statement or a threat? It sounds childish!!!!!! |
Waooooh! This present government has succeeded in dividing Nigeria and Nigerians into fragments!!! |
cyrilamx:And you are blaming them for being careful? Is EFCC supposed to give the information by word kf mouth only for people to suspect if was true or false? Why did EFCC list the successful candidates on the official website now when they couldn't do that during recruitment? That agency is not supposed to be secretive about their recruitment. |
Surfboard:You still behaved like the people you are downgrading. To butress your point further, common sense demands that you pull out the link where it was advertised for all to see. Without that, I keep my hands crossed! |
Nusaf:Hmmm! You messed up everything left in your integrity... Next time try to use you real head to respond to important matters!!!! |
Oblang:He caused it. He has been excluding them among those to be favoured in Nigeria, right from his khaki days till now the SE and SS have been his target for destruction. So why should they not hate him back or reject him? |
The lady is looking for attention. She wants to tell you that men are looking for her even when dressed in that cheap leggings called clothes. I pity her!!!! |

JONATHAN SPEAKS OUT... I Didn't Hand Over A Collapsed Nation To Buhari - Dr. Goodluck Jonathan- . Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has replied his critics who accused him of handing over a nation at the verge of collapse to his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari. . Jonathan recounted the achievements of his government to include, handing over a country that produced the richest man in Africa. . Jonathan said, “I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the World with a GDP of $574 billion. . “I inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again. I also inherited a country where illiteracy rate particularly in the Northern part was alarming. I handed over a country where every state in the North and indeed all the states had a Federal University. I inherited a country where there was total infrastructural decay in all the unity schools and colleges of education. But I handed over a country with massive infrastructural improvement in almost higher institutions. I inherited a country where agricultural inputs and production were almost zero. But I handed over a country where a bag of rice was sold for N6,500 to N7000. My regime since the establishment of ecological fund office did more irrigation dams in the North and other parts of the country than other subsequent administrations put together. I inherited epileptic fuel supplies resulting to endless queues at the filling stations. I maintained despite enormous challenges of fuel subsidies and handed over a relatively stable fuel regime. . I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement. . In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa. . The former President further stated " I inherited a country where people were almost losing hope on the credibility of its electoral process but I noticed that democracy will continue to grow in the African continent if leaders value the process of elections more than the product of the process. I handed over electoral process that engendered fairness in its conduct and conclusiveness ". . He said, “Even in the 2015 general elections in my country, Nigeria, there was potential for major crisis if I was not a President duly elected by the will of the people. . “The campaigns leading to the elections almost polarized the country into Christian vs Muslims and North vs South divide. . Most World leaders were worried that our elections will result into major crisis. Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls. . That is where the leadership question comes into play. . As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first. . How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties? . With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through. . Indeed, we sailed through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it. We sailed through because I maintained and still believe that my personal ambition, interest is not worth the blood of any single Nigerian. . My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral system. The deceit is getting too much! |
4everGod:Hmmmmm! Longer throat no good oooh!! See how you carry Bible quote on top!!! |
Timbuktou:Which job is your government doing? Trying and convicting people in the media? How many of the old news that they fed us landed the people involved to prison? Stop deceiving yourself, propaganda and name calling are old fashioned! |
Akshow:Did I hear you say Boko Haram? If Boko Haram has been decimated, who is your president trying to negotiate Chibok Girls release with? He said that he is negotiating to swap the girls with Boko Haram prisoners. What are we really hearing? So Boko Haram and Chibok girls are truly a hoax? So Buhari has been deceiving Nigerians all these while? I assure you he cannot go further than that. The Almighty God will deal with him shortly!!!! |
They could not pay local coaches, will they be able to pay a foreign coach? Nigerian leaders and hypocrisy... Another version of Buying Made in Nigeria!!! |
legaxi:Thanks too, but if the people were senseless, they would not have laid siege on him till the police arrived. If you had read the storry it gave a graphic details of how the community members spotted him and then blocked his free movement with his cattle till they brought in the police. He spotting the police started to shoot in the air to evade arrest. The people could have killed him without the police coming to help! |

Can you see how your little sense can carry you? I have been reading the comments but can attest to it that nobody's religion has been abused. Or are you one of those sent to twist people's words by giving it religious colouration as a reason to kill? Stop it: Nigerians are no longer smiling! Ido not know when Fulani has become a religion. A little time now you'll begin to shout "BLASPHEMY"! We are all witnesses here!!!! |
ezemme:You mean "released", instead of "realize"? |
legaxi:Because he has truly been identified as a herdsman even from his confessionary statement. |
fxskye:Do you think I a Chadian like you? |
Please which Boko Haram members is Buhari government wants to negotiate with, the ones he told us have been "crushed"? I really do not understand this government! |
legaxi:Useless logic! |
I still remember the words of Murtala Nyako, the impeached governor of Adamawa State: "...the equation of Nigeria is now balanced as average Fulani boy has known how to assemble and use AK47". Is it any wonder that in the face of the herdsmen attacks on innocent Nigerians the north and their leaders are saying or doing nothing to stop it just as they did during the Boko Haram time. They celebrated them until the tide started turning against them. Buhari campaigned using elimination of Boko Haram and the people allowed him in. Few months on, he told Nigerians that Boko Haram has been crushed, while the Fulani herdsmen wreck havoc southwards. Over 5000 people are today enjoying free meals, free medical care, free everything in the guise of repentant Boko Haram members in different government designated camps. Few months on, the same Buhari is entering into an agreement with the "crushed" Boko Haram members to swap their prisoners as an option for releasing the purported " Chibok girls". Who is fooling who? No wonder this government is bent on silencing opposition. Now, it is the turn of the press. They are being molested, arrested and jailed while the world watch No body should complain or criticize Buhari government even when it continues to speak through both sides of its mouth! Some of the Christians in Nigeria who supported Buhari's government at the beginning are now understanding that the real reason of his taking power is to truly islamise them! The Buhari kind of change is here... enjoy! |
