I have always associated conservatism with extremism - both religious and political. It connotes intolerance of other people's religion, race, political views and social positions, especially the poor.

I have 3 children and even though I am not the one that suffered the pregnancy and the child birth, I still felt the trauma. I have warned my wife, that I never want to pass through it again.

As a digression, her own senior brother almost divorced his own wife because she got pregnant a 3rd time when they agreed to only have 2 children before they got married.
