Humans are social animals wired to separate ourselves into distinct social groups, you can call it tribe. Which can be subdivided into smaller social units based on religion, culture and party. First being in a sexual relationship always always present the possibility of pregnancy whether with pill or not, even condoms sometimes fails. So I want you to acknowledge that no pill is 100% efficient.

Having said that, if your sexual partner decided on her own have a baby without your knowledge or consent (probably to baby trap you), then there is little you can do. But, the situation become very complex.

If you are in Nigeria there is little consequences for you. The lady and her family would be left with the burden of raising the child. Even children that are born with the consent and even demand of the fathers are often abandoned without consequences, not to talk of unwanted ones.

If you are in the US or UK, then the situation is different. Those societies are set up to protect children first, then women and we men are the least priority. Both parents are forced to be responsible for the upkeep of children whether you want it or not. Once your DNA is found on a baby, you are to pay (at leat half) for the upkeep of the child until 18 years.
This means we men must make wiser division on where we stick our dicks. We must have discussions with our partners on what to do in case of unplanned pregnancy. My grouse with religious fundamentalists is that they have no business in what random couples do with their pregnacies. If they want to keep it, no one should force them to abort it, and if they don't want it no one should force them to birth it.
