The courts are supposed to be the course of last resort in any society. That's why there are many layers of courts up to the Supreme Court. If you lose you case at the Supreme Court, the only way an aggrieved person can get his way is through violence. And resorting to violence would have far reaching implications for everybody involved because the losers would definitely lose their lives or liberties.

It's only the courts that can declare the election rigged and not the aggrieved party. Once the courts declare the election fair, then that's the position of the law. Any other thing done to upturn the decision of the courts is a slip into anarchy.

The actual part of decree 34 that killed the regions is - Nigeria shall on 24th May 1966 cease to be a Federation. This simply means the country ceased being a Federation of regions and effectively became a Republic comprising of components (whether states or regions) under a single (unitary government ).

Frankly, this act happens in majority of noys schools in Nigeria, in as much as this institutions try to inculcate good morals into this boys, there'd still be a few bad ones. That the problem of ignorance of the function of the police by Nigerians. The police does not necessarily need a report or complaint before investigating a alleged crime. Once it became public knowledge, the police should have started it's own investigations. If a murdered person is found on the streets, the police dies not need to wait for a complaint before starting investigations.

Boarding school can be terrible. From the report posted online by one parent that said her son told her about the boy. They said the boy would urinate on the floor and then wont clean her anus after defecating. Nobody is rushing to conclusion, the the alleged crime should churn the stomach of any normal unsentimenral citizen. This involves a minor for god sake. A sane society should protect their children (and women). Once the story gets out, the police didn't need to wait for orders from above or even official complaint to begin investigations.

It's only her own story that's on social media, we have not heard the story from the other accused boys, so we have no basis of comparison yet. If she did not accept the invitation as you alleged, how come she was present at the commissioners office? It obvious the woman is either a semi illiterate or very poor, because if not she should never have gone to the commissioner's office without a lawyer.

Which investigators? I am not aware the issue has been officially investigated. Calling the accused and accusers into a room to confront each other is not an investigation.

That was how a juniour student that was sleeping on my top bunk in those days went to report me to her parent during visiting day that i was drinking her tea and other provisions.
