Time for PDP to take advantage and wrestle Lagos from APC. PDP must avoid all rancour and present a credible candidate and fully support that candidate. I think Jimi Agbaje can take APC to the cleaners in Lagos state right now. |
bedspread: "He didn't say that. And if he did, he didn't mean that. And if he did, you didn't understand it. And if you did, it's not a big deal, anyway. And if it is, others have said worse." - Trump supporters about Trump |
It's not about genes? It's about chromosomes. Genes make up chromosomes. Now two x chromosomes makes a female, while 1x and 1y chromosomes make a males. But, sometimes a man can have an extra x chromosome, making him xxy. In that case the person would exhibit both male and female characteristics. Google Klinefelter syndrome for more information. |
Racoon:Why does he need to tender a school certificate when he possesses higher certificates? Do people with Bachelor and masters degrees present primary and secondary school certificates when applying for jobs? |
lilbest4:See this one o. His heart is so black with hatred. If it was your dad or relation that is seriously sick, will you not spend all your material possessions to save him? Can you place price on life? Will you take kindly to someone insulting you or him that you want to buy life. Don't let hatred reduce you to the level of beasts. |
lilbest4:It must be CNN that hired Trumps daughter and son in law into Trumps government. |
CROWNWEALTH019:So all the countries whose leaders laughed at trumps stupidity are Muslim nations. Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, the E.U and all others countries that have issues with trump are Muslim nations? In that case only Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and a few new Truml allies that must be Christian nations. |
Johnnyessence:Unemployment rate was 4.1 when trump was taking over in January 2017. As I said unemployment rate had been trending downwards for the past 10 years. |
Aaronsrod:Lords chosen that cheats, lies and fork prostitutes, porn stars and play girls? Lords chosen that is so racist that he hates niggers, Muslims and hombres? Well, I would not like to go near such a lord. |
shakmati:The US economy had been growing for the last ten years and unemployment had been going down for the last 10 years also Trump is just continuing the trend, he did not create the trend. The first chart is the 10 year economic growth rate, while the second chart is the 10 year unemployment rate.
|
shakmati:Now let's compare and contrast, who is more despotic and nepotic between Trump and Buhari? How many non whites are in Trump's administration? How many family members are in Buhari administration? Trump fired the FBI, director and is about firing the deputy attorney general of the US, all in an attempt to kill the Russia investigation. If Buhari does these what will you say? If Buhari goes to the UNGA and start campaigning about what great things he had done for Nigeria, what will you call him? |
donk552:How is it supposed to be? Turn a speech to world leaders into a campaign speech? Trump seem to to know the difference between a campaign rally and a speech to the UN General Assembly. |
And how does that concern the UN? Is president Trump campaigning for the president of the world? |
seunmsg:My brother you sabi decode scrambled messages, are you a decoder or a cryptographer? |
homebase:I am not a supporter of PDP or APC. I used to be a Buhari supporter, but he too seems to have failed on many levels. I just want to see right things done. |
yinnyme:I do not see how the electoral act overrule the constitution. The constitution did not specify that all elections must be held in the same day. An election can continue to the next day or even the following week. Areas where elections did not take place and result declared would not be an issue, the problem would be INEC cancelling an election after a result has been declared at the polling unit. What do you think would be the court ruling if the 3000 voters come together and Sue INEC for disenfranchising them? |
Caseless:Unfortunately, that is the nature of elections in Nigeria. The supporters wait for instructions from their leader before voting. How else do you think Tinubu has an iron grip of lagos. |
mamotalk:You did not get your facts right. Elections was cancelled in 2 wards because the card reader did not work, and the electoral act stipulate the use of card readers. In another ward there was violence, so the voters could not vote. So you see, it was not the fault of the voters or the parties that the elections were cancelled in those wards. |
yinnyme:Are you saying that the 3000 odd people that was not allowed to vote by INEC on Saturday should be disenfranchise? If it was in advanced countries those 3000 could sue INEC for disenfranchising them. |
This is the problem with the blackman, we view the world through emotional and sentimental prism, instead of using our moral and logical compass. Even though I am not a lawyer, I see nothing unconstitutional or immoral in what INEC has done. First they are following the electoral guild lines enacted by both PDP and APC legislators. Secondly, is Ozekhome saying some people should be disenfranchised for no fault of theirs. If he says people that came to vote but could not vote due to no fault of theirs - maybe due to the INEC officers fault or security challenge, should not be allowed to vote again. The problem here is that the margin is so close that the cancelled wards would make a difference in who becomes governor. If Adeleke had won with over 5,000 votes, then a rerun would have been unnecessary, but the difference was less than 500, meanwhile about 3000 voters were not allowed to vote. What is wrong in asking those 3000 voters to come and vote. If no one rigs in the rerun elections, I do not see what the problem is. What Ozekome is saying is that all a partisan INEC has to do to ensure its candidate win the election is to cancel wards and local government areas where the opponent is winning or likely to win and disenfranchise their voters. Since there are very few wards, it should be easier to monitor and ensure there is no foul play. |
gbigbega:And Iwu did not read the 1999 constitution before introducing inconclusive elections; However, we the initiators of the inconclusive elections realised that our proposal was against the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as Amended), particularly the presidential and the governorship elections and returns. And all of our legislators did not read the constitution before enacting section 153 of the electoral act. It is only when inec followed what was introduced by Iwu and passed into law by the national assembly that you guys realized that inconclusive elections is against the constitution. Well done! |
Maurice Iwu that conducted the worst elections in the history of mankind is talking. Iwu that conducted a presidential election without serial numbers against common sense and electoral law can open his mouth and some people will listen. Maurice Iwu that conducted the house of assembly and governorship elections on the same day with voters voting in the same venue at the same time but with two different ballot papers. When Iwu discovered the governorship election was not going the way PDP envisaged, he cancelled the whole governorship elections in the state citing violence but upheld the house of assembly elections. This was what happened in Maurice Iwu's home state of Imo in 14th of April, 2007. Maurice Iwu that conducted an election that even the winner( Umaru Yar'adua) accepted that it was flawed. People like Maurice Iwu should be shot. |
bedspread:If you are capable of clear rational thinking, you should know that I was not talking about whether Fayose can win or lose election in Ekiti state, I was telling you that the Jonathan administration rigged Fayose into power. If you truly know about ekiti politics, then you must suffer from selecting amnesia if you tell me you do not remember so many evidence showing how Fayose in collaboration with Brigadier General Momoh, Obanikoro and Omisore rig the 2014 ekiti election. The whistle blower, captain Sagir Kylie, who had audio evidence had to flee the country to save his life. Obanikoro himself has become born again and confessed how they rigged Fayose in. Fayose is popular in Ekiti, no doubt but Obasanjo rejected him because he had serious allegations against him in Britain. Have you ever heard of Fayose travelling to the UK, US or any other western nations? Fayemi congratulated him even before Fayose was declared winner, this is because Fayemi did not want to go through the rigours and expense of the legal process. Remember APC disagreed with him on challenging Fayose's victory. I am not arguing that Jonathan's elections were significantly better than those before him, what I detest is you guys insinuating that elections under this government is the worst in Nigeria's history. We are praying and working for Nigeria's advancement, but there is a section of the country that wish evil for Nigeria because they do not like the president, forgetting that Buhari is not Nigeria. |
AllTheWayUp:You people seem to be confused about the performance of Jega. Most of your colleagues think Jega rigged or at least compromised the elections in favour of Buhari. Now, list how INEC has bastardized elections. What new guidelines or policy has been used to bastardize recent elections? Please explain how Buhari's cousin is more powerful than INEC's chairman. Mind you INEC's chairman's powers are highly limited. The main power of INEC's chairman is as regard presidential elections as he is the presiding officer. In the states, the state's commissioner is the one in charge of governorship elections. |
bedspread:First I am not a young man, I am probably much older than you. Secondly, elections under this government are way better than elections under previous governments except those under Humphrey Nwosu. The worst being Maurice Iwu. Was it not under GEJ that Fayose was rigged into office? Yes, there are still issues with elections under this government, but it is way better that elections under Jonathan. |
bedspread:Do you want me to chronicle the many times PDP had organised sham elections in Nigeria, especially under Maurice Iwu? If it was PDP of old, we would not even be talking of a rerun in a few wards. Under PDP votes were simply allocated to candidates with the results announced in Abuja even before collation at the collation centres. Under APC rigging has been reduced to buying of votes and tearing of results sheets in a couple of wards. PDP organised elections that was criticised by all international observers. |
omisakint:Get your facts right. INEC did not cancel elections in ten local government areas, the appeal court did. INEC declared Oyinlola elected, the appeal court reversed it. If you guys feel INEC flouted the law by ordering a rerun in affected wards, head to the courts to stop the rerun and declare a Adeleke winner. You guys seem to have a short memory and have forgotten the sham elections under Obasanjo"s in Ekiti, Osun, Imo, anambra, etc. Have you forgotten how Mrs Ayoka Adebayo ran for her life and later forced to announce fake results? Have you forgotten how Jonathan used used military and public funds to install fayose? |
TyroneP:I have been in a similar situation before. The lady refused to move out, so the easiest option was for me to move out. I got a new apartment, packed my load to my new apartment and gave her a dead line when I will submit the keys to the landlady. |
TomatoBiscuit:But they are not husband and wife. Are you suggesting he must marry her even when there is no love? People marry and get divorced when they are fed up of each other and you are saying he must live with her for life just because the lady has been squatting with him for a few months |
ajeeeeeee:In his mind he is performing a national service. As he is performing his NYSC, he is the corper in charge of monitoring results. |
infofta:So many illiterate youths in Nigeria. They seem not to know the difference between statement of result and certificate. A statement of result is given by your Alma mater detailing the result of the exam you took while in the school (In this case it was the wasce /Cambridge o level exams) It is given if your actual certificate is not ready or is missing. The statement of result is dated on the day it is given and signed by the principal on sit at that date. A statement of result is legal and is accepted by tertiary institutions, employers and government agencies. I for one never presented my WAEC certificate when being admitted into the university, they accepted a statement of result from my school. |
bebanky:You are either ignorance or lying. There is nothing like compulsory military service for all US citizens, what you have is the draft. The draft requires all male civilians between the ages of 18 and 25 to register with the Selective Service System, so that conscription can be ready should the need for it arise. Not women are not required to register for draft. So being drafted into the US service is just two weeks of jogging and exercise without even learning how to shoot a catapult? Dogging military service is not considered a serious offence in the US. Trump avoided the draft during the Vietnam war and he is US president today. Many US citizens avoid the draft. The NYSC is as useless as the adultery law. No one has been prosecuted under them. Most big men's children have the NYSC certificate delivered to their homes. The best some do is the two weeks exercise session, after that they go home or travel abroad. The certificate would be delivered their doorstep at the end of the year. |
