linearity: Holding him hostage involve lots of resources like holding cell, guarding him, hiding from the huge manhunt that will follow, plus he wouldn’t be able to physical authorize funds, plus the benefits is just one time withdrawal, plus he can go to the police once released.
On the other hand, blackmailing him requires limited resources, he has an incentives not to go public or to the police because of the nude videos, the cash flow is endless, they can even be on his pay roll for life as both parties have mutual benefits in keeping the other happy.
Also, blackmailing is another tool of choice in their toolbox....thieves uses all the tools in the box at will or depending on circumstances...there are thieves that go for ATM cards and not cash, sone go for the cash, some snatch cars, done kingnap others blackmail, etc....in all of these, the end goal is the same. It seems you do not know Nigerian politicians. This season is open season for pastors, alfas and babalawos. As elections is less than 6 months away, Nigerian politicians always seek spiritual help to get or retain power. These times, it is dangerous to enter bus anyhow. This is obviously a ritual (or should I say fraud) gone wrong. if you read the actual linked report, you will discover that this is a case of fraud. The fraudsters probably videod the law maker taking a ritual bath to blackmail him from reporting to the police. This is what the report said; "The video recording is very lengthy but it was edited to blackmail him. He was swindled and the police have recovered over N9 million. The police have the complete recording. He went to his church for a thanksgiving after the incident because he was not killed.”
We recovered over N10 million from them, they are fraudsters who are ready to blackmail him as part of their strategy to stop him from complaining to the police.
“ He was gullible and he fell into the hands of fraudsters. He was lured into the hands of the fraudsters by somebody he claimed he had known for a long time. Unknown to him, the man is a fraudster too and they went ahead to collect a lot of money from him. He went and borrowed because they were collecting the money from him continuously. So you see, the police kept saying fraudsters. The police never said he was abducted or kidnapped. It is not easy to kidnap ordinary law maker, not to talk of a majority leader. They are always followed by truck loads of Mobile Police. There was never any report of him being abducted until the video hit the Internet. If a majority leader of a state house of assembly is ever abducted, the state would be in a lockdown until he is found. |

Biglittlelois: How do you know Mary is praying for you can you actually see her praying?? so in your warped mind if you pray to her, she will then pray God for you, someone that is chilling in heaven jejely Jesus that said"no one comes to the father except through me" did not know what he is saying abi If you feel Mary is unimportant to Jesus and you can't pray to her to ask jesus to intercede on your behalf, how then do you explain John 2:1-11? John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. In this verses, jesus was not ready to reveal himself. He was not ready ready to start performing miracles, but Mary his mother virtually ordered him to. He grudgingly performed the miracle of turning water to wine and hence his very first miracle. Who says Mary can not only influence Jesus in heaven? Are you pentecostals saying that daddy G.O. will have more influence on Jesus than Mary his earthly mother in heaven, and hence Jesus would answer daddy G.O's prayers but not Mary's? |

Bullshit. I have not heard worse crop in my life. Gariki: If you have sex with a man, his DNA lives in you forever That particular spermatozoa must be from methuselah, he is the only one whose body cells do not die. For all other men, their spermatozoa can survive in a woman's body for a maximum of 5 days. This research proves that any man, that a woman has sex with leaves a part of his DNA in the woman. The man who has had more sex with her, leaves more of his DNA in the woman. Which cells does the man live inside a woman's DNA? The DNA is contained inside the nucleus of all the cells that make up the individual. Do the acquired DNA enter all the cells of the woman and change the genetic make up acquired from conception? So when a woman ovulates, the eggs that she produces contain more of other DNAs. Anytime you have sex with another man you become one with that man (spiritually too) and carry the man’s DNA.At some point when you have too many of the male DNA in you; you change, because your cells are changing. The woman’s DNA changes when she has sex with men. So you are insinuating that the eggs of a lady who has had multiple sex partners already has all the DNA of all the men she ever slept with including the Y chromosomes. This study found the presence of genetically distinct male cells in the brain of women. No wonder some women are nymphomaniacs, they have spermatozoa in their brains. This also means these other male cells will be found in a foetus when the woman gets pregnant. Every male you absorb sperm from becomes a living part of your life. Sperm is a living substance. Living cells. It enters your bloodstream and collects in your brain and spine.
When the sperm enters a woman it swims until it hits a wall and then seeps into your flesh. If it’s in your mouth, (abomination) it can get into your nasal areas, behind your eyes and even your inner ear. It then enters your bloodstream and collects in your brain and spine. More bullshit. Sperm can't survive more than a few hours outside the woman's reproductive organ. You can never get rid of it. It becomes a part of you forever. These are the true consequences of sexual intercourse.Original research is from University of Seattle and Fred Hutchinson cancer research center. They accidentally found this when they were researching to find out why pregnant women carrying boys get men neurological diseases. (Visited 1,062 times, 4 visits today) Share this:

Biglittlelois: So having pictures and stickers of pastors is a form of worship? How? Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: do we kneel down to the pictures and pray to it? do we say recitations to the pictures like "Holy Oyedepo or Kumuiyi son of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death", You do similar things. You guys kneel before "a sinner" like yourself and say " man of God pray for me to be healed, have gods blessings and make heaven" and the man of God gives a condition "pay your tithes to me". so if you are in the church and your priest pray for you, you shouldnt believe you're healed or the prayer is answered cos the prayers comes from the mouth of your priest This is what jesus said; John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Jesus never said he gave powers to men of god only to perform healings and and miracles, if you are a true christ follower, you would be empowered to do healings. Even if some people choose to worship these pastors, that is a justification for y'all to worship Mary, build statues of her, kneel to the statue and beg her to tell God to answer your prayer what a shallow reasoning!!! The only reason people bow down and worship pastors is because they are still living, once these men of God dies, his believers would start worshiping their graves, statues and pictures. No one worshipped statues of Mary when she was alive. |

When your Rev. call on the recitation of the rosary dont y'all kneel down and close your eyes in intercession? is that not prayer? why do you beseech Mary? she was just a human being like you and i who God used to bring his Son to the world so why call her Mother of God? isnt that blasphemy? why do y'all kneel down and worship her graven image? beseech her from now till tomorrow, she cannot intercede for y'all, Jesus christ said "no one comes to the father except through me".
As for the pentecoastal pastors y'all love to insult, go ahead, we dont have an idol or graven image of them all around churches where people kneel down for intercession , we dont have rosary recitation of any of them, we dont kneel down holding beads in the hand saying " Hail Oyedepo, Adeboye or Kumuiyi son of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death" doesnt even make rational sense? False! You pentecostals have graven images (pictures) of your G. Os in your homes, work places and your cars, in the former of stickers. Some even wear pictures of their G. Os on their necks. You guys always worship theses men of God, and believe only his prayers can heal you and make God answer your prayers. Now what do you call these? |

The devil is desperately working to drag people into eternal condemnation and those who have chosen to remain in spiritual blindness are the victims. Why not your God work harder to drag people from the external condemnation. How come the the devil is more hardworking and efficient than your God. Man and every other creation was created by God for pleasure (Rev 4:11) and every creation must obey the Creator which is God. I hope it's not what I am thinking The problem with most "Christians" is that they lack knowledge of truth which makes then appear defenceless in the presence of all atheists and unbelievers. How come most Christians lack knowledge of the truth? I thought the holy spirit impacts all knowledge into all Christians. All those who have heard the gospel and have been recreated should strive, be violent in the war to possess their inheritance lest the devil snatches us away like these ones who have deviated. All who hear the gospel should strive to be violent against who exactly? Unbelievers? Terrorists loading. ...... He who hears the gospel and does not believe it, is condemned (John 3:18) The best solution is to teach people to cover their ears once anyone mentions gospel or jesus. Once you do not hear, you remain safe. I wish my forefathers had covered their ears when the white man came with his gospel, we would all have been heaven bound today. |

A fourth reason is to provide confidence. The central bank assures foreign investors that it's ready to take action to protect their investments. It will also prevent a sudden flight to safety and loss of capital for the country. In that way, a strong position in foreign currency reserves can prevent economic crises caused when an event triggers a flight to safety.
Fifth, reserves are always needed to make sure a country will meet its external obligations. These include international payment obligations, [b] including sovereign and commercial debts. obailala: Yes she did; Nigeria was already on the pathway to recession by the time she and GeJ bailed out of the sinking ship in 2015, only for the new captain to come in and was punished with 100% of the blame.
As at May 2015, Nigeria's GDP growth rate had already dropped to 2% (from its average 6-7%); at the rate it was dropping, getting to zero (recession) was inevitable especially given that the primary factor causing the drop (low oil price and meagre reserves) was getting much worse. Also, Nigeria's forex reserve was dropping rapidly (it dropped from ~$40bn to $29bn within 7 months), exchange rate had also dropped from N160/$ to N220 just in early 2015, virtually nothing was allocated for capital expenditure in the 2015 budget (e.g. the Works ministry got less than N20bn for the whole country in 2015), the government was so badly short of cash that over $2bn had to be borrowed in Feb 2015 for things like salaries, fuel importers were owed subsidies running over $2bn in the last 8 months prior to handover, etc etc.
All of the above happened when oil even still sold for over $60. But we all know how oil prices plunged further to less than $30 and how production volumes dropped by over 60% after the new govt took over. But still we have people who think and argue that all was rosy when NOI and GEJ handed over... Wouldn't even know whether to call this ignorance or just. Don't mind wailers (pdp and it's allies), if Okonjo-Iweala and Jonathan were still in charge of the economy when crude crashed to $30, the recession we faced under Buhari would have been child's play. We would have been worse than Venezuela. Wailers should tell us, which oil exporting country that was not adversely affected by the oil crash. |

“As I was coming up from New York, some of the concerns that came up from the meeting we had in China just recently and reports that we have; the debt issues are really big, I mean, having experienced what it was for Ngozi (Okonjo-Iweala) to get debt relief.
“It took her a few years to convince people, and we are now back again in my country, with a level of debt that is worrying, but its happening all over. Africa, is that the way we want to go?
“I think we really need to sit down and have a better conversation about all the asks of a growing economy; that needs to be inclusive, it needs to succeed, because stability is needed more than ever today, across our countries and where we are working.”
In the conversation with Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the IMF, Mohammed had agreed with Lagarde that Okonjo-Iweala was very influential in the debt relief Nigeria secured in 2006 .
Before 2005 , Nigeria had an external debt stock of $36 billion, which had been carried over from the military years, dating back to 1985.
In October 2005 , with Okonjo-Iweala as finance minister, Nigeria and the Paris Club announced a final agreement for debt relief worth $18 billion and an overall reduction of Nigeria’s external debt stock by $30 billion.
The deal was completed on April 21, 2006 , when Nigeria made its final payment and its books were cleared of any Paris Club debt, bringing Nigeria’s external debt profile to just $3 billion while domestic debt was only about N1 trillion. Why are supporters of Mrs world Bank so obsessed with the year 2006? Was that the only year she served as finance minister? Why not also talk about 2014 to 2015 when she was borrowing to pay salaries. In the second coming of madam world Bank, she met an external debt of US$5.67 billion, she then left with an external debt of US$10.71 billion, meaning she almost double Nigeria 's external debt profile despite record crude sales. Buhari on the other hand met an external debt of $10.71 billion and is now about $19 billion. This political season, most of the statistics churned out is simply political, like this one. When referring to Okonjo-Iweala, the report mentioned external debt, but when referring to Buhari, it switched to total debts (both external and internal debts). Why not talk of internal debt also when referring to Okonjo-Iweala. Paris club never cancelled Nigeria’s internal debt. Please note; in March 2014, when Okonjo-Iweala was preparing her exit, Nigeria’s total debt stock was N12.06 trillion or $63.5 billion N12trn debt profile worsens Nigeria’s woes
Nigeria’s total internal and external debt stock stood at N12.06 trillion or $63.5 billion as at the end of March this year, up from N11.2 trillion or $67.726 billion in December 2014 according to figure released by the Debt Management Office (DMO) yesterday. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/n12trn-debt-profile-worsens-nigerias-woes/amp/ |

CoolUsername: And what would be the point of this? Religious education focuses on the theological and historical aspects of religion. Atheism has no compiled texts, so I don't see the academic merit in bringing it into schools. The point is to teach young children that some people do not believe in Gods, spirits or heavens, so they grow up understanding and tolerating atheists. The idea is to stop children growing up to fear or demonize atheists or even think it is some kind of mental illness. Till today many people in third world countries like Nigeria do not believe that some people can live without Gods. |

The Commission on Religious Education in the UK published their recommendation to the department of Education last week, recommending that humanism, secularism, atheism and agnosticism should be included in religious education of children. The commission said, the subject should be renamed Religion and Worldviews to equip young people with respect and empathy for different faiths and viewpoints. It further suggested that Content “must reflect the complex, diverse and plural nature of worldviews”, drawing from “a range of religious, philosophical, spiritual and other approaches to life. - https://amp.theguardian.com/education/2018/sep/09/religious-education-schools-overhaul-reflect-diverse-world |

OLAADEGBU: GOOD TRUMP: President Lends Air Force Two To McCain Family To Bring Body Of Senator To D.C. FREDRIK SANDBERG / Stringer / ByJOSEPH CURL @JOSEPHCURL September 2, 2018
While President Trump was bad-mouthed left and right over the course of Sen. John McCain's five-day funeral and remembrance ceremonies, he actually did the former senator and war hero a solid.
McCain's body was flown to Washington, D.C., on an aircraft that was approved by Trump. "The late Arizona senator's casket was loaded onto one of the jets known as Air Force 2 -- which is often designated for the VP or First Lady's travel," TMZ reported.
McCain's family was also flown on the same plane out of Phoenix on Thursday afternoon after McCain's body lay in state in the Arizona capitol building.
"The 89th Airlift Wing, based out of Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, is responsible for the aircraft as well as Air Force One. McCain's body will be flown to the base, according to a representative of the airlift wing," Arizona Central reported.
"This specific plane has carried the body of a significant figure at least once before, according to the Air Force. In 2001, this plane transported the body of United States Marine and Central Intelligence Agency Operations Officer Johnny Michael Spann. He was the first American killed in combat during the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan."
The plane was a Boeing C-32A, the military version of the Boeing 757. It is only referred to as Air Force Two when the vice president is on board.
But Meghan McCain didn't appear to appreciate Trump's benevolence. At a Saturday memorial service for her father at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Arizona Republican took to the podium and ripped Trump.
“We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness — the real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served,” she said.
Then she said, "The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great." The audience applauded.
No good deed goes unpunished.
https://www.dailywire.com/news/35364/good-trump-president-lends-air-force-two-mccain-joseph-curl Trump should not have approved the aircraft to carry a war hero to a state burial, that would have simply been the beginning of the end for his presidency and the Republican party. The voters would not have forgiven Trump and the Republican party in November. You are talking as if Trump borrowed Mccain his personal jet. This is a jet that is always used for such purposes and you call it one good deed. You really need to see a shrink. |

OLAADEGBU: This video vindicates Trump's claim on the inauguration attendance. Yes, the video vindicates that trump and his people photoshopped his inauguration pictures to make the crowd look larger. Here are the real comparism pictures here; Trump inauguration crowd photos were edited after he intervened
A government photographer edited official pictures of Donald Trump’s inauguration to make the crowd appear bigger following a personal intervention from the president, according to newly released documents.
The photographer cropped out empty space “where the crowd ended” for a new set of pictures requested by Trump on the first morning of his presidency, after he was angered by images showing his audience was smaller than Barack Obama’s in 2009. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/world/2018/sep/06/donald-trump-inauguration-crowd-size-photos-edited Trump and his supporters lies makes Satan look like an amateur. |
