deebrain:Wether it makes him foolish or make him a martyr, whether the caliph commits genocide or rape women at random, the brainwashed believer will obey the instructions of the al-Baghdadi or shekau. Kill yourself or let him help you by beheading you. |
Patented:I must confess I am not so conversant with patent laws. I thought it has the same requirement as intellectual property and copyright laws. From what you said, patent laws and even intellectual property rights is highly complex and varies from country to country. These laws are the perogative of each individual countries, but some countries forge treaties and agreements that protects each other's patent, intellectual and copyright laws. Just like Delishport said, as long as you do not use the original creators name, logo or brand, you will not have any problem. |
ireayomide2015:You provided little details on the machine you are talking about, so it is impossible to comment on the practicality or feasibility of the project. There are many highly technical people here on nairaland that can give useful advice if you are more forth coming. Now to your questions; 1. It is a bit tricky. If the machine has been patented, then you will be violating international patent laws, but I would not say it is a crime. I do not know of any country that criminalize or even punish international patent violations. Asian countries, especially China depends on violating international patent and intellectual property rights to drive it's economy. 2. You cannot patent it, since the machine was copied and not designed by you. The original designers of the machine ( most probably Europeans or Americans) would have already patented it. The Chinese most probably cloned the original of the machine with cheaper materials as usual. Why not make the machine and test it first. |
“I knew all along that Diezani could not deal with having another female around who had the kind of access I had to the president.Abeg, which kind of access did you and aunty Diezani have to the president that other women were not allowed to have? and because of that kind of access, you two decided to sabotage each other. FarahAideed:Jonathan virile? Do you even have an idea what virility means? Which one will you consider more virile, Jonathan that is speculated to have 2 children and Buhari that is known to have sired 10 children? Virility does not mean women fighting over a man, especially if the man is in position of power. Two women fighting over a married president in other climes would lead to his resignation or impeachment. |
generalbush:If you dash your pastor 10% of your salary or earnings to your pastor, how many percentage do you dash your mother who suffered the pains and struggles of birthing, raising and educating you to enable you earn that salary or earnings. |
gentlegenius:That is why most Christians are lost and were led astray by their pastors. It was not Malachi that was referring, it was God passing a message through Malachi. See Malachi 1:1 Malachi 1:1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.Malachi 3 is a continuation of Malachi 2, which is admonitions and condemnation of the priestly class. The tithe message of Malachi 3 is a commandments for priests; Malachi 2:1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. Malachi 2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. This verses say the priests have caused many to stumble and corrupted the covenant of Levi. Does that not look strikingly similar to Nigerian levites (pastors ). Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. The priest were chopping the tithes, so they were robbing God and the nation. |
Kkposky:Offerings to Godsee is as old as humanity itself. Offering is not the same as tithe. Where should we look to see what tithes are used for? Any statement of account? O, I forgot, we can see what tithes are used for in the pastors jets, cars, designer suits, ostentatious lifestyles. Obey which instructions? From God or your pastor? Where is the proof that God instructed you to pay tithe. |
gentlegenius:Malachi 3 did not promise earthly riches to everyone that pays tithes. Now answer this question, who was Malachi 3 referring to? Was it referring to everybody? |
The same thing they make of Luke 10:9-14, that Jesus no send tithers; Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: |
petra1:Which structure? Oh I forgot, the Pharisee structure. The problem is Jesus condemned the Pharisee structure. Says only you . Tithing is a principle , fasting is a principle they are eternalSays Jesus, his desciples and the church for more than 1800 years. The tithing scam is very recent. Tithing and fasting principle is principle the founder of Christianity does not see as a cardinal principle of Christianity. |
petra1:Sorry to say but I you talk like a hardened scammer. You take a quote completely out of context, then use that to justify your tithe scam. Why not quote the whole passage surrounding luke 18:13-14; This is the passage; Luke 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:This is a parable of Jesus in which condemned a Pharisee who feels justified because he fasts and pay tithe and exalted a publican who felt he was a sinner because he does not observe these religious rites. You just nailed your coffin; Jesus does not care about tithing and fasting. You guys are very similar to the pharisees Jesus was always condemning, you feel holier than everyone else and justified because you fast and tithe. |
Deprofessional:Don't mind the collectors, they are ready say anything in order to continue to scam the gullible. Levites ko, Benjaminites ni. Do these gullible people even know what a levites is and how they came about? It seems that the tribe of levi disappeared in Israel and reincarnated in Nigeria, as it is only Nigerian pastors that are claiming descendant of levi today, as an excuse to be collecting tithes |
asuustrike2009:You are the one avoiding the question; If Jesus did not change the laws, why not adhere to all the laws of the old testament, why single out tithe out of the hundreds of old testament laws? Now tell me, did Jesus say we shouldn't keep slaves? Read exodus 21:1 -10 to see some slave laws Jesus did not change. Why are you and your church not buying and keeping slaves according to the law? |
asuustrike2009:Are you a jew? Do the Jews still pay tithes today? ( I am talking of original Jews and not fake jews) If Jesus did not change the laws, why not adhere to all the laws of the old testament, why single out tithe out of the hundreds of old testament laws? |
Abuse keep? You mean a small boy like Daddy Freeze can abuse a whole Adeboye? What kind of abuse? Physical, sexual, psychological or what? Daddy freeze should be arrested immediately. |
UchaNwababa:Then who should lead the fight against your visit or even your fellow state men's visit, if you ever visit Jubril's state. |
nwabobo:Later the same IPOB will say "we are a peaceful organization" Now what do you thing will happen if Buhari goes to the South East and IPOB does as little as hold protests 100 meters from Buhari? I am sure we will hear wailings of Genocide, UN, Hague, US, UK, Israel, etc. You think they would listen to you guys after openly threatening the life of a sitting President? |
Klimaths:Jesus also celebrated Passover in Matthew 26:17, you don't see them celebrating Passover, it is only tithe they see as law from the old testament that is yet to be fulfilled, all other old testament laws have be fulfilled by jesus Christ. |
lonelydora:Were everybody farmers during the time of christ ? Were there no lawyers, physicians, poets, tax collectors, carpenters, blacksmiths, etc during the time of Christ? How did they pay tithes? |
obatoro:You seem to be the only Christian that understands the core message of Jesus, that every one is on the same pedestal as far as God is concerned - no priest, bishop, father, pope is closer to God than you. You can reach god directly without any intermediary. Christ actually fought the prevailing hierarchical order of the Pharisees and Sadducees. It was Paul that that reestablished the hierarchical order to god after the death of Christ. |
Greenarrow01:Jesus never commanded any one to tithe and he certainly never tied tithe as a show of love for him. |
fuckingAyaya:So you are only learning Nigeria's version of Christianity? According to Nigeria's men of God, poverty is a disease, only tithers get gods blessings, protection and riches, you position in the church and in heaven is determined by the size of your tithes and offerings. |
If you and your "man of God" DON'T keep the Sabbath (which is STILL Saturday), you don't celebrate Yom Kippur, you don't wear a Yarmulke, neither is there is Mezuzah on your door. You don't celebrate Bar/Bat Mitzvah for your sons/daughters(or you have no idea what all the Jewish customs mean and you just want Google it now!)...and you are claiming New Testament Levite so that you can eat the offerings in God's "house"... #kontinu |
Jesus never taught tithes as the road to salvation, the disciples never taught tithes as a requirement for salvation, Paul who established the tenants of Christianity never mentioned tithes as important for salvation, but Nigerian pastors and their enslaved sheeples are ready to commit suicide and crusade on top tithe matter. |
reality1010:I mean using a plastic mask of the severed head of Donald Trump. See it here - www.google.com.ng/amp/amp.tmz.com/2017/09/14/kathy-griffin-trump-beheading-photo-hot-ticket-item-prints Promoting violence is a crime, it can encourage sympathizers to carry out violent actions. That is how ISIS get sympathizers in foreign countries to commit violent acts. Whole Soyinka's bluff has nothing to do with the topic at hand. IPOB believes in the use of violence to achieve its political agenda. It promotes violence. |
gidgiddy:The bolded is the being economical with the truth, IPOB main modus operandi is using threats of violence and insults to promote their agenda. All Kanu and its IPOB followers know how to do is insult and threaten everybody who disagrees with their ideology with violence. The IPOB member or official in an IPOB rally who promised or wished ( as you prefer to term it) death to anyone who come out to vote is only speaking for himself, but a Yoruba king or doctor in the privacy of his home who says anybody who does not vote for his candidate in an election is speaking for the whole Yoruba ethnic group. IPOB is threatening violence as the only strategy for forcing the government to agree to a referendum. It has not even considered the political alternatives. It has no political strategy or even base. No government, and I mean no government even in the western world would allow half of what IPOB are getting away with in Nigeria. In the US, Kathy Griffen was invited by the secret service for using the severed head of donald Trump in a photo shoot, and you guys are justifying IPOB's threat to severe the head of Buhari, after that you guy will scream IPOB is not a violent organization. |
gidgiddy:Telling and threatening people not to vote is a serious crime anywhere in the world. If you try this nonsense in the USA, you will not see the sun for a very long time. I am even annoyed that Buhari is allowing this rubbish to continue, all the people that have been intimidating the electorate with violence if they perform their constitutional duty of voting should be arrested and dealt with. The government must make voters feel secure from IPOBs threats and intimidation during this election period. What is the government doing to assure voters of their safety during the elections? I am beginning to think government is complicit in this whole issue, maybe they don't won't high voter turn out to make rigging easier. IPOB cannot decide they want referendum or anything, as IPOB is nothing but group of anarchists lead by one man, they have no authority to demand anything. IPOB, cannot boycott an election they are not a participant in, you only boycott election you candidate or your party is on the ballot. IPOB can only advise sympathizers not to vote. Not all the 2 million plus registered voters are sympathizers of IPOB. Threatening another person with violence is a criminal offense anywhere in the world. |
4kings:What do you mean she is really challenged healthwise and financially? Is there any of us that is not challenged healthwise and financially? How does her being challenged healthwise and financially affect our business transaction? She bought goods worth N300,000 and sold to make a profit. She did not deem it necessary to remit a single naira for the birds she sold. After hiding and remaining incommunicado, without pledging when and how she would pay her debt, she is now giving the challenged healthwise excuse after being threatened with police. I have been doing business for over 20 years and have been told all sorts. Being challenged healthwise is the most common excuse debtors give for not paying their debts, others are close relatives falling sick or even death of their great grand mother. All these are not valid excuses to renege on your debt obligations. Are you aware that the refusal of the woman to pay for the goods collected can lead to health-wise and financial challenges for the OP? Do you know if he borrowed the money and has to pay interest on it? It is still people with your sentimental attitude to business that would still castigate banks for refusing to lend money to small businesses. |
Bibi294:She had not shown any indication she was ready to pay, so if she is given all the time in the world without any threat of police or legal action, she will not pay. I have been in this sort of situation numerous times in the past and I knew what it took to collect my money. |
mrjojo:Good initial move but bad conclusion. You should have extracted a written undertaken from her in the presence of the police officer on her repayment plan and schedule. Nigerians are adept at using emotional blackmail and excuses to avoid responsibilities. What is your business if she has been sick, is it your money she was waiting for to cure her sickness? Would she have died if she did not do business with you? One vital requirement of a successful businessman is to avoid imputing emotions in business decisions. You can't deal with an elderly woman crying and begging you after she reneged on a business obligation? I see you are not prepared for the harsh realities of business. The woman is just posting you, she has not made the decision to pay you yet. She promised to call tomorrow to fix a certain date she is going to pay . Read the above statement again especially the bolded words and tell me if it makes sense. So what happens if she does not call or she does not pay on the fixed date she says. You will be back to square one. You should have made maximum use of the police when you met her at home. You had the element of surprise as she was not expecting you and she was really scared, you would have been able to extract a written commitment from her. You could have even taken a look at her properties and involve seizure of some of her properties in the written commitment. The next time you come with the same police officer, she might be prepared and the police would be getting weary as the operation is not exactly legal. I honestly do not know what to advise you know and you have handed the ball back to her court, you have to wait for her call. |
FRANKOSKI:God never demanded for a N1b naira structure before he can show his presence. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. All these bible verses show that the church is not a building, but a congregation of people. |
There is corporate tithe and private individual tithe like the one we pay, but the one Abraham paid to Melchizedek was a corporate tithe for everything he took from the ‘spoil’ of a war.Corporate tithe and personal tithe? Bible reference please. Is it like corporate tax and income tax? Tithe is not an old testament stuff, we keep missing it. (quoting Matt 23:23).So this is the only passage in the whole of the new testament that justifies the fleecing of members 10% of their income? Let's look at this passage; Matthew 23:23 23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for. ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin , and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Where did Jesus order that 10% of your income must be given to pastors, apostles and disciples? When did mint, anise and cummin become money? Tithing is all about giving, a proof of demonstration of love.False, giving 10% of your income under threats of doom, hell and punishment is no proof of love, it is proof of greed. Nigeria pastors are really fighting hard to keep fleecing vulnerable masses of their hard earned cash to sustain their luxurious lives. |
