PoliticsRe: List Of Players That Won FIFA Under 17 World Cup - Must Read by wirinet(m): 2:17pm On Nov 10, 2015
We over rate Under 17 and other age grade football tournaments. The competitions is used mainly for training European boys with our men . While under 17 players from Europe and South America go on play for Big teams and have illustrious careers, our cup winning "men" go into oblivion and we never hear of them again.

To us winning the Under 17 world cup is an end unto itself.

Imagine two west African teams playing in the finals of the under 17 world cup? Can that ever happen at the real world cup? It is hard enough for two African teams to qualify for the second round of the world cup.

So maginalization according to Biafrans is all about Igbo Presidency? You want to be president but you insult Yoruba and Fulani/hausas. Maybe we should just do away with elections and just appoint an Igbo as president.

What will the Igbos and Nigeria as a whole gain with an Igbo president? What did they gain when we had an Igbo as Prime minister (Okonjo Iweala, an Igbo Central bank Governor and an Igbo sympathizer as both president and pertoleum minister?

Will an igbo president provide you job, food, school for your children, security, etc?

Which of the present set of Igbo political leaders would be acceptable to both Igbos and other Nigerians?

The OP should be featured in a night of a thousand laughs, because this post is a huge joke.

Buhari is responsible for half year decline in profits of companies? Do you know what half year means? It means January to June, so Buhari's one month reign as president from may 29 to June 30 is responsible for all profit decline by companies in Nigeria?

The funniest joke is the one about the decline of MTN's profit in Nigeria and South African . Buhari must be the first presidents of two countries simultaneously in the history of the world.

As for supernatural experiences..........

the life of any man who truly and totally commits himself to Christ is supernatural. 1 john 1:1. We daily experience what we believe.
I have many instances but I will narrate this one only because I hope that peradventure it may convince u:

I'm a Dr. Sometime during my training before crossing from preclinical to clinical, we were required to do medical tests. I tested positive to HBV. 5 Times thereafter I went for the test and it came out as positive. I prayed about it and God spoke to me, He said that I should just follow Him, that the test was not important. I obeyed. some years later after I had graduated, I was walking along the road, when God spoke to me. He simply said" You are free" . and then He opened my eyes to see inside of me, and I could see that I was completely cleansed. Immediately I turned around and entered the nearest diagnostic lab. And the result came out negative.
Some months later, I was required in church to carry out premarital medical tests. Which I did but HBV test was not requested. But out of sincerity I told my fiancee( now my wife), that I once had HBV, she insisted that I repeat the test, I went to the hospital where I worked and repeated it and it was negative.
Now that's just one. I could continue........
As a doctor, i am surprised that you attributed your sero-deconversion from positive to negative of a viral infection to God or to a supernatural event. Are you telling us your case is novel or all such cases are also attributed to the supernatural. You are invariably saying you have not heard of HIV positive patients or Ebola patients (many of whom are not Christians), sero-deconverted. What about Dr. Ada Igonoh who survived Ebola and gave birth a few days ago, was it a supernatural event?

Always existing . Like God is always existing
It is really apparent that you have no knowledge of basic physics. What differentiate matter from energy is mass. Without mass there is no matter. A photon (a unit of electromagnetic energy) is a massless "particle".

Like i said, all there is, was and ever be is energy.

Instead explain how matter is energy in relation to the Einstein's equation . And since they are the same why cant we just stick to energy ? Please answer my second post
If what i said offended you, then i am sorry. I was surprised you did not know what the E = MC2 equation means. It simply means energy is equal to mass multiplied by a constant. The constant is the speed of light multiplied twice.
It the simplest term, it mean mass is very concentrated energy.

I hope you understand now.

Please explain what you mean by eternal.

Even Biafrans could not let go of Fulani women. At the height of the civil war, Gowon was shagging a Biafran girl which resulted in a son, while Ojukwu was shagging a Fulani girl which resulted in a daughter ( Ojukwu even willed a property to her). PoliticsRe: Chief Olu Falae Must Apologise To The Fulani Herdsmen & Fulani People by wirinet(m): 12:16pm On Nov 04, 2015
divineappo:
Few days after the release of the kidnapped chief olu falae, he openly stated on TV that some fulani herdsmen were responsible for his kidnap. He alongside some old yoruba folks openly accused the fulani herdsmen of kidnapping him, he also stated that, he had been having several issues with them. Chief olu falae and his team of yoruba old folks demanded that the government should BANISH the fulani herdsmen from the southwest. I believe that was a wrong, absurd, clueless and brainless way of addressing crime in a state. Its so unbelievable that a former presidential aspirant could raise such a reckless and selfish opinion. Weeks later, the kidnappers were apprehended and arrested, it was so shocking to realised the old man was kidnapped by some young men on the street who were desperately in need of money to celebrate sallah. Honestly am a native of Warri Delta state, am not a fulani man. But the truth is, Is it not proper that, chief falae give an apology to the fulani herdsmen and fulani people in general.
If you are from Delta state, ten why are you carrying Yoruba vs Fulani matter for head? Are you the new appointed spokesman for arewa? Don't your state and community have enough problems to attract your attention?

Fulani nomadic grazing system is a threat not only to Yorubas but to the whole nations. It is a crime for a cattle herder to have his cattle go and destroy the private farms of another farmer, all in the name of freedom of movement. If these herders are not controlled, it as the potential to ignite serious inter ethnic tensions all over the country.
PoliticsRe: Ministers Without Portfolio..... IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL. by wirinet(m): 9:46am On Nov 04, 2015
lawflec:
The recent statements from the chief executive of the fedration of Nigeria that he would not be assigning portfolios to all the nominees has stired the political atmosphere, I decided to take a holistic, moralistic and constitutional look at the whole thing.

First, constitutional speaking : section 147 sub(1) states that There shall be such offices as ministers of the government of the fedration as may be established by the president
. Sub2:Any appointment to the OFFICE OF THE MINISTER of the fedration shall, If the appointment is approved by the senate be made by the president
Sub3:any appointment under subsection 2 of this section shall be in conformity with section 14 of this constitution. With the caveat in keeping to the provision that a minister be appointed from. Each state of the fedration.

Subsection 1 as seen above established an OFFICE and not a ministerial slot. Subsection 2 consequently mandated that such appointment be confirmed by the senate, however it clearly stated that such appointment is into an OFFICE and into a cabinet with a ministerial office and not just to serve as a cabinet sitter. According to the president such ministers who would be having no portfolio would merely be cabinet members. Being a member of cabinet is one without an office, he is merely sitting to deliberate with others and is not going to partake in executing government functions, his position is less than that of a special adviser.

Morally speaking.. If such supposed cabinet members should all come from the south then it definitely would speak tribal of the present administration. The South East presently has no federal appointee (Real Igbo) If any of the prospective ministers from the East central should have no portfolio then Section 14(3) will equally be violated again.
Section 14(3) states that the composition. Of the government of Nigeria. Or its agencies shall reflect the federal character so as to promote national unity and command loyalty. If after December and easterners and southerners are yet to be fully accommodated then the government would be tribal and morally deprave.

The quick explanation given by Femi Adesina would have doused the tension and would have been a panacea to the seemingly lack of fund by government but the recent rebuttal. From the president speaks volume to the fact that he is really determined to humiliate the clear constitutional provisions and he is gladly supported by the chief legislator of the country.

Cc :lalasticlala.
The bolded part of the quote gives the president the discretion to create offices of ministers. It says as may be established by the president and not as must be established by the president. It did not specify that the president must create 36 ministries.

Since the beginning of this democratic dispensation we have never had 36 ministries, so we have always had ministers without portfolios.

Please read this peace from Dr. Ozodi Osuji, It burst your claim of Biafra kingdom being recognized by 1849 (some say since 5000 BC).

Here are extracts;
There are several ways of gathering historical material; one is from written documents, the other is through listening to oral history.

Igbos did not have written materials until the second half of the twentieth century and, therefore, the only way a person writing Igbo history is to know something about Igbos is for him to read what colonial masters wrote about Igbos and or listen to Igbos talk about their history.

All you have written is just a figment of your imagination, you just dug up some highly inaccurate maps, with a biafara or biafar floating in the middle of nowhere and labelled it kingdom.
Even in your map ( probably fake), your Biafra is not even situated in present day Igbo land, it was situated more in the Cameroons and central Africa.

It is only dumb people that takes fayose serious. This is someone that swears Buhari would die in office.

So Fayose and PDP would tell us that they were unaware that Okonjo Iweala had to borrow in the last few Months of the last administration in order to pay salaries.

Here is a reminder:-
In the face of dwindling oil revenues, Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said the Federal Government has borrowed about N473billion to pay salaries and fund the 2015 budget.
The Minister, who was speaking in Abuja on the details of the N4.493trillion appropriation already passed by the National Assembly, said the federal government had to raise its borrowing level from N570 billion to N882 billion to enable it meet its financial obligations to workers and contractors.
The minister blamed it on the decline in oil revenue in late 2014, which accounted for 50 per cent cut in the total federally collectible revenue as well as the low revenue receipts from non-oil sources.

The Daura born Magician's outburst in India lately that Nigeria is totally corrupt and broke was not an accident nor a slip of the tongue. PMB knows exactly what he's doing.
For those who do not know, the Magician does not believe in Capitalist Economy. Neither does he believes in a Private Sector let economy; reason why he's doing everything possible to scare away potential foriegn investors from coming to Nigeria.
Buhari is a down to earth disciple of Socialism; an economic structure where govt executes all the work. His remark; ''Nigeria is broke'' is a ''Socialist statement'', a representation of APC economic policy direction where the central govt Leads in all aspects of economic activities ''Centralism''. Thesame economic structure that led to the collapse of former USSR.
Don't be bothered by this administration's lack of economic blue print because they don't have one. They're all for Socialism (Big Government Economy).
Nigerians have really entered One Chance.
Your statement here would have made for a nice intellectual discuss save your hate jibe at the president.

I would have love to have a debate on which direction Nigeria should go - capitalism, socialism or a balanced mix of the two. I know Buhari is an unrepentant socialist, and as you observed, that is the context in which he said Nigeria is broke. With crude selling at $40 per barrel, there is no way Nigeria can implement any socialist program ( the government cannot even pay salaries).

We are in between the devil and the deep blue sea right now, if we go for capitalism as advocated by IMF without any social safety nets, the social imbalance between a few exploitative capitalist and the vast majority of the poor masses will destroy the very fabric of the nation. A few symptoms of these social unrest are militancy, Boko Haram, IPOB, and lots more will spring up. If we go on the path of socialism, apart from the fact that we cannot afford it, we will still be destroyed by the corruption, inefficiency and wastes that have bedeviled such socialist schemes in the past.

So we need a new innovative way of promoting capitalism without it's expolitative tendencies, and we need to find a way to provide some sort of safety net to the very poor.

I honestly do not believe a lawmaker made these statements, it shows the person knows nothing about law.

PRYCE:
"A court should absolve the nominee before confirmation by this senate"
This is against the Nigerian Legal system. A person stand innocent until proven guilty and not a person is guilty until proven innocent. This legal priniciple had been used again and agin by the PDP throughout the years, eg, Atiku, Stella Oduah, Buruji and even the present Senate president. This principle had been quoted again and again on the floor of the Senate, so it is suprising for PDP to be making a turn around now
"There is a moral obligation on anybody riding on a crest of no corruption to keep his reputation"
Senseless.
"What if we end up confirming a convicted fellow"
What does he mean? Is he saying that Amaechi had already been convicted and we are yet to be aware?
PoliticsRe: Confirmation Of Rotimi Amaechi And Other Ministerial Nominees by wirinet(m): 3:57pm On Oct 29, 2015
Saraki have to confirm Amaechi. Amaechi is one of the few people that can talk to Buhari and Tinubu about his (saraki) case. Amaechi is the one person that can act as a peace maker between the various factions of APC.

Meanwhile PDP has to use anything in their disposal to stop amaechi's confirmation. It will be a big blow to APC and a huge political gain to PDP should Amaechi fail to be nominated.

This is the actual Game of Thrones

But Biafra had always included us. They included us in the1967 by invading our lands and they include us in all their current maps of Biafra, even your Biafran " president" kanu includes us when ever he talks. So don't come lying that Biafra does not include us.

And what made you believe that Ndiigbo as a whole support Wike?

Oh, Wike is not supported as a whole by his Ikwerre people, but you present it like Igbos as a unit support Wike?

Can't you see the folly in that stance of yours as an Igbo man?

If you present Wike as Igbo candidate, and he loses, the Ikwerres who presented themselves as not fully in support of him( Wike) in their slimy nature will rush and identify with Dakuku, while all of them, both Ikwerres and Dakuku people will unite as Rivers people, and point Igbos as enemies of Rivers state government, ie Dakukus government.
If his Ikwerre people are not sticking out their necks for him, don't you think it's foolish for Ndiigbo to do the same.

Whether Dakuku( Amaechi) or Wike wins, Ikwerre interests are well protected in Rivers state.

Ndiigbo should do the same. Work with both Dakuku and Wike individually, but refuse to identify with any of them publicly by way public endorsements or actions that may portray us as supporters of any one of them.
This response shows our Igbo brothers are maturing politically. It is a huge political gamble for 95% of an ethnic group to support one candidate, if the candidate loses, then tribe sink with the candidate. Even if the candidate wins, there is no guarantee that he will not betray the interests of the tribe.

It is political expediency for any tribe or group to have representations in all major political parties to ensure its interests is protected no matter who wins. That is how it is done in the US and other advanced democracies. Although blacks overwhelmingly support the democrats, they also have appreciable presence in the Republican party.

With this level of political maturity, who knows, Igbos might be in contention for the presidency in the near future.
