jeromestarks:Consent is already implied the minute you signed the marriage contract. If you want to withdraw implied consent, dissolve the marriage (contract) first. |
jeromestarks:The you check the definition of Marriage. Why marry if your body (and everything else) belongs to you and his to him. Are you telling me that if your husband dies, his wife has no claim to his properties? |
DeepSight:The tricky issue is withdrawal of consent and not consent itself. Consent itself is encouraging and lack of resistance during penetration . If after initial consensual penetration, she then withdraws consent by saying no more thrust, and you go ahead and continue by force. That would be a legal grey area according to US law. Here in Nigeria, it's a non question. Here even dressing inappropriately to a man's house in most cases is considered consent. |
basilico:Never tired of embarrassing yourself. You are comparing Nigerian standard of rape to the US. In the US rape is defined as unconsented penetration. Even if she comes into your bedroom naked at 4AM, allowed you to kiss her and handle her breasts, the minutes she says no to penetration and you forcefully proceed. That would be termed rape in the US. |
budaatum:After arguing vehemently that the federal government should not be the one ruling on abortion but should be left to the individual states. Hypocrisy and Republicans are synonyms. |
Funflipper:But it's not getting out of hand when black women insults Britain and her sovereign unprovoked. Remember she was the Head of state of 14 other countries including her adopted Trinidad (until 1976). |
MedicH:You want a free world where anyone can insult any leader - dead or alive, but you don't want a free world where gays, lesbians and trans can marry or or even have sex in the privacy of their bedrooms. Is that not an irony? |
basilico:Rough or gentle, it's still boils down to evidence presented. What's actually happened in the room is between only the two of them and God. But the evidences presented in court was enough to convince a jury of 12 beyond all reasonable doubt. There was zero evidence presented in court by Trump's lawyers to support the rigging allegations. They did not accuse any one (in court that is) of participating in the rigging. It it possible to bring a rigging allegations without charging and convicting those that did the rigging? Instead of Trump's lawyers to sue Dominion for rigging elections, its Dominion instead that is suing Trump's lawyers for defamation. |
basilico:Lies mixed with false narrative. The proof of evidence for rape is as stringent that of murder. First you have to proof that there was sex in the first place, before you are required to prove whether its consensual or rape. You need medical, forensic and physical evidence to prove rape before a jury of 12. Finally you need witnesses to collaborate your evidences. Witnesses without any medical, forensic and physical evidence would be thrown out by the judge. Watch his video to understand the perspectives of the Mike Tyson case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlRawW--T24 Now where are the evidences of election rigging you guys are so obsessed with. Which evidences were presented before any courts before calling on witnesses to support?
|
basilico:The testimony of a witness or witnesses alone cannot be used to prosecute a criminal case. First you need there to be an actual murder. Meaning there has to be a body certified dead by a qualified medical doctor. You cannot assume a missing person even after 20 years as murder. Secondly, in most cases you gave to present murder weapon or means of murder, and also a medical report that the murder weapon was the cause of death of the deceased. Thirdly, you have to prove motive and premeditation to differentiate the case from manslaughter or even self defense. Finally, you have to prove these beyond "all reasonable doubts". If all you have in a murder case is a bunch of affidavits or witnesses, the judge will throw you out for wasting his or her time. Replying your stupids assertions can be quite annoying. I do not expect to be explaining basic issues to a supposedly educated person. |
Jamesbiodun:Once again the phone did not technically explode. It burst into flames. If the phone actually exploded in his pocket he would not have had time to quickly remove it from his pocket. His hip and groin area including his long john would have been damaged before he could act. |
delishpot:It's still does not explain why there is blood everywhere. How can you explain the quantity of blood on the chair and on the floor under the chair. The phone itself was not that damaged as it did not show signs of explosion, it shows a burn out. The battery itself which should be the cause of the explosion was still intact. The phone was still intact. If the explosion was powerful enough to shatter a hunan skull, the phone itself would me in pieces. |
Gentlesoul2021:It's very unlikely that phones will explode, burst into flames yes, but actual explosion, no. This is because the Lithium battery used for phone is the Lifepo4, 3.2v pouch cell type that does not explode. The one that can actually explode is the lithium ion, 3.7v type used in laptops that are encased in cylindrical metal casings. |
Shyboyk:It's not the phone but the charger. The charger probably was a cheap Chinese one without an isolation transformer. If it had a transformer, there was no way full 220v would enter the phone. |
SmithRussell:What do you mean by Lithium batteries don’t overcharge. Charging any lithium battery above 4.2v is overcharge. After that it starts to become hot and unstable. |
Lightorder:Gbam you hit the nail on the head. The problem is either lack of overcharge protection as in cheap China phones, or the overcharge protection circuit is faulty. |
NinjaXmetahuman:Lithium battery can only get hot and prone to explosion if it is over charged beyond safe voltage. Fast chargers are the suspected culprit in these explosion because they charge at higher voltages than normally recommended for Lithium batteries. |
seyenko:Oshe. Sherlock Holmes. You suppose to dey work for FBI instead of wasting your talent on nairaland. It's true, its a wonder an explosion of such a small device could cause instant death in your sleep. Also how explosion near the head come cause blood stains in feet areas of the bed. Finally, the battery showed a burn out and not an explosion that projects shrapnel that can kill instantly. |
basilico:Provide evidence that evidence was presented before any judge outside affidavits. Affidavits can never pass as evidence to upturn an election anywhere in the world. If you say that judges up to the Supreme Court did not want to touch the hot potato, then who will you blame? Then how else do you challenge an election? Stop the Congress from certifying the elections? I am still tying to understand why you are still whining about an election that had been decided in the courts and legislature two years ago. It just does not make sense. |
Amah70:Dem tie their anus for there. If they have been massacring you since 1914, why were you still there by 1966, and why are you still there today? Is there something special in Northern Nigeria? Obviously, the life of one Tafawa Balewa or one Ahmadu Bello is worth more than 100 eastern Nigerian or even Northern Nigerian. The lives of people's leaders are always worth more than the lives of ordinary people. That's the way it is even in animal kingdom where the lives of leaders are protected at all cost. Let one man kill a British monarch and see how many people will die in revenge. The killing of Rwandan President Juvenal Habyarimana and his Burundian counterpart, Cyprien Ntaryamira triggered the Rwandan war which led to the death of millions. I understand you guys might not understand as you never had a leadership structure. |
basilico:What's the FBI going to investigate when the Justice Department headed by Bull Barr said the election was free and fair and all elections monitoring groups agreed. What will the judge look at when you guys failed to submit any evidence to the courts. Its only on social media that you submit evidence. If one judge is bias, are you also alleging that all the judges up till the supreme court are slso bias? Rudi Gulianni, Sydney Powell and other Trump's lawyers admitted they have no actual evidence, so what did you expect the judges to do? I how long you will continue yo wail, the election was stolen without producing any evidence. You are becoming schizophrenic over this matter that you require medical help. |
AmazonTopaz:You know the black man especially igbo nationalists are expert at playing the victimisation card. They must look for someone to blame other than themselves for their failings and wrong choices. If it's not witches, wizzards, mother in laws, step mothers, etc for their personal failings, it will be Nigeria, Awolowo, Fulani, Britain, Queen Elizabeth, France, Obama, USA, etc for their collective failings. |
jimyjames:What did they do to her people that has never been done to other people? The vikings and and the Romans did a lot to the angles and Saxons? The Japanese did worse to the Chinese. The Germans did even worse to the Jews. Today, the Russians are doing a lot to the Ukrainians . You will not find these people jubilating at the death of their former enemies leader. Every one learns to move on and face the present and the future. To jubilate at the death of the most powerful monarch of the 20th century and spite the British is the greatest mistake the igbos can ever do. If the ultra loyal British people and their allies start taking it out igbo people, they will start screaming victimisation and hatred. |

MonsieurX:Even though I believe colonialism help Black Africa in accelerating our political, education and social development, the British were only did it for selfish reasons. They taught us English and administration instead of science and technology in order to make us better clerks instead of scientists and technologists. They forced Christianity on us as against our own cultures and belief systems in order to enslave our minds forever. Ever wonder why they translated the Bible to local languages but never books on mathematics, science and technology? |
tctrills:Abeg hold you back from what? Are they the ones holding you back from manufacturing your own weapons, machines and food? Are they the ones stopping you from educating ourselves in science research and development in order to compete with the rest of the world? The whites spent over $10 billion, over a 20 year period with hundreds of scientists just to put a telescope in space to look for the origin of the universe. What has the blackman done or even thought of to contribute to improve the world or knowledge of the world? If we want respect from other races, we have to contribute as a society to the world |
izombie:Abeg helep me ask am fastest growing economy in what? Is it education, industries, infrastructures, agriculture, technology? what exactly is Africa (sub saharan Africa) growing fastest in? Maybe in illiteracy, political instability, population and poverty. I believe they are just caressing our ego to make us feel important. The same Africa that is becoming increasingly indebted to China after escaping the London and Paris clubs. |
lagosrd:From experience I have learnt that you cannot separate emotions from work or any other human activity. Man apart from being a social animal is a very emotional creature. People have to be emotionally involved to more productive at work. If you find your workplace is stressful whether because you have the job or your bosses, your productivity and commitment to the job would be greatly reduced, even with the required skills and qualifications. |
basilico:What's your problem with Joe? You accuse the FBI of not investigating Jim, Hunter and all other Bidens, but you are yet to specify Joe's crimes. The FBI can't be wasting time investigating personal and moral sins of citizens. They have to present their evidence and convince a jury of 12 people. If they cannot proof a crime beyond all reasonable doubt, it will be a waste of investigative and judicial time to bring flimsy evidence before a jury. That's why after two years of investigation by Republican led Senate and the FBI, the FBI was not confident enough to take Hilary Clinton before a judge and jury. |
basilico:I will tolerate your obsession with Hunter Biden today. First of all the law on drugs always applies to possession with intent to sell, transport and distribute and not to possession for use or consumption. Users are considered addicts by law and not criminals. Secondly, in the video you posted, there is no evidence that Hunter Biden was smoking crack, cocaine or any of the other hard drugs. There was no way to ascertain the exact drug he was taking. Thirdly, even if the FBI decicides foolishly to prosecute Hunter Biden, where is the physical evidence to present to a jury? A video from unknown source, location and time would not pass in a law court without any physical evidence.
|
basilico:Here
|
CoolUsername:Is crack possession a criminal offense? What is termed a felony is drug possession for the purpose of sale, transportation or distribution and not for personal use. Besides was crack ever found in Hunter Biden's possession? You expect the FBI to prosecute Joe Biden for his purposely stolen laptop showing a photo (or was it a video) showing him under the influence of drug in his personal space? You guys even expect the FBI to investigate and prosecute Hunter Biden for sleeping with a hooker in his own bedroom or hotel. |
