No, I don't think that was what he meant. It's more like, U should have a mentality makeover. Think and Act like somebody that doesn't have any helper in de world (not that it's the real thing, but it wil help you). The determination and DRIVE that comes with such thinking will mobilize you into going out there against all odds, against any obstacles that come with parental popularity, and make a name for yourself. It will lend you confidence to stand your ground and let everyone know(especially your would-be employer<s>) that you are a woman of your own. You will find yourself making such progress that you might not make still relying on your parents, consciously or unconsciously.

Oh Oh you are seriously the joker. With all the thick pimples on her face.
You wanna know the definition of cute? Go check out Jakie Appiah, Go check out Beyounce. Oh I went too far Check out Omotola. I'm waiting for what you found out.
Beyonce, Rihanna, bla bla bla. It's a known fact that people tend to acclaim outsiders more than their own. Is this a most beautiful contest? There are many facets of beauty. U can't ever find the most beautiful human being on this earth. We should learn to encourage others, not hate. Besides those mentioned above, re they the cutest in their country? Yet they are acclaimed by their own like they are! Naija nawa.

Spyker:
What your girl need is discipline, i had a girl that behaves like that. I simply gave strict warning and conditions concerning her character when we are in public. She is always ready to quarrel or even fight (for me) in the public. She does it out of love for me but what she didn't realized was that i was embarrassed each time she does that. Well, i called her privately and we had a one-on-one chat. I gave her reasons why she must stop that habit. Well, she eventually changed when i started leaving her behind whenever she misbehaves. To cut the long story short, she changed.
boomii:
I agree with this but its not easy easy to change anybody talk less of some one who is temperamental.
Couldn't agree more. The person has to make a conscious and determined personal effort to change. Also it takes God's grace.

Yea, u'll survive it dear. It's really a painful experience to experience heartbreak, , cnt say it'll just disappear cos i mightn't. De most painful part of it being that u might still be in love wit her. You just have to try and take each day one at a time and above all pray(it'll help u) and also set ur priorities. Right now that should be for your studies, remember, A girl might come into ur life now but might not wait for u- she could get married before u finish school, serve ur country, get a job and settle. So be wise. Don't play with ur future. FOCUS & come out successful, and u will find much more beautiful, mature, serious and well trained ladies waiting and wishing to be your CHOSEN ONE! wink

Romance › Re: Please Your Candid, Objective Criticism And Advice Is Sincerely Sought. Help. by Wislet(op): 12:29am On Apr 24, 2010
Due to her insecurities she withdrew from de guy. After a while a friend of his came along, probably having being admiring her from a distance, and a friendship started.
NOW DE PROBLEM: The second guy got to tell this friend of mine that he planned de whole thing with this friend of his(de last guy) to find out if she truly loved him angry My friend is now angry with this 3rd guy for stooping so low to try such. According to the 2nd guy he agreed, after much pressure from this friend of his( de 3rd). The funniest thing is that his friends all seem to have an attraction to the girl. They admire her in one way or de other and have made(still making) attempts to date her- some 4 real, others-na dem sabi.
Right now dis guy- de second, whom she truly loves is not happy wit her and is finding it difficult to stomach her ever dating this his friend.

Pls what should she do? The first guy- the graduate- is not letting her go. He loves her, but she doesn't seem to feel de same way anymore.
The second guy has finally admitted he loves her, but-as she says- he's finding it difficult to forget her dating his friend-- But why im no come talk am like dis before now? And why ever agree to such plan when he never made her position to him clear?
And de 3rd one is finding a way to get de girl back for himself. Not counting others o!

Pls wat should she do now. Cos she loves de 2nd guy & probably has a little attraction 2 de 3rd one. Who should she drop like it's hot, or continue with, if at all.

A friend of mine (actually, someone dat felt i was de only one she could safely confide in wit dis) told me this some days ago, and asked for my advice cos she's truly at a crossroads. I didn't want to judge single handedly and prolly make a mistake when I could seek 4 contributions from great minds like u all. Pls help out. Thanks.

She fell in love with a particular guy- 3 yrs ago- her first love actually (a graduate)- de relationship had been going on fine until last year when she met this other guy who is also a student like her in de university. She truly fell in love with dis guy with a kind of love she never felt for de first one. But according to her, this guy didn't seem to want to put his whole self into de relationship- probably cos he wanted 2 be very sure of her before finalizing. This he never explained to her why, and she'd continually asked him to let her know where she stood with him.

Yea, I can confirm that. In my area in Owerri there's a tremendous improvement in power supply. If at all it goes off, u don't need to pray for its restoration, u KNOW it will come back on in a jiffy! It's really great. Makes homecoming sth to look forward to.

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!!! I lack words 4 a very big rub.bish such as dis. Some ppl re daring de youths to show them dat blood indeed boils! I'd like 2 see if he'd repeat all those on pain of death- de way he can look Nigerians in the face and vomit them. And why in de world would power be sought for by the North again? Wat about de South and indeed East? With de way this country is today, we need fresh, visionary young leaders to restore the faith of even the children in their country. .and not clueless, power-thirsty, rejected old wares! NIGERIA MUST MOVE FORWARD WHETHER THEY WANT IT OR NOT otherwise Nigerians must put them away permanently!
Romance › Betrayal Of Trust? by Wislet(op): 11:32am On Apr 03, 2010
Hello friends, how would you feel if u found out that ur partner (including those u don't know if u really mean anything to them) hacked into your phone to be able to listen to your calls? Is it cool? I mean all the calls you've been receiving for months- from friends and family alike- haven't actually been in your know only! U're being spied on! Not that u're doing anything bad, but is it COOL? Should you be happy someone is doing that to you all in the name of ''you should be happy. It shows i truly love you''. I mean WTF? ? ? Is that an ultimate proof of trust or what?
