CelebritiesRe: Teni Clashes With Shizzi For Claiming He Originally Produced Hit Song, ‘Case' by WoundedLamb: 7:11am On Dec 19, 2021
It's possible he participated in creating the song even if he didn't fully produce it. But it appears he let it all slip away cause he didn't know it would become something big.

“And when you wanted to leave , I gave you all my blessing without hesitation despite all that was done to move your career forward."
So why the change of mind now?

Omicronvaccine:
Teni however asked him to drop the stems of the song and he did but the singer insisted that Shizzi should drop a video of them recording the song.

someone earning 250k in dubai sweeping their roads is far better than banker earning same amount in Nigeria, because in dubai he don't have much on him to spend or worry about things like quality health care and fear of unknown, so let's just stop heaping this Nigeria..
Read your message I quoted, we are comparing a sweeper in Dubai and a 250k earner in Nigeria. Fear of the unknown, peace of mind, etc, are very important but we aren't just comparing both countries. The post I quoted specifically said 250k is nothing since a sweeper in Dubai earns more and I am saying converting the sweeper's salary to Naira to make it look big is not worth it cause the sweeper does not spend in Naira but AED. So to know if a sweeper is better off in terms of salary, the sweeper's expenses must be placed side by side his income. A sweeper in Dubai cannot even live alone except he's got other sources of income.

Regarding this your comment, you meant someone earning 250k AED or NGN in Dubai? Per month or per annum? No sweeper earns 250k AED (neither monthly nor annually). On the average, a sweeper will likely earn 80k AED per annum in Dubai. And if you meant NGN, it's even worse cause if you earn 250k NGN as salary in Dubai, you'll sleep outside.

Dubai is better than Nigeria cause a sweeper in Dubai is far better than a sweeper in Nigeria. But I'll never advise a young boy who's starting off with 250k per month in Nigeria to leave it for a sweeping job in the streets of Dubai except he's got other jobs cause he'll definitely have more purchasing power in Nigeria after expenses. I did the early days of my career in Dubai before returning to North America. While I was earning high as a software dev, I saw the struggles of uneducated African immigrants. I could tell they were only in Dubai cause a similar job in Nigeria wouldn't give them much and not that they liked sharing flats with 8 people. You think if any of these boys started off with a 250k office job in Nigeria, they'd go to UAE to sweep the streets?

point of correction things are affordable in dubai than Nigeria, in dubai, with 200aed you will eat like king, I see things people eat these days and called it food, for how long are we going to continue pretending that things are right in this country huh
This is not about pretending everything is right about Nigeria. This is about making informed statements for the sake of those who come here to get info.

Be specific, 200aed for a plate or for a day? How much is the sweeper's income? Isolating the cost of food does not tell any story if it's not expressed as a percentage of the sweeper's income. After How much does the sweeper earn and what percentage of his salary is 200aed for a plate of food? What does that amount to in a month and how much of his salary is left afterwards? And when his monthly rent value is deducted, what is left? Or can the sweeper's monthly pay cover his annual rent for 1 bedroom? Can he even live alone? These are the economic factors we should be discussing.

I don't know about Nigeria but I've lived in Dubai. I lived in Marina and worked in the Internet City. Anyone who wants to live in a good neighborhood and have his kids go to a good school will tell you the city is expensive. I can't say if it's more affordable than Nigeria as I've never really lived in Nigeria. I said the idea that 250k is not worth much because a sweeper in Dubai earns more is not necessarily valid statement because the sweeper in Dubai spends in the same currency in which he earns. So while the pay maybe higher than 250k when converted to Naira, it doesn't necessarily mean more. For knowledge sake, I'm actually interested in the analysis; tell me the salary of a sweeper in Dubai and let's break down his expenses and that of a single dude earning 250k in Nigeria assuming they both live alone (i.e. not sharing apartment with anyone).

Well, the bolded is so untrue. You, and others like you have made it a point of note to always criticize all men for what a few do. And yes, they are a few. Maybe not in number but percentage wise they are certainly few. In fact, there's a notorious female nairalander who does this regularly.

Now, only a shallow minded person will hold the majority for the crimes of a few. You don't need to lecture me about not all women being like that. I know more good women than bad women. So I would never say that. I only mentioned you here wondering if you would keep to your standards. Yet, in your case, you hold all men responsible even though I'm quite certain you know more good men than men.

I would give you an example from one of your notorious comments. There was a particular thread a certain troll said something really vulgar against a little girl. Your response was something along "see what someone is saying because society allows one gender to act that way". The evidence against that statement was the very thread where he made the statement in which the overwhelming majority bashed him for that statement, men and women alike. Yet, You still hold to your skewed belief that men are never held accountable and allowed to be unruly.

I'm sure you decided on this campaign against men due to some of the things you've read here. But is ignorance the answer to ignorance? Is misandry the cure to misogyny? And before you ask me if I've condemned any one who makes such statement. Then yes, I have.

To the statement that such reports against women are scanty, that is also untrue. You only hear more of the men's case and this is also due to the fact that more men are in positions to commit such crimes than women. For example, brutalisation against maids and servants or nannies who abuse little children is often perpetrated by women. This is because between the two genders, women are the ones who have dealings with them more. This doesn't mean that all women are like that even though there are quite a number of such cases. Why? Because the majority of women do not act that way.

I agree with your last statement. But here you're trailing crumbs of sexism around Nairaland. You're equally yoked with the redpillers.
First, the African society gives men far more privilege/recognition than women. This stems from the religions and culture. This is very obvious and I don't see how saying this suggests in any way that I'm leading a campaign against my own gender. It's like saying "black lives matter" is racism against whites. But even beyond that, men get the laissez-faire treatment when it comes to sexual promiscuity. Many say "it's man's nature". That's why we criticise the baby mamas of our celebrities while still hailing the men "OBO!".

One of the effects of that one sided criticism is the tendency of a male to openly express such ugly desires as the one expressed by the troll I quoted both online and offline, and thereby possibly influencing others. I'm sure that's the point I was making in the post you referenced. Just this evening, I saw a post where the OP was celebrating his sexual adventure with a 16 year old kid in the North. On this app, we have a long and active thread dedicated to men who patronize prostitutes. Younger ones who weren't into that could easily go there to learn the ropes. Such a thread exists because these men don't think there's anything to be ashamed of. It's a man's thing, a lifestyle. We don't usually see women create these threads or type such comments not because they don't enjoy sex, but because the society comes hard on them when it comes to such things. The day female prostitutes try such on here, there's no telling the kind of shaming they'd receive. Therefore, my point in the thread you referenced is, if this criticism was balanced, perhaps these boys or men wouldn't have the courage to boldly acknowledge and share such explorations and exploitations.

You can disagree with me. We're all entitled to our opinions. But I think it's more mature to quote me and express your views like you're doing now, that to go around typing "stupid", "wounded goat", etc. You'd just be insulting without communicating. And quite honestly, I've had called virtually everything you could ever call me. My goal here is to engage people not to fight people. I don't insult people not because I'm a saint but because I know the moment I do that, I lose the person and any other thing I type afterwards would be a waste of time. Sometimes, I ignore insults in order to reach the second party. And I make it a point of duty to take a step back when necessary. I've seen posts made by the so-called red pillers. I hardly ever comment on thier threads because they just go around insulting women without any strong logic. If you think that's what I do, I don't think there's really anything I can say.

Come and blame men here or maybe you should generalize against women as you do men.
Lol... you enjoy my attention. You see, I don't generalize against men. I am a man and if I do that, it means I'm accusing myself too. Heck, I don't even go to threads just to call out men. When you see me discussing gender dichotomy, it's mostly in response to an already demonstrated bias. I also don't engage in banters and name calling. Those don't lead to anywhere and not only will I lose focus by doing that, I'd definitely also not win cause it's not my thing.

I engage people. I read comments and figure out how best to respond in order to pass my message without degenerating into flimsy online fights. I expect that courtesy in return. Those who don't agree with my posts quote me and present my argument or explanation to them provided they go about it in a civil manner. I don't know you. But if you're calling my attention here, it means you've come across my past posts. And if after reading my posts you really think I'm out to attack men, then I don't know what else to say.

Now regarding this thread, the woman is obviously an extremely wicked person and should be made to face the full brunt of the law. That's given. What I find rather awkward is that people only remember gender when the culprit is female. We read news about men killing, kidnapping, raping and hurting others in different ways, and we just criticize the individuals. And then occasionally, we read about crimes committed by women and everyone goes on about how that gender is wicked. What's the rationale for that? Such acts only undermine the seriousness of the case. See someone's comment below:

The future is female......very wicked and evil gender. Spits!
When I speak up against this bias, I'm called a bitter woman (lol). I don't really mind. I'm just typing all these cause I take every conversation as an opportunity to reach other netizens on this app. Nigeria has a lot of division lines already. Adding sexism to it would be disastrous.

250k is not a salary in sane place... go and ask how much original road sweepers are earning in dubai.. Nigeria has gone to the gods... my friend told me, there's hunger in Nigeria that girls now Bleep anything under trousers because of food.. chai cry cry cry
250k is not as bad as you put it.

What you're doing is mere currency conversion and that doesn't really tell the tale. The amount earned by the road sweeper will become big when converted to Naira. But unfortunately, the road sweeper doesn't live in Nigeria and, therefore, does not spend in Naira. What you should be comparing is the basket worth of the pay and not the figure cause money is whatever money can buy. The sweeper lives in Dubai where that pay may not worth much. A 250k earner in Nigeria can decide to set aside a month salary for his annual rent and still get a decent room-and-parlour appartement. I wonder the kind of job one would be doing in Dubai for his monthly salary to be sufficient for an annual rent. In places like the US, Canada, UK, etc, just forget it. A good deal of the entire annual pay goes into rent.

Except one is doing an online job (earning in a foreign currency and spending in Naira), I don't really think it makes sense to convert your foreign pay to your home currency in a bid to make it seem big cause you'd just be chasing illusions. Things are not affordable in Dubai despite the pay.

Generally speaking, my comments in this forum are influenced by my experiences and observations in real life. I happen to know a woman who cleverly murdered her own biological mother to gain an inheritance that never materialized in the end, yet, that cold-blooded killer still walks free to this day. That incident was an eye-opener that educated me about the level of profound evil ANY human being can be capable of perpetrating, regardless of gender.

I certainly agree with you that women do not necessarily dominate crime statistics, but those that are certifiably evil at heart, bring to the table a calculating, cunning, devious, diabolical, and painstakingly methodical mindset that few male criminals could ever hope to match.
I see where you're coming from. Like it's easier to catch a man cause of the mindset that men are more likely to commit a crime. This, therefore, gives the woman a better chance of getting away with crimes. We don't really have much gender dichotomy where I am, but I guess I could say that about races. The black Jamaican guy with dreads and tattoos is more likely to be suspected when a crime is committed than the white guy. Profiling.

I am a man (just in case you ever thought otherwise) and I see how one gender is always attacked here as if they can never do anything right while the attacking gender does just about everything the opposite gender does and more. So I feel the need to call people's attention to this. Nigeria is already suffering from tribalism, classism, sectionalism, religious bigotry, etc. I don't know why these people are bent on adding sexism to the list. It's almost like the people just can't live together. The goal is not to offend anyone, and I sincerely hope you understand this.

Interesting to note that a large number of fraudsters getting apprehended by the EFCC are women. Maybe these female criminals imagine themselves to be above the law because they can summon fake tears on cue when caught, and thereby seek pity. Oh well, they will have plenty of time to shed both fake and real tears when they commence their prison sentences where the sun don't shine.

Oh well, good deal. Next !
What is the endgoal of this gender criticism y'all always do? Now, you think these ladies commit crimes cause they imagine themselves above the law as if crime was meant to be a man's thing alone. Dude, people commit crimes for similar reasons regardless of gender.

It's amazing how you remember to attack the gender only when it suits you. Almost all the EFCC arrests we read about here consists mostly of men, and no one makes it about gender. We all condemn crime and the perpetrators in question. But once y'all see women involved, you remember to bring in gender into the discussion. Always taking every opportunity to take wsipe at the opposite is teenage thing in my opinion. It makes you to lose sight of the decay in society or even condone it in a bid to put another gender in a bad light.

It is erroneous to conclude that iPhones are overhyped.

The iPhone is a premium device that maintains exclusivity to only those that value quality and security. It is a luxury brand that offers value for money hardly seen with other brands. How many smartphones makers still push updates and support to their 6 and 7 year old phones?

Business people and high net worth individuals go for iOS(used to be Blackberry by RIM) as Android devices are easily compromised.
I think you quoted the wrong person. I never mentioned overhyped. I only said I prefer Android and that iPhone marketers are doing a great job seeing how people in Nigeria see their products as a mark of opulence. Most people that use the phone couldn't care less about security but they still strive to get it against all odds.

Android is not even very popular where I stay. I use both Samsung and iPhone products, and I prefer Android on Samsung as I find it more enduser friendly. Android runs on many devices and the security features largely depend on the device kernels. I do my part to stay security conscious both products cause I sure know every device can be hacked provided they're on. And majority of the attacks these days target online data. I don't get overly passionate about things subject to preference. I'm certainly not the one to argue about products like I see people do on here when I'm neither a marketer, producer nor shareholder. I buy what I like and let others buy what they like.

Sex is cheap. As a lady, you can be having sex everyday if that's your thing. Why get involved with a minor?

talk2hb1:
The Headline should be changed to Defile, not rape. You cannot rape minors, minors are defiled.
I knew it, we are fast becoming endangered species.
You can rape a minor. When defilement involves penetration, it is also rape. The word, rape, is not reserved for only adults. Defilement, on the other hand, is reserved for only minors.

Defilement describes criminal and civil offenses in which an adult engages in sexual activity with a minor or exploits a minor for purposes of (the adult’s) sexual gratification. Rape is an act of sexual intercourse with an individual without his or her consent, through force or the threat of force.

Rape can occur to any person regardless of their age, while defilement applies only to minors.

That said, the definition of rape according to both the Nigerian penal code and violence against persons prohibition act makes it difficult to describe sexual assaults as rape where the perpetrator is a woman unless she uses an object to penetrate the victim.

Whatever they want to call it though, child molesters should be made to face the full brunt of the law.

..........proverb 31. Virtuous woman is the one leads her home with integrity ,discipline and more.............
Sir, you're really using the Bible to defend logic? With all due respect to beautiful Christianity, I don't really believe holy books should be used for such things. After all, they say religion is beyond logic. If you think about it, the entire Bible was written by men. Women are represented exactly as they were e perceived by men in those days; precious belongings. Is it not same Bible that says women shouldn't speak or even ask questions in church?

You can argue that prostitution has more negative impact on the ladies. I totally agree. But both genders are equally responsible for its existence. So if your criticism is constructive, if it aimes at decrying prostitution, then it must be balanced. The only reason one would be disecting to find out who should be blamed more is if the end-goal is to put one gender in a bad light, and I sincerely don't see the benefit.

On NL, we have a thread dedicated to men who patronize these ladies, and it is a very long and active one. Do you know of any dedicated to the prostitutes themselves? I guess there's none. The reason is simple, these ladies have been meant to understand that prostitution is not cool, so they aren't as proud doing it as the men who have been given the laissez-faire to do just about anything. Now imagine if this criticism was balanced, maybe that thread wouldn't have been there and maybe those boys who got introduced to such lifestyle via the thread wouldn't have been into it today.

Just a perspective.

I don't have anything against people having sex but prostitution is life threatening. With all the things happening in Nigeria, someone would still have the courage to follow a stranger home at night? With all the STI's out there, some would still have the courage to sleep with a man who's obviously into prostitues? No KYC, nothing. I'm not judging anyone cause life is hard and prostitution is still better than defrauding people, but this is not something I'd ever advise anyone to go into.
