I've always said that APC and Buhari are banking on doing the magic in their 'strongholds' of Kano, Katsina, Kaduna and even Lagos! The one of Lagos is why he needs Tinubu onside! It's easier to rig in these states because they have minions that can help do the needful while being protected by the compromised army and police! |
Tyche:I don't envy them...they've got the toughest job in the world! |
XhosaNostra:I think you've misunderstood my line of argument! I'm in in no way making light of what Mandela went through, or saying that the Boers weren't an evil lot! I'm also in no way saying that but for Nigeria, Mandela wouldn't have been the outstanding person he became! Rather, i was trying to tell the m'oron i quoted that had Mandela had the kind of adversaries Mazi Kanu and Igbos have in Nigeria, he would in all probability been finished off in prison! I ain't making idle talk...our history is replete with examples of the murderous and malevolent nature of the problem we face in Nigeria! There's the likes of MKO Abiola; his wife Kudirat; Ken Saro Wiwa; Adaka Boro, etc, to help buttress my point! All these people mentioned were finished off by 'the Nigerian state' for daring to ask for justice for themselves and their people! They were not given 27 years in prison or allowed to write letters to friends and loved ones, and they didn't leave prison with their sanity and health still intact like Mandela did! It's this same Boers that finally caved in and ended the apartheid! Over here, if it came to a choice between giving up their privileges and toeing the path of justice, or maintaining the status-quo, our evil lot would sooner die than acquiesce to the former! As evil as the Boers were, i don't think there's stories of them going into villages and wiping out all the male population; engaging in murderous orgies of violence in the streets that saw tens of thousands of innocent individuals hacked to death within a space of a few weeks....with babies snatched out of their mothers wombs and smashed on the rocks! The situation becomes more dire when you realise this wasn't done by some foreign invaders...a different race, as is the case with South Africa, but rather the evil was committed by persons of the same race....supposed fellow 'countrymen'! Since 1966, Ndigbo in 'one Nigeria' (and other ethnicities) are equally going through a form of political and social 'apartheid' at the hands of the northern Hausa-Fulani oligarchy! Though i concede that it in no way is comparable to what the indigenous Africans were put through in South Africa! |
Originalsly:Rubbish! Madiba didn't have our murderous northern oligarchs to deal with! The Boers still dey learn work for where our lot dey! ![]() |
KingOfAllIgbos:This coming from one who thinks 'one Nigeria' is actually a viable concept!? 'One Nigeria'....a creation of a slave trader of the British Empire, together with his puss'y on the side is what this moro'n i'm quoting believes in, yet he's good to talk!? In this shithole you call a country, i've come to accept that what could pass for the incredulous and utterly insane in saner climes, could easily pass for 'normal' in Nigeria! We may never know what really happened in London last year when your god -at the time a virtual sack of bones with one foot already in the grave- was being treated for a debilitating ailment (the diagnosis of which has been hidden from the Nigerian taxpayer that foot the bill to this day), but given the penchant of the core muslim northern oligarchy to acquire and cling on to power by any means necessary, i wouldn't put it past them to have made some clandestine moves to retain power in their region in the event of your gods demise! It's possible that somewhere in Mazi Kanus' claim lays an element of truth! I'm not losing sleep over finding it! I support Mazi Kanu and the Biafran agenda because i know a Nigeria in which i'm made to share the same nationality with hateful, primitive, murderous and bigoted schmucks like you is just not a viable option for Ndigbo if we are to progress rapidly and compete with the likes of Singapore, Dubai and China! However, i'm also being pragmatic about the whole issue and placing first-things-first, believe that removing your murderous god Buhari is the immediate challenge that faces us as a people.....this is where Mazi Kanu and i differ slightly! I would support Ndigbo coming out en-masse to vote for Atiku...and then we'll take things from there! I don't see the core north agreeing to the kind of restructuring that would make me and other Biafrans agitating for separation to be satisfied, but like i said; first-things-first....we'll cross that bridge when we reach it! I'm mighty proud of Mazi Kanu for all he's doing to free our people from the bondage that is 'one Nigeria', but being Igbo and a reasonable person, i also realise that no man is infallible and that i'm bound to have divergent opinions from his own from time to time! All Mazi Kanu can do is give his take on any given issue, and it's left for every individual Igbo/Biafran to either side with him or agree to disagree and do what they think is expedient for the wider Igbo/Biafran cause! |
EzeNri:Do yourself a favour and shut da fuc/k up! You're not Igbo!!! I'm also not in agreement with Mazi Kanu on all issues, but i'll be damned if i join Igbo haters (who wouldn't even bat an eyelid if we're wiped off the face of the earth) to abuse him on an open forum such as this! |
osuofia2:Don't mind the mofos! They come across as being so holier-than-thou and insecure.....always mouthing off about Catholics, instead of concerning themselves with their own lives and relationship with God! Kinda like a jealous busy-body, peeping in through the window of his neighbour, while his own house is on fire! |
StupidInyamiri:You may change monikers, but it's always easy to tell who you are! Your r'etarded nature follows you around wherever you go like a bad smell! ![]() |
AfroBlue:If this story is true, it only shows that even Ghana holds the man in high esteem as he, in all likelihood, entered Ghana without a passport! Didn't your evil Buhari/APC gov't declare Mazi Kanu a terrorist, meaning 'friendly' countries holding diplomatic relations with Nigeria are obligated not to give him sanctuary? The joke is on you! ![]() |
midolian:See this Igbo hating twerp! So all of a sudden you're concerned about the welfare of Ndigbo, and that Mazi Kanu 'abandoned' them!? How is Mazi Kanus' relationship with his followers and Ndigbo any of your fuc/king business? Have you finished occupying your time with the failings and stupidity of your god Buhari? |
Ofuzo:If things were being done properly in this country, then cities would have been allowed to retain at least 50% of the revenue they generate to help run the city! As with Owerri, the same case can be made for other cities in the country like Lagos, Onitsha and Port Harcourt! |
Codedruns1:I'm with you on the bolded! The fact we want to patronise local contractors shouldn't mean we should settle for sub-standard quality! Using local contractors that do shabby jobs that get defective after one rainy season is a false economy b'cos the gov't will still have to come back to the same road and spend more money to reconstruct it! It's better to spend good money on a qualified contractor and do the job once and for all! Of course this would mean that not as many roads will be done like before, but the few critical ones done would be done tastefully and last for much longer! |
Abagworo:Rochas is finishing better...maybe not as well as one would have liked! If those IGR 3rd quarter figures for 2018 are correct then it shows the Imo state gov't has improved its efforts to provide a conducive business climate in the state, enumerate the correct number of businesses, and tax them accordingly! Also, it shows that more of the IGR collected is being returned to gov't coffers instead of private pockets! The Anambra, Ebonyi and Abia state gov'ts should compare notes with their Imo counterparts to see what they need to focus and improve on! |
Hehehehehe ![]() Sneaky thread title to draw in the zombies! ![]() |
biosilicon:I hope you know that second video you uploaded is showing a clip from YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE starring Sean Connery as 007!? ![]() |
fk001:It was all about the guarantee and preservation of their strategic economic and hegemonic interests in the region after they left in 1960! After all the headache and palaver the likes of Zik, Awo and Enahoro gave them which eventually led to independence on 1st oct' 1960, if it were you, would you have handed over the reins of leadership to these wily, smart and well-read southerners, or would you have been more comfortable with the more placid and compliant northern elite? |
AeroplaneApple:Watched it about 3 days ago and was meaning to create a thread on it, but was procrastinating until ManyEsq beat me to it! It was very enlightening to say the least! Mr Nnadi gave a first-class lecture on why Nigeria is the way it is: why the northern and southern protectorates were joined together in 1914; why it's a fallacy to say oil exploitation began in 1958 in Oloibiri (this is what you and i where erroneously taught in school as kids); why the core-northern muslim oligarchs have such a strong love affair and affinity with the British; and why the Nigerian constitution is a fraud! If you can spare a bit of data, it would be worth your while to watch it! |
Corrinthians:Not possible! The efulefu quota for the year has been filled up by all those Igbo bastards in APC! ![]() One thing you fail to understand about Ndigbo is that -besides God- we are our own boss! Mazi Kanus' stay-at-home advice, is just that...an advice! If you're looking for where a single individual orders a fatwa and his followers obey him without question, then you're barking up the wrong tree! ![]() |
sarrki:Oh boy...see close marking! ![]() The OP had barely finished composing and posting his brilliant piece before you were all over him like a rash! |
visijo:Probably the opposite of what those Lazarus was owing felt! |
TechCapon:Unless those guys were caught with a dead body and a knife dripping with blood, all of you are just pure evil for carrying out and condoning this wicked act! |
Not for the Nigerian electorate...all that writing of protest letters and firing off swear-laden emails to their representatives over their woeful performance! They just bid their time till the mofo is foolhardy enough to visit his constituency, then they waylay the guy and give him the beating of his life! ![]() The northern electorate are quite adept at this, and it seems to be the best and most effective way to reach out to Nigerian politicians! ![]() |
GarriKoro:Hehehehe ![]() |
GarriKoro:Nice try! This is a targeted intervention at Fulani herdsmen and their herding business, and is quite different from the example you cited in that the stalls and shops built in the north are for everyone to rent (not built specifically built for 'Ibos'), and are leased out at the ongoing market rate for shops in the area....no subsidised rates! Besides, the example you gave was relating to state and local govt's, and i'm sure you can find similar instances in the south-east as well! The issue we're discussing here has to do with the federal gov't spending our national commonwealth to aid one ethnic group to further a business that's unique to them! We'd be talking of fairness if the same federal gov't rendered a similar level of support to a business unique to 'Ibos' (say, spare-parts business for instance ), barring which we'd equally be happy if said funds were put into upgrading Onitsha main market to world class status! |
Nice one! Anyone knows when the assistance to Igbo traders is coming? I'm expecting a 100 billion naira leg-up, seeing as they're scattered all over the country! Can't wait!! ![]() |
baliyubla:Hehehehehe ![]() Bros, you over-estimate the capacity of Nigerians to vote without tribal and religious sentiment! ![]() |
sureheaven:Quit being a smart arsse! Wasn't Fayose the current governor during the last Ekiti elections? Did it stop the APC rigging machine from sweeping him, his chosen candidate and PDP out of Ekiti gov't house? |
He would know.....he knows all their nasty secrets! ![]() |
id911:Hehehehehe ![]() See his african lips...like kpomo N100! |
AngryNigerian22:I can't believe you got 20 likes for this rubbish you posted? This is Lagos we're talking about here....or are you saying the 'flat head pigs' have no right to live there, and those who do are living there b'cos YOU were 'graceful and kind' enough to allow them? Can you pretend you've not heard of how these 'flat head pigs' want a separate existence from you, and how you and your ilk have cheered on the python dancers in their bid to kill them and silence their agitation? Just what exactly does 'one Nigeria' mean to you? Lastly, what's your state? I wanna see if you're indigenous to Lagos or if you ran away from your state as well, like you accuse the 'flat head pigs' of doing! ![]() |
Abagworo:This unfortunately is how most world-class, multi-million dollar projects billed for the south-east end up! They are launched with such fanfare and hype, then few months down the line, they're dead and forgotten! Why is it that with the limited land space we have in the south-east for real-estate, no one is thinking of building a couple of high-rise apartments and office blocks? Looking at the pics Arinze is uploading of Owerri, it's quite obvious land management isn't part of the agenda given the way low-rise buildings and bungalows take up all the available space...doing the same job five or six 15 story buildings could quite easily do! Very frustrating and annoying! ![]() |
