Abagworo:There's this line of thought making the rounds that Ndigbo should play 'the right type of politics' and not be left out of the power equation at the centre. Now my question is: you happen to know what Imo has gained or what Rochas caused to be brought to Imo as a result of the state being in tune with Abuja? Last i checked, the person Rochas nominated to be minister is serving as a junior beneath a newspaper editor of northern extraction who Buhari made the substantive minister of education! |
LOL@ 'followed them to make sure they left'! ![]() |
upower123:You may just as well ask why most of the French world cup winning squad are black! Qatar obviously gave accelerated citizenship approval to gifted, young Africans to boost their chances in competitions like this one. |
toluleke:WEAK! |
Hehehehehe ![]() These hats they wear makes them look like The Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist! Albeit, a black/older version! ![]() |
azpekuliar:Don't really think so. Notice how the train slows down for safety reasons when passing through non-stop stations. |
That possibly could be the same distance between Port Harcourt and Aba....done within the blinking of an eye! |
I think in this instance it's better not to do strong-head and try to claim right...that's if you don't want to be marked out by the lecturer as one to be dealt with! More so if your GPA is on shaky ground! ![]() |
enoch273:lucifer still dey learn work for where Naija criminals dey! |
Good effort Arinze! The landscaping of open spaces (if any) is just not up to scratch! ![]() |
The blocks of high-rise apartments they said was being built, are they still on it or have they been abandoned? I think they were called diaspora village....apartments, or something like that. |
SalamRushdie:He's not! He's just analysed our situation and place in 'one Nigeria' over and beyond useless Nigerian partisan politics that's always rigged in favour of the ruling cabal at any given point in time! Let's not kid ourselves....we've been conducting elections from 1960 to date, and are you really expecting uhuru and El-Dorado just because Peter Obi is the running mate to Atiku? You honestly think Buhari and his desperate set of minions will sit down and allow a fair and transparent electoral process that would in all likelihood see to their comprehensive and shameful defeat? I can tell you for nothing that the process has already been rigged in APC/Buharis' favour even before the first vote has been cast! The day ALL Ndigbo/Biafrans and their elite start thinking long-term like Mazi Kanu, is the day we all will be free from the shackles that are holding us down in a country that sees us as not being any better than slaves! |
helinues:To what end? Is FG feeding them? |
Parada:Just zip it mate! I suppose up until the coming of Mazi Kanu and IPOB, your ilk had overwhelming love and respect for Ndigbo and ensured they were treated as equals abi? |
AnanseK:Just as soon as you admit that Igbos are sick and tired of sharing the same country with primitive-minded toerags like you! By the way, what's your ethnic group? I'm sure you lot can teach Ndigbo a thing or two about honesty, love, clean-living and spirituality! ![]() |
Lordofthewest:Hehehehehe ![]() Mah worry! The author of the story and the uploader to nairaland are just as hateful of Igbos as you are....just that they were smart to say 'Nigerian' and not Igbo so their bigotry and hate wouldn't be that obvious! ![]() Quick question though: care to tell us how you know the dude is from 'your five south-east' states and not Rivers or Delta? ![]() |
I've always suspected a lot of northerners (among them...loads of illegals) would be displaced by the insecurity in the north and the more peaceful south would be an automatic first choice for relocation! Some of them are just innocent individuals caught up in the madness and looking for new economic opportunities and safety! However, there's bound to be a wicked few among them....sleeper cells, just waiting for the green-light to unleash mayhem on the unsuspecting and naive 'one Nigeria' southerners who are blissfully unaware of the danger lurking in the shadows besides them, and who go to bed with a smile on their faces in the mistaken belief that the danger is happening far far away up north! |
Henry1006:But for the core Muslim north and their insistence on running things (even when it's as clear as day that they're lacking the requisite manpower when compared to the south)....but for them, we would have elected a Moghalu type by now instead of all these same-old-same-old politicians whose only qualification seems to be ex-military or ex-customs officer of the fulani stock! And before anyone points out that the south presented a similar type in the person of Obasanjo, we should ask ourselves just who were the shadowy figures behind his emergence as president! |
Meti99:All Nigerians are the problem, not just the youth! The political elite consider where to pitch their tent based primarily on selfish, religious and ethnic considerations! Expecting them to champion the candidacy of a Mother Theresa, Mandela or Obama figure while the good money is on a Buhari or Atiku win means we're expecting too much from them! |
magoo10:You're being a tad too optimistic and trusting if you think this INEC will allow any person other than Buhari to be declared the winner! |
When hell freezes over! |
dreamwords:Wizkid overtake him for where? If you say Davido, maybe i'd agree with you, but Davido needs to up his game too b'cos he hasn't released another song to keep him up there since fire-fire-burn! Wizkid is just thriving on hype! With Tekno it's more about the music, and the guy is really talented if i'm to be frank....he can, produce, sing, dance and play instruments! He just needs to improve on his lyrical content and he'd be one of the greatest! |
Asshurbanipal:You would think! In a true nation, Buhari would have been finished ions ago! But this is Nigeria, where those presently running things....and who think they own the country, wouldn't touch Buhari even if he's caught with a dead body and a knife dripping with blood! They've gone and conscripted the help of some in the south who claim to be sophisticated and are acting in the best interests of Nigeria can be summed up by the 'crabs in a barrel' mentality! |
I hope the Edo governor was kept at arms length! He would be the eyes and ears of the wicked cabal in the meeting and report back to them ASAP! |
OpenYourEyes1:Do you know what 'worship' means? Did the Catholics tell you they're worshipping Mary? Did they tell you they think that statue is Mary? I'm willing to bet you're one of these rabid, prosperity-gospel Pentecostals that make noise all over the place in the name of 'speaking in tongues' and 'casting out demons'! |
Was watching a vlog on Youtube of a family Christmas get-together at Nnewi! I must say, i was impressed with the entire cleanliness and ambience of the village....not to mention the well tarred roads, expensive cars and nice looking mansions! Almost forgot at some point that i was looking at someones village, as parts of the clip actually looked like a higbrow area in Ikoyi or Lekki! You'd be hard-pressed to find another village in Nigeria that looks this good! It's all individual effort and testament to the enterprising nature of Ndigbo! Anyone know which Nnewi this is? Clip courtesy of Chuches' mind! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiyI-wp_mk4 |
Shawnnn01:If you're looking for who to blame for the death of non-combatants during the uncivil war, you're barking up the wrong tree mate! ![]() |
alhassanyusuf29:See this embittered Fulani sack of s'hit! You must have beautiful Bianca confused with you mama and filthy sisters! ![]() |
DMerciful:You would think! It's like you don't know how difficult Nigerians can be!? Some are quite prepared to go through hell if it means favouring their kinsman or religion against a perceived 'enemy' whose only 'crime' is to come from a different ethnicity or religion! |
lexy2014:This makes me respect Mazi Kanu all the more! He even had the balls to tell his oppressors to go tell their boss that Mazi Kanu talk say him dey craze! |
Asshurbanipal:If there's any mopping up of votes being done, i know which devilish set of people are primarily responsible! It would be difficult for this country to get this so called 'democracy' experiment right with this kind of characters in control of things at the centre! |
