Racoon: The reality of Buhari failure is staring us all as providing security is the most important function of every responsible govt.
Strangely, all the hypocritical human rights activists & sociopolitical critics including zombies during Jonathan regime have wicked gone mute.
Karma is here. You will all live with it.
You know the bolded is quite perplexing!
All those human-rights and activist bodies you mentioned have not only gone quiet as a mouse over the massive insecurity and human-rights abuses rampant in this regime, but we also haven't heard kpim from all those protestors that took over Lagos in 2012 and were threatening fire and brimstone if the fuel subsidy was removed!
mybestlove: What went wrong is when Buhari came in 1983 as military and 2015 as civilian.
But mostly is the gullibility of Nigerians and the politics of hatred.
The north has 82% blame of the status quo. They are the problem of the south.
Without the north, southern Nigeria as a country will be the pride of Africa.
Argue with your ancestors
There's no need to argue with my ancestors b'cos i agree with you....to a large extent that is!
Though we in the south (the elite most especially) should shoulder at least 18% of the blame for not having the sense and balls to read the riot act to the hegemonic north on a take-it-or-leave-it basis!
Nigeria, with its faulty foundation, was always bound to encounter problems, but what compounded our problem was when semi-illiterate, visionless, bigoted and self-centred core northern muslims (esp those in the military) started calling the shots after the 1966 coup, while intelligent, liberal and world-respected leaders like Zik and Awo were relegated to mere spectators!
Ibegtodiffer: Allowing Buba Galadima go was a huge mistake by Buhari & a blessing to Nigerians. That guy knows tooooo much. What baffles me is that, the guy doesn't show a sign of fear for Buhari! He says whatever he wants to & you can clearly see that he knows what he is saying!
I laughed when i watched him on Channels dare anyone to mention Buhari and integrity in the same sentence to his hearing! Dude doesn't pull his punches!
davecris: Madam you can talk about ur manifesto without leveraging on dead soldiers.
You mean a presidential candidate shouldn't comment on the reported killing of Nigerian soldiers just because it will negatively impact the chances of your chosen candidate Buhari?
Tell me how her statement leveraged on the death of those soldiers to the benefit of her campaign.
Omnipresent: Read in between the lines I never called you an igbo hater, or maybe. And no it's insulting to profer solution to a discussion created by a chronic Igbo hater. His intentions are not sincere, but you can keep feigning ignorance .
Both the OP and the waste of space you quoted are not what they purport to be! They're probably both northern muslims here to set the cat amongst the pigeons to maintain divisions in the south and by extension preserve their northern-muslim hegemony and 'one Nigeria'!
kaen1317: No right thinking southeasterner will vote APC not after Operation Python dance. The only dance the south easterners want to see is Operation Back to Daura dance
Any Igbo that even entertains the possibility of voting for that evil anti-Igbo party after what Buhari has/hasn't done to/for Ndigbo needs to seriously question their paternity!
APC should leave Igbos alone since they say we're an inconsequential 5%! Instead, they should focus on the Kano, Katsina, Bornu, and other core-north and South-West states where they claim to have solid support that will deliver on the day!
There's some marked improvement in the ambience and development of Owerri! What it needs now is to seriously green up all these new and upcoming areas with trees and lawns! It doesn't appear to be on Rochas' to do list so maybe the next governor can take it up as a focal point of governance!
Xda59: In less than 40 days, you all will be running g for your lives. PMB untill 2023 whether you like it or not.
Hehehehe
Partisan-politics as practiced in Nigeria can be funny! In saner climes, parties appeal for your votes and reason with you why their candidate is the best choice....but in Nigeria, you're threatened to vote their candidate or told to fuc/k off!
RevLikeBigYansh: Go and buy stolen goods knowing fully well that the goods in question were stolen.
Even if we should exonerate Buhari from being actively involved in executing the coup we should hold him accountable for not honoring the oath of loyalty to Shagari his CnC.
Officers have been executed for less talk more of Buhari who benefited from the coup the most. The case of an officer who was executed alongside Gideon Okah for knowing that a coup was in the making but refused to inform his superiors. This same officer was detained by Buhari after he reported the coup plot against Shagari. During IBB, he was aware of a coup plot but because he suffered arrest when he informed on Buhari's coup plot, he chose to remain silent. He was executed alongside the coupists not as an active conspirator but for failing to inform his superior officers.
Now of that Yoruba officer can be executed for not informing on a coup he knew was on the way but to which he had no part in, then what do you expect the fate of Buhari to be?
Funnily enough, that 'Buhari was not aware' ruse that worked so well for them in the past as a get-out-of-jail card, is still being used by them today!
Cyoung4real: This is where you all have to give the JUBRIL stuff a listening ears because if Buhari said this same thing in 2015, I don't think he will have repeat it again this year. That been said, This is jubril talking. APC forget to tell him that buhari said this in 2015.
festacman: Not good to talk bad about the dead but our history is important if we must move forward as a country. Now let's face it.
One of the greatest mistakes made in this country happened when the the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) jettisoned the late erudite Maitama Sule for timid and naive late Shehu Shagari. Just like Goodluck Jonathan, Shagari who was a good guy in government allowed characters like Umaru Dikko and his younger brother, Ibrahim Tahir, AMA Akinloye, Mark Okoye, etc to loot national treasury.
Consequently, Nigeria was in economic crises in 1983 just like the recent post-PDP looting era of 2015 that led us to recession.
Interestingly at such two critical times (1983 & 2015) of our life as a nation, the lot fell on Buhari to restore order. The first time, Babangida truncated it. This second time around, every effort should be made help Buhari finish this seemingly divine assignment. It is not a coincidence.
Rubbish! Of course you just had to find a way to include an Igbo name in your stupid list didn't you!
I bet, like me, some people are hearing of this Mark Okoye for the first time!
If this were to be a yoruba leader Ipob sympathizers will start wailing about hate speech as it they have the monopoly of hate
keep quiet abeg!
You're the one making it an ethnic thing! He said Ndigbo shouldn't vote for that waste of space because he hasn't done anything to deserve their votes....*esp' in light of his ill-advised 5% speech (*emphasis mine)! Now if he had said don't vote for Buhari so Ndigbo can have a shot at the presidency in future like your sons Osibanjo and Fashola have said, then that would be taking things tribal!
baliyubla: "on economy Nigerians are farming, on security Boko holds no local government compared to the 17 under PDP, on corruption before I arrest you when with khaki, now I can't with Agbada". Same limited rhetorics.
I swear that's all the dullard said in his campaign speech, even after having to go through ordinary protocols on a sheet of paper.
Worst is this mans handlers know he's empty and are trying to hide it by any means possible, the reason for this thread.
Supporters of the dullard are the real enemies of Nigeria.
I cringed in embarrassment when i saw him on the news yesterday! He was so uninspiring and boring, i almost dozed off at some point!
eyeview: Look at how an elderly man is lying. That's why values have since left our nation
He can get away with it because he's running for office in Nigeria....a country where anything goes because the electorate are very dumb! He couldn't have tried this in say the US or UK! For a start, he'd have to go around to different TV studios to explain himself, his policies and what the hell he's been doing these past four years...not to mention the fact that he would have to attend presidential debates, where he'd be savaged by his opponents!
Inside Orange Drug Boss, Dr Tony Ezenna's New Mansion In Ikoyi, Lagos
I know this has been discussed two weeks ago, but just saw a Youtube clip that really does justice to this exquisite abode and shows it off in more detail! I can safely say this is one of the best looking mansions i've ever seen in Nigeria!
In case you were wondering....they used the 'Baroque Style' of architecture in the interior and exterior of this mansion!
Guestlander: Why are they not saying the same things about other tribes? Are ibos the only Nigerians who are not Yoruba?
Because they see Ndigbo as the biggest threat for whatever reason!
Take Lagos for example: the Yoruba that harbour negative sentiments towards Igbos (of which many of them are on this forum) see Igbos as the biggest threat to their claimed ownership and hegemony of Lagos!
CyberWolf: I don’t usually do this but I have to openly declare where I stand. I was a staunch supporter of PDP especially during the 2015 general election but because of some recent changes in the political inclination of my family, I formally defect from PDP to APC. My reason is not because APC is better than PDP( they are the same as far as I’m concerned), but because politics is a game of interest and most especially, family over everything. So as from today, I’m supporting APC in next year’s election. APC!!!!! Next Level!!! 4+4
cc: Lalasticlala oya oo .. to the promise land
The bolded is the story of politics and governance in Nigeria! Quite pathetic!
Osagyefo98: We don't cause division or derail igbo thread.....rather you and your fellow brothers are the ones planting seed of disunity in igboland.
Your political elites has sent most of you out to make sure there is no unity in igboland...we are aware and know when such meetings were held....i only blame the ignorant once who defend u without actually knowing your mission is to destablize, causing disunity and enhance distrust in igboland.
The earlier you remove yourself entirely from igbo issues the better for you. The earlier you disassociate yourself from igbo matters the better for you.
One day u will incure the wrath of amadioha on yourself.
What happened to rivers state? Is that not where u from? Or are u not aware? Why are u so concerned in other matters when rivers state is on fire or is it not ur businness. You can deceive others but not us.
Face rivers state....
Face your ethnic group and leave igbos alone. It is because of people like you that igbos have not know peace.
Stare clear of igbo affairs and face your ethnic group or tribe....
Ada agwa ochi nti na-agha esu.....
So mention ways in which i've been a destabilising influence on Igbo -themed threads!
What in your view makes someone from say Nnewi Igbo and someone from Ndoni non-Igbo? Are you determining who is or isn't Igbo based on the carving up of Igboland in 1967 by Gowon and his evil enablers?
Why are you desperate for me to jettison my Igbo identity and take on one (Rivers State) given to me by 'one Nigeria'?
Why are you (and your numerous other alternate monikers) so uncomfortable with my presence on these threads, and ALWAYS advising that i leave and 'face Rivers state'? Could it be because i seem to be the only one that's clued-on to your vile mission?
You've ruined the Pan-Igbo thread, and i've called you out on it! Now you've turned your diseased attention to the Anambra and Enugu threads....always posting old disgusting pics of Igbo cities and trying to set one Igbo state/person against another!
You're one sad pathetic excuse for a human being, and your case would be even more dire if you're actually Igbo.....but i doubt you are!
It's the moderators that are allowing you to get away with all this nonsense!
OlaMiki: no one want to sit behind or at d back of the stage . your foolishness will no make u reason. let dat mumu post d picture of the front stage and sit infront of the stage
No one want to sit behind or at the back maka why? Are they watching Michael Jackson or Beyoncé that they have to face the stage?
bkool7: Since Badeh is under corruption investigation his family won't want to admit the narration that he was killed for his money. But no cause for alarm, we have two survivals in the attack. So I don't think the police can afford to be mischievous
How can the family say, even #500 was not in the vehicle that day. That had better be hyperbolic
Since his accounts were frozen solid, i'm guessing you're referring to the money he kept under his mattress or the one you loaned him!
