ckenneths:Where did they find the space for that? |
Just mention the name Ojukwu, and you'll have 'one Nigeria' Igbo-hating bastards rushing in to try and derail the thread! Works like clockwork every time! ![]() |
papalsbuIl:Their brothers are down in the SE as we speak, forming Rambo and looking for innocent and unarmed civilians to bully! |
Spyder, you have pics of Park Lane...from Ekulu Primary School area to the hospital at the other end of the road? Wanna see if it's still serene as i remember it to be. |
ckenneths:See Enugu looking like Abuja! ![]() |
ckenneths:Was gonna say Enugu, but was thinking it could be Onitsha (around that posh Niger Drive area)! ![]() The GRAs in Owerri, Abakaliki and Umuahia don't have this kind of thick and lush greenery! GRA Aba is also nice...but a bit rough round the edges, unlike the ones in Enugu and Onitsha! |
raker300:These must be old pics. I'm certain work and landscaping has advanced more than what's shown in the pics. |
ckenneths:It's got to be a GRA in one of the SE cities! |
Johnnyessence:Well TECHNICALLY, they're still on track with the promised change: CHANGE is what's happenning as never in the annals of partisan politics in Nigeria have we witnessed such brazen acts of vote buying (AKA: vote and show), and we may never see the likes of it again if hopefully APC is kicked out at the centre come 2019! Just playing the devils advocate here that's all i'm doing. ![]() |
emmie14:Until they're collared and hurled into jail, Nigerians abroad think everywhere is like lawless Naija where it's survival of the fittest and every man for himself! ![]() |
horsepower101:Asking Rochas to get a qualified contractor and do a durable job is asking for too much! The way it is now (even if the road runs the risk of being washed away by flooding two years after construction), he can point to this as one of his delivered projects to Ndi-Imo. Not using qualified contractors to build durable and long-lasting projects is one of the problems i have with Rochas. |
nnamdijonathan:Abdulsamad Rabiu appears to be a fair minded person...that's all we ever ask for! Much better than those who only think of establishing giant warehouse in the region to sell products manufactured somewhere else. Ebony is now poised to host two giant cement manufacturing plants...and this is just for starters! With the planned airport, this state is one to watch in the next five years! |
docadams:I can imagine the kind of Igbo hating bigot that would like this your post! ![]() |
hammer6F:Don't mind them! So what exactly was done last year when they shut the airport over the busy Christmas period? So if the SE governors hadn't made noise about the decrepit state of the airport these guys wouldn't have known it needs a comprehensive work done and not all this ad-hoc/patch-patch measures they been doing so far? One thing i've come to realise about this wicked gov't in power is that when there's a hue and cry about any injustice anywhere in the SS or SE they rush down with talk of plans to do this and that to wet the appetite, and when things calm down not much ever changes. |
Victornezzar:It's either one person arguing with himself or two or more people doing likewise! Their aim is to derail the thread! It's sad enough if it's more than one person doing this with the aim of derailing this and other Igbo threads, but it's even more sad if it's one person with the same objective having all these monikers with which he uses to argue with himself! They think what they're doing is normal, but the hate some people have for Igbos and the fear they harbour of Igbos speaking with one voice to challenge the status-quo is actually driving them insane! |
Neoteny:There's you being clever by half again! You have a mad man in your home...one that has criminal tendencies...and one that gives your family of morally upright and saintly individuals a bad name in public! So what do you do? According to neoteny, you keep a vise-like grip on him (even when he's expressed the willingness to leave) to remain with you in your home. When you're asked the reason for this foolhardiness you say the onus is on the mad man to stop his 'madness'!? Now does that sound like the stand of a reasonable person? Nigeria (a country in which Igbos last held power at the centre in 1966) is the country with the highest number of poor people in the world; a country where basic amenities are either dilapidated or non-existent; a country recorded as one of the unsafest places for women in the world; a place with the worst human developmental indices in the world; a place where murder has become so commonplace as to be rendered unnewsworthy; a place where corruption thrives like fish in a pond; a country in which Yoruba and core northern muslims (who according to you are prime examples of moral rectitude and saintliness) have held power at the centre the most since 1966....we have these facts starring us in the face yet neoteny wants to argue that Igbos are his problem since they're the ones that ruined Nigeria and gave it a bad name! Check the list of the biggest convicted felons and looters of the national commonwealth and tell me how many Igbos feature in it! By the way what's your own ethnicity, just so we can see things in their proper perspective? |
BIAFRONIGERIAN:They're not good enough to be president....only good enough to stop boko bullets! Any Igbo man that dies for Nigeria (esp' in the NE) is a fool! |
Neoteny:An even better approach would be for all you 'saints' and 'angels' to come together and speak with one voice in supporting Biafra (whatever its configuration), so you can be rid of those 'criminal Igbos' for good, keep one Nigeria to yourselves, and show the world just how a crime-free society should look like! ![]() |
internationalman:Carry your toxic attitude and go jump in the lagoon! You don't see the mum is liteskinned!? Or you think everyone should be as black as you just because they're Africans!? |
fergie001:Parochial and ethnic based politics is the bane of most African societies. It's not just a Ngwa, Abia, Igbo or Nigerian thing! If you were to make Ngwa a state tomorrow, you'd still see some bastards come up during election time to say they're being marginalized in Ngwa State and that it's their turn to produce governor! It's what selfish, visionless and inexperienced individuals hang on to so they can edge out others in the race to get elected! |
Looks like Abians just couldn't be arssed to find the time to take clear pics to sell their state properly! ![]() |
Really sad! It's the same all over Nigeria! To us development means building up every square inch of space with ugly buildings, open gutters and no vegetation! |
Prof Barth Nnaji says the SE economic team are going to build a standard guage rail network for the region and link it up with the ports in the SS...this will be private sector and state gov't driven. You see how we're paying out of our pockets to build Police Academy and railway network in our region? These are projects which others have done in their own regions by the federal gov't or federal gov't borrowed loans which all of us will pay back! I'm just spelling all this out for the naive 'one Nigeria' igbos still out there! |
Guys, remember that working train service that ran from Enugu to Port Harcourt...the one that was fixed during the GEJ admin...the one that got us all excited? Well, was watching this Channels news report and just found out it's dead! Can anyone living in Enugu help us confirm this? I remember even Amaechi was surprised at the level of train operations he met on ground when he newly became minister. In the attached clip, from 4.40 you get to hear that the line hasn't been in operation for over a year now! I know it's not as sexy as the Kaduna-Abuja one that is fully functioning as we speak, or the Lagos-Ibadan one being built at the speed of light, but it did the business (albeit a bit slowly) and was a novel and safe way of travelling between Enugu and Port Harcourt. Meanwhile, efulefu Igbos in APC are telling us Ndigbo never had it so good as they are presently having it under the Buhari admin! ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW-PlWYwjSo |
schoolboij:It's little wonder your capacity to reason is quite limited....seeing as you're a 'schoolboi'! You make sweeping and unfounded statements that have no more grounding in reality than Santa Claus or The Little Mermaid! When you talk of 'the rest of Nigeria' knowing that Ndigbo are more criminally minded than all others, what do you base this on? The last time a Igbo was Head of State or President was with Ironsi...since then it's been mainly core northern muslims and Yoruba that have led the affairs of this country! With this in mind, since the 'criminal Igbos' have left you saints to call the shots, i'm expecting Nigeria to be a bastion of development, and prosperity...having near zero corruption in governance! Dude, is this the case? Igbo means crime where you come from? Interesting! Care to tell us where this place is you come from? We just may have found group of people that could teach Ndigbo the virtues of honesty and good moral conduct! So i ask again, where are you from? |
ckenneths:It can't pass church! Asking for a grand and imposing amphitheatre in Okigwe is asking for too much! ![]() |
ckenneths:I'd rather they chased out the animals and turned the place into a housing estate than have those poor animals live in miserable conditions and starve to death. |
Ioannes:Dude, you're talking to me, not the entire Igbo race who in any event never sent anyone out to make any comment one way or the other about anyone else! Now care to point out where i have 'opened my brown teeth' to laugh at others criminality when it's posted on this forum, or stated that they have more proclivity towards committing crime than Igbos? I have noticed on this forum that when it comes to Igbos there's more threads of Igbos engaged or purported to be engaged in crime that's created and rushed to the front page. Now does that mean Igbos are more criminally minded than say the Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani....i'm asking you? You and i can't control what members of this forum comment about one way or the other....be they Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa/Fulani! Especially as many monikers that engage in this malfeasance are possibly owned by one person out to create mischief and division. There's not much you, i or the Igbo nation can do about that. My issue was with Nairaland and not individual members who no one can control! The bolded part of your post, are you implying those crimes are committed more by Igbos or what? I don't get your point of listing them! What's your own ethnicity, let's see how you and yours stack up on the crime leader board when compared to Igbos. I hope you can see what's happening here: YOU ARE NOW FALLING FOR THE LIE THAT IGBOS LEAD IN ALL THE CRIMES YOU LISTED UP THERE...AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS AGENDA OF SEARCHING FOR CRIMES INVOLVING IGBOS AND RUSHING THEM TO THE FRONT PAGE AIMS TO ACHIEVE! Why bring Biafra into this? Care to point out where anyone in support of Biafra has said it would be a crime free society? Having said that, the level of crime in a society can be linked to the level of decay in governance such a society tolerates. Nigeria is so crime ridden because there's a failure in governance at all levels and the foundations on which the country is built are very shaky at best. Biafra would be a society in which its foundation...its fundamentals....its articles of association are first agreed by all its component parts who would WILLINGLY submit themselves and not be coerced to be party to anything at gunpoint as is presently the case with Nigeria. Nigeria is a country where some believe they are owners and have the right to rule over others...these are the faulty foundations that lead to other problems of which a high incidence of crime and corruption are some. Your problem is that you hate Biafra because you'd be left on your own to sort out your own mess and wouldn't have others to help insulate you from your own madness as is presently the case with your 'one Nigeria'. |
mapet:Quick question: would this pipeline cover industrial centres in Onitsha, Nnewi, Enugu and Aba? If not, is there anyone already existing that serves these centres that maybe i'm not aware of? |
ekojoe:For industrial and commercial use: for industrial estates like was done by OBJ for Agbara in Ogun state; for power stations; and also for domestic use like cooking. |
HungerBAD:I'll tell you what's going on: there's a concerted effort on this forum to demarket Alaigbo and caste Igbos in a negative light. It's obvious by the way they scour the net looking for negative stories about us to post here, and before you know it a thread started just a few minutes ago is rushed to the front page...while not forgetting to add the Igbo state the culprit is from. It's a well rehearsed and well-oiled operation. One wonders how someone will find out about a 'Chinedu' purported to have committed a crime in a far flung south east asian country, without having to dig the internet for it. Most of these stories are carried on blogs or websites that you as a Nigerian concerned with Nigerian issues wouldn't know of unless you're actually googling for specific stories to use to paint Ndigbo black! Tell me your ethnicity and i'll provide you with a list of crooks from your neck of the woods that would make you recoil in horror! |
These pathetic fools have started again! |
