Sometimes it's better to keep shut about things u know nothing about. Do u know the number of fleets in airpeace? do you know how much each plane cost? do you know where the money came from? where was Barr. Allen prior 2009? how did someone who studied conflict resolution raised those billions? u r calling ND ppl drunkards? do u know who awarded him contracts in multiples of billions? do u know the people that sank their money in the airline? like I said, sometimes it's best to keep shut about things u don't know.
No, we don't know! Humour us!

It's obvious you have a serious case of bad-belle! Looks like you can't bear the fact the CEO and owner is Igbo!

Dumb question! Give them a choice first before gloating! You hold a gun to their heads, forcing them to be Nigerians by-fire-or-by-force, so what are you getting excited about?

Their kinsfolk have been murdered, kidnapped and thrown in jail all for asking for a referendum to determine if they want to remain Nigerians, and you're here asking silly questions!

I don't have any issue with what they said because it is no secret that the present administration is corrupt. However, I have an issue with the USA being the umpire and judge of corruption. Who gave them the right to make statements on a sovereign state?

Even if they are to make statements like this, there are many diplomatic ways of doing so.
If you don't want a lecture from them on good governance and respect for human rights then stop taking their financial aid.

Yet you voted for APC at the state and federal level in 2015, and are poised to do it again next year!

You need to realise that APC represents the virulent form of ethnic and fulani-hegemonic politics in its purest form that has been the bane of our existence as a country since 1960! It's a party primarily set up to further fulani interests and is supported in its quest by greedy and naive middlebelt and southern politicians!

Kabiyesi Sir, you cannot separate Saraki's appearance at the festival some few months to the general election and few weeks after dumping the APC for PDP from politics. The good people of Ijebu wouldn't have raised an eyebrow if he had attended the festival last year or next year after the election.
What if we use the same argument regarding the conferring of the highest national honour on MKO by Buhari earlier this year?

EEDC is the enemy within. It is the enemy of Igbo progress. The saddest part about this is that it is owned by an igbo man, Emeka Offor. He is a big disgrace and one of the biggest obstacle to our ambitions to industrialize.

Anytime an Igbo person builds a power plant or tries to build one, he gets into a fight with them to stop them. He did it with Barth Nnaji and now he is also doing it to Ariaria traders who took the initiative to provide their own electricity.

Someone should tell that greedy bastard to retrace his steps.
The guy is turning out to be a liability to Ndigbo!

The best Amaechi could do last Christmas, rather than face the shame of Ndiigbo patronizing Enugu International Airport was to shut it down.

Asking them to use Port Harcourt. Forcing Igbo to make the long journey of traveling from Lagos to East and Abuja to East

Somebody need to tell him that the dayz Igbo did that have past.

Igbo dont even want to use Lagos or Abuja, they want it in their state if possible or Enugu.

He better not try that this year.(Christmas)
There's something i'm struggling to understand though. If they shut down AIIA Enugu over the christmas period last year, with the excuse that they wanted to fix the runway, how come there was this uproar a few months ago about the decrepit state of this same AIIA runway that they shut the airport to fix? huh

Abagworo, I have a feeling that the SE will be far more developed than Rivers or be it Port Harcourt in the next 20 years.

There pace of growth and development in a short space of time is astonishing.

Further, I think Port Harcourt should be competing with Cities like Abuja, if not Lagos.

It really goes to show the extent of rape that followed the Biafra war on Rivers and how it has affected development and in deed the people of the state, from Ikwere, Ekpeye to Ogoni.
Two things happened that prevented Port Harcourt from taking its predestined place as the richest and most viable city in Nigeria...a crown which Lagos finally took!

First was the change in the revenue sharing formula down from the hitherto 50% the regions formerly collected. And the second was a two-pronged/double-edged attack on Ndigbo that first saw the removal of the Igbo identity Port Harcourt formerly had, removing Igbo influence and control of the city and handing it over to the Ijaw with the creation of Rivers state; and secondly the abandoned property issue that made Ndigbo finally lose confidence to invest in Port Harcourt...they no more saw it as home.

If the revenue sharing formula hadn't changed, and Ndigbo remained confident investing in Port Harcourt like they did pre-1966...taking it as the economic hub of the Eastern Region, the city would have overtaken Lagos latest by two decades into independence!

Do you know how the FG stifled Ibeto's importation, claiming that he should prove his production capacity first before importing more products, but at the same time gave Dangote his competition tax waivers for importation?

Oga say the truth for once, the only administration that was ever fair to Ibeto is Umaru Musa Yaradua (of blessed memory)

But with his recent acquisition of Nigercem, he is going to bounce back
Bros, it's like some people are not aware of the negative feelings some people and groups harbour towards Ndigbo, and the clandestine power the federal government has to stifle or destroy any business some bigots in government set their sights on!

Our greatest undoing as a people is our trusting and naive nature. You could see it exhibited far back in some of the actions/inactions of Zik, Ikemba, Nzeogwu, and more recently in the actions/inactions of Ohaneze, Igbo politicians and Igbo business men! When you point out the obvious inequalities in the Nigerian business and political environment, these gullible mofos will tell you just what our traducers love to hear: that all other ethnicities, regions, states businesses and individuals are suffering the same thing!

Do we have a comprehensive database of businesses in Igboland? This is the era of data, where business decision is influenced by business intelligence derived from accurate data analysis.
I guess its time, if none is existing, we should have sound data detailing investment opportunities and lists of existing businesses in Igboland.
I've suggested some time back that we need a comprehensive yellow pages of all the businesses in Igboland. It should be categorised state by state, and have locations and possibly phone numbers and online addresses stated. This could also help state governments in their IGR drive.

Are we supposed to get excited over this embarrassment of a Resort? They will call resorts and Oguta Lake will get up to join Disney!

For crying out loud, Rochas should get a serious investor for this as well as the Palm Estate at Ohaji! Oguta Lake could be a viable and profitable concern for the state as well as place it on the world tourism destination map if they can only get serious and invest serious money into it (would need at least $100 Million) instead of all this kobo-kobo, half-hearted nonsense Rochas is doing!
