igboamakaaa:Any worthwhile Igbo-driven project going on in the south-east....these Buhari minions will want to point to it as ‘proof’ that Buhari is ‘fair to Ndigbo and we’ve never had it so good as we’re having it now’! Most if not all big-ticket projects planned or ongoing in the east were either started during past regimes of Yar A’dua/GEJ or they are projects initiated/owned/financed by Igbos themselves! Meanwhile, pan over to core-muslim-north (particularly states like Kaduna, Katsina, etc) and you notice most of their planned or ongoing big-ticket projects are federally owned/driven....avariciously driven primarily by the bigot-in-chief himself who wants to grab as much as he can to his core-northern region in as short a time as possible! The unfinished ones he inherited from past regimes, he has rushed to complete them as if anything is chasing him....and neglecting other regions (esp’ the 5 percenters) in the process! Nobody should just mention Buhari on this thread! Whatever is happening in the south-east is inspite of him, so no one should try and sell us a dummy that Buhari is fair and balanced towards ALL regions/states/peoples because he is not! |
Lynx001:Hehehehe ![]() Wicked! ![]() They (Gowon and his southern adviser) probably thought the one they left behind in the then East Central State was inconsequential and not of commercial quantity! |
joelbooks:Because he’s about to be given the Ambode treatment! |
Chibuzoc:You do have to wonder at the lengths they will go to in trying to silence a group they claim is inconsequential and lacks following! Even on this forum, those that claim such are always quick to fall in to every IPOB/Kanu thread to vent their frustration, and could well end up spending the whole day dragging issues! |
Fowler should challenge the mofo to a boxing match and punch his face in! |
chrisdstar:Okorocha had an unorthodox stylee in his approach to governance! |
dukeprince50:Quit sounding daft! Igbos are equally blessed with a lot of oyel and gas...we don't need any from your so called SS! You're barking up the wrong tree! You should be trying to wrest control of your resources from the real leeching culprits...unless you wanna tell me you're in control of said resources as we speak!? |
holicupp:It's one person with multiple monikers or a group of people responsible for all this anti-Igbo and divisive posts and threads we've been seeing lately! They went for the jugular on Christmas day....creating thread upon thread, and making post upon post all aimed at trying to make it look like Igbos are divided and have the worst governance in Nigeria! They failed of course! ![]() |
BeautifulMind2:Love the matured way you handled that vile troll! You have a lovely wife and kid! ![]() |
Taba21:Hehehehe ![]() This is what ‘one Nigeria’ is all about! Some thinking they’re ‘born-to-rule’ while they tag others as ‘inferior’! |
dukeprince50:And as a Ndoni/Igbo/ND pure-breed i’m telling you i’d rather leave with Ndigbo than spend one extra second as a Nigerian or part of some amorphous, none-defined Niger-Delta Republic devoid of my blud! You being Ijaw...you’re more than welcome to go form your country without Ndigbo! I’ll even pray you succeed! At least then you’d be in control of your own resources and destiny! Ultimately, all i want is for ethnicities in the Eastern Region to be free....whether individually or as a part-component of a lager collective that doesn’t include the Fulani! |
rottennaija:Never say never again! Especially as you speak for just yourself and possibly your immediate family! I’ve given logical reasons why Ibomites would prefer either Biafra or to be a independent nation in their own right! You on the other hand has given nothing but the usual anti-Igbo rants! Go suck a lemon! |
I just love this man walahi! He’s not one to thread softly so he doesn’t hurt some ‘sensitive feelings’! He says it as it is and doesn’t give a fuc/k whose ox is gored! ![]() |
Blackking98:Nice one! Then the only other reasonable option is to go it alone and have your own country devoid of the ‘big bad’ Igbos! ![]() |
rottennaija:Akwa-Ibom has interest in Biafra! The few who don’t are probably the thieving politicians and their thugs presently ‘enjoying’ from the status-quo! Akwa-Ibom as a whole, if given the options of having a country of their own or Biafra on the one hand, and on the other...a fractious hell-hole that is ‘one Nigeria’....presently owned and controlled by northern muslim oligarchs...and in which Ibomites have no ownership/control of their resources and destiny, of the two options which one do you think the majority would root for? |
daddytime:It’s their tusks i’m more worried about! ![]() |
rottennaija:You really are funny! Ethnicities in the Niger-Delta have lived...traded...and intermarried with Igbos for centuries to the extent you now notice similarities in traditions...language....values....and politics! At no time did Igbos visit a expansionist/empire agenda on her neighbours to the point where the entire eastern region would have a single language....authoritarian leadership....religion....or become acculturated to a common/monolithic political leaning! So what makes you now think in the event of Biafra being actualised, Igbos would now begin to act totally out of character and ‘boss/claim ownership of everything’ as you say? Have you even asked yourself what the nature and articles of association (constitution) between the different components of the new country would be before saying one component would ‘dominate’ the rest as is presently the case in your darling ‘one Nigeria’? Or are you now saying Igbos would FORCE other ethnicities in the Niger-Delta into Biafra? If so, care to tell me exactly how Igbos would accomplish this? Your position leads one to believe you think these Niger-Delta ethnicities are presently getting a fair deal in your ‘one Nigeria’ under the imposed Fulani/military constitution and political-economy we currently operate! You see how you come across as being quite unreasonable? |
otuekong1:You post is a collection of unfounded crap! Who gives a shit about who a Kwale man trusts and who he doesn't trust? I don't know what empirical evidence you have to burtress your assertion but in the event of Biafra being realised, no one will be forced to leave their darling 'one Nigeria' and pitch their tent with the newly emergent nation! That second assertion on Anioma giving in to the lure of pecuniary gain in deciding which state they prefer....where and when was it discussed that they were given a choice between the two states, and at what time did they declare that they prefer Delta state as they don't wanna starve!? Struggle for Biafra not done with sincerity? That's news to me! I suppose a 'one Nigerianist' like you is a expert on sincerity, honesty, fairness, morality, and the like! You're one to talk aren't you! You bigots are a funny lot! Your fruitless efforts on this forum harping on non-existent divisions in Alaigbo are just comical to say the least! |
otuekong1:You come across as being quite daft! Who told you Igbos are only found in 'your core 5 states'? When whining at least try and whine with commonsense! How will Igbos go about forcing themselves on you...with arms or what? |
tsdarkside:When Biafra is realised just go to any Biafran consulate, show them this thread and say you're the notorious tsdarkside and that you're threatening to apply for visa! You will then receive payment, shown the door, and referred to the embassy of Afghanistan to try your luck there! |
tsdarkside:My people sell drugs openly in western nations!? That's a bold assertion! You've gone to these nations...seen people selling drugs, and identified them as being Igbo? Or was there a study done that led you to believe that: 1) Igbos are known for drugs, and 2) Igbos are the ones selling drugs openly in the west as you assert? What was the score of the Edo and Yoruba in this study? Also, you said whites and asians are talking about Igbos being known for...and selling drugs in the west and asia! Care to provide us with the proof? You say it's not hard to spot a Igbo abroad? Do they have Igbo written on their foreheads? What countries have you gone to and found it easy to 'spot Igbos'? You've still not told me your ethnicity! Respond to ALL the points i raised so you can back up your assertions! Cheers! ![]() |
tsdarkside:On what basis are you tagging Biafra a 'drugs country'? Also, what's your ethnicity? ![]() |
tsdarkside:Don't flatter yourself mate! Biafra would even pay to keep you out! |
maiunguwar:Same here! |
topboss:We don’t promote/support our artists enough! |
hammerU:There’s a reluctance from most Igbo to cooperate with the so called ‘south-South’ so they’re not accused of expansionism and eyeing other people’s oyel and gas! A lot of people from this south-south have swallowed a lot of the lies sold to them by outsiders bent on limiting Igbo territory and influence in the Niger-Delta region....bent on maintaining their firm grip on Niger-Delta hydrocarbons....bent on denying Ndigbo access to the sea (this one’s just out of pure, irrational hate)....and who are bent on sustaining their gravy-train that is ‘one Nigeria’ for as long as possible! ![]() |
Chrisus:That’s Nigerians for you....holier than the Pope and with a life that’s whiter than white! That gives them the right to judge others and see if their ‘morality’ measures up to their high standards! ![]() |
To be fair....all southerners in that party are cowards! I don’t know how they manage to live with themselves and sleep at night given the blatant level of favouritism, nepotism and greed he shows towards his core muslim north and religion....all to the exclusion and detriment of the south and southerners! Funny thing is Buhari no send and doesn’t give a fuc/k about our hurt feelings!? He knows our angst will not pass blowing of plenty grammar, so he can go to bed and sleep blissfully with his two eyes closed! Shit gets real when start talking of the likes of Mazi Kanu or Sowore! |
RareDiamond:Your trying to change the narrative on Aba is commendable! Though it has to be said NdiAba are not helping matters with their dumb siddon-dey-look attitude! Evil people, bigots, imposters and those who seek to cause division and embarrassment to Aba in particular and Ndigbo in general are all over this forum starting threads filled with falsehood and old pics with the sole aim of demarketing our cities and states, and trying to cause divisions among us! Yet instead of Aba people to take on the OP and challenge the currency and accuracy of the pics taken and assertions made, they just keep quiet! If those pics are not the true state of things in Aba today, i’d have expected them to ask the OP the exact street/market in Aba where those pics were taken, and then go out and take their own to counter the false narrative being spread! But instead, they’re in the parlour, sprawled out bellefull and lazily in front of the TV, picking their teeth after a hearty Christmas meal and occasionally glancing at their mobile/tablet for latest gist/gossip on social-media like nairaland! As far as they’re concerned, let someone else handle the Aba problem! This is the same cavalier attitude they take towards elections as well! |
Outreachms:The OP should tell us which streets/markets these are, so anyone living in Aba could go out and take recent pics of the area! Abia1stSon |
The moderator that pushed this thread to front page, has he/she confirmed these pics are recent? Did it rain recently in the past three/four days in Aba? Also, people living in Aba that recognise the areas shown in those pics, should go out today that's a public holiday to take current pics of the area to either confirm or refute the claims made by the OP! Abians are generally nonchalant and have a cavalier attitude to governance and promoting their cities....always thinking someone else should do it! |
