Many women of today are benefitting from Feminism that was started in the past, you need to read the history behind the movement, it has nothing to do with sexists against men instead it was the other way round.

Most people get the ideology of feminism wrong due to wrong information and different ideologies, feminism has been polluted, abused by people of today.

I use to think feminism was all about men-hating-competing group in the past due to ignorance.

Then the problem is lack of indoctrination and awareness.

Indoctrinate the women, create awareness, let them know about feminism, it's objectives, aims and advantages. Let them be charged and encouraged to embrace and practice it.

Bro, so called Nigerian False Feminist do that? They will tag it slavery.

True Feminism never told a woman not to be submissive and respectful to her man. As a matter of fact True Feminism tells a woman to be submissive and respectful to her man (if he deserves it) but with her rights intact. True Feminist do that.
BUT
False Feminism kicks against submission and respect of women to their man. It calls it slavery and gender inferiority. False Feminist are the doers and promoters of this.

Feminism is not bad, as a matter of fact, Feminism is the illumination of the society. Although Feminism due to the nature of our contemporary society is divided into two: True Feminism and False Feminism.

True Feminism is a movement that supports the Equality (in terms of rights and privileges), equity and fair treatment of women in the society, not treating them (women) as inferior or sub class beings. That's what it means and a True Feminist possesses the above ideology. A true feminist seeks and strive for gender equality (in terms of rights and privileges) and equity. A true feminist strive for the respect of women in the society. A true feminist strive for financial independency of women. A true feminist doesn't discriminate gender wise. The motto of a True feminist is " What's good for the man is likewise good for the woman. What's bad for the man is likewise bad for the woman". A true feminist is a strong woman, a woman of honour, dignity and respect.
BUT
False Feminism on the other hand is a movement formed by some confused women trying to bring Feminism into their confusion. This particular movement proposes total male dominance and control. It is also a misandrist movement.
False feminist are the ones upholding such ideology. False feminist aren't Feminist at all but just confuse feminist wannabe who doesn't know what feminism is all about. This are the ones giving a bad name to Feminism. They mar it's image.

Funnily, Nigeria is a Feminist nation because it offers equal opportunities, rights and privileges to both gender educationally, security wise, careerly, professionally, politically etc. So the question I always ask myself is, what then do feminist want in Nigeria.

Anyways, Feminism, True Feminism is good. It is an eye opener, a social deliverance to a social bondage. It is a noble course. It should be encouraged not discouraged.
