This country is definitely on autopilot, God help us. It is the same Buhari. People voted for him because he was tough during his military regime. Nigerians hate weak president. |

Nigerians asked for a strong man in 2015 because they claimed GEJ was weak. Now they got one and are now complaining. They wanted someone who won't follow the laws so he can jail alleged corrupt people. They praised him when he illegally arrests and detains "corrupt" people. They called him fearless and trended #ThatsMyPresident when his agents were invading the opposition's and judges' house and humiliating some. Those who speak against the excesses were called beneficiary of corruption.
Unfortunately, when faced with another choice in the future, Nigerians will likely choose another "strong" lawbreaker. They believe that only a lawbreaker can perform magic and fix all the country's issues. Those who follow the law are termed as "weak". |

Neddstark: Feminist Coalition who has been sponsoring the protests are a faceless group in abroad. Stupid youths, suddenly believe they have power made it their job to block the roads and frustrate government, not knowing it is themselves they are frustrating. Other states copied it, now they have used it to destroy law and order. The two main prisons in a massive Edo state has been let out open. Expect cultism and crime in that state to triple and of course no police to restore law and order unless military comes in. The protests have done nothing more than taking Nigeria backwards. Criminals, cultists and kidnappers are extremely happy that there is less police presence on the streets. Let the blockade protests end now. The name of the organization is itself a fraud. It was made to draw sympathy from the gullible liberal West. |

Loandbehold: Oshiomole didn't fight the government. He fought his opposition. He was always a snake and will forever be a snake. Then nobody is fighting the government. Sowore is also fighting the opposition. Sowore is even worse because he is fighting anyone who is blocking his political progress. Sowore has been fighting since his university days. He has fought almost all regimes. He never picked any side and kept quiet when things weren't going well. He always spoke out. He has tried riling up the youths for a long, long time. We were just not ready until now. And the #EndSARS protest is a very commendable movement but that's not enough. They've dissolved SARS but people are still chanting #EndSARS. His movement would have been the best because it is/was vague enough to cover basically every issue. He should at least be respected for that. He should never be prevented from participating in anything. He has every right to protest just like every other citizen so pushing him is a No No. It doesn't matter if he has been fighting from his womb, his aim is very clear. Seizing power to enact the agenda of his foreign sponsors. He can protest on his own, nobody his holding him back. But he cannot hijack what doesn't belong to him. |

Loandbehold: It's really disappointing to see how the protesters in Abuja treated Sowore. This guy has literally been fighting the government of Nigeria and has tried his best to stir the people to take matters into their hands and protest. He was even locked up for the cause. Fighting the government is not an achievement. Mugabe and Oshiomole fought the government in their day. How did they turn out? |
