I mentioned illiteracy as one of the factors.
Education has its place but no amount of education can change someone's socieconomic reality.

Even in countries with well-founded sex education, income plays a big role in rates of HIV and other STI infections
between the haves and havenots.

SA despite adopting sex education has 10 times worse HIV stats than Nigeria with little to none.

My point is that there are multiple factors at play here and no one solution is enough.

Perhaps, you are not in Nigeria, has been home-bound or don't stay in one of the active cities.

Regular policemen aren't fools, they won't risk being at the wrong place.
When BLM protests was at its peak, cops stayed away even when shops
are being looted and burned a stone throw from their position.
The last thing they want is another accident to provoke protesters.


Many police unit have left their regular corners and are staying safe at the station
because their presence may provoke further unrest.

After banning Sars, we need to purge our society off fraud. Fraud has killed this country both home and away.

I was not even in support of #EndSars as it was being currently proposed because I think it wouldn't change much.

It will have been a different case if SARS charge Yahoo boys to court.
But they never do it because they are partners.

This same act these policemen are doing is exactly what these foreign websites are doing to all Nigerians. Many web services have blacklisted Nigeria even though not all of us are into fraud. Many foreign customers as a freelancer will run a way from u once they know u are a Nigerian who lives in Nigeria that is why many freelancers use fake identity.

No foreign website collects money from Yahoo boy and let them operate freely after.
