Joey82,

OK, Beyonce's song out.

But I still maintain my stand on this issue.

What I mean by spoiling him is making him feel like your world revolves round him, like 'oh my gosh, I'm so happy I've got you in my life' sort of thing and meaning every single word you say or every single action you perform.

Just pamper him, nice gifts now and then but if he flops, let him know you could just walk out and not be the worse for it. With an air of 'I'm cool, I don't need you in my life to stay that way.

Guess what, he'll give you that call you just might be waiting for!
RomanceRe: Jilt Him Before He Jilts You by yimiton(f): 1:31pm On Oct 18, 2007
Oh Joey82,

Because they enjoy it more that way. It makes you thick and it makes guys feel you're confident and independent.
Spoiling your guy a little now and again is OK but
Ever listen to irritable by Beyonce?
Guys never leave girls like that!

@ Efua,
I feel you. Some of our ladies do have hearts.
RomanceRe: Jilt Him Before He Jilts You by yimiton(f): 1:23pm On Oct 18, 2007
Emm. . . . Maybe I've got no feelings!
I sincerly think there's no point going on your knees when it is clear the guy does not want you anymore
I'll rather walk out and he comes after me if he still wants in the relationship. Even a call from him could make a lot of difference. I hate humaliation and would rather cry on my pillow than make a guy feel he's still in a relationship with me because I 'begged' him to stay. Like out out pity.

I really wouldn't do that, no matter how much I love him. My elder sister used to say, 'let him go, if he truly belongs to you, he'll get back to you'
RomanceRe: Am I Realy A Fair Weather Friend by yimiton(f): 12:40pm On Oct 18, 2007
I understand that she was mad at you. What I don't understand is why she should call you such names especially an opportunist. Does she want to be paid for all the times she was there for you or what?
What else were you suppose do after the apology, lick the grounds or what?
In my own openion, a lot of people ask for too much when they've helped people out at one time or the other, must we always become demanding and ask to be paid back?

Your friend had every right to be mad at you but none to call you names or ask for a pound of flesh in payment for a cup of water.
RomanceRe: Jilt Him Before He Jilts You by yimiton(f): 12:05pm On Oct 18, 2007
Yes!
I totally agree the poster.
When he starts finding faults where there used to be none, doesn't call as often as he used to, stop buying presents, your dress sense suddenly not good enough, not keeping to dates, becoming suddenly very quiet and angry, then, it's time to jilt him and fast too!
Don't let him give you and 'I think we need to talk' nonsence, tell him first, and walk out with your head held high.

I thought we were talking to a woman of 25 here. No wonder all the crying and ignoring and all of that.
Please leave all these adult game and go the library.
You're far too young to burden yourself with issues of these nature. Imagine saying you hate your life right now!

PoliticsRe: MEND Threatens To Blow Up The 3rd Mainland Bridge by yimiton(f): 8:25am On Oct 18, 2007
Blowing up the third main land bridge wouldn't be militia any more but terrorism.
For threatening us so badly already shows they are terrorists.

But is the story actually true or is it just the figment of people's imagination?

Terribly bad that people of a country (brothers) now terrorise each other. We've totally lost the concept of brotherhood in this country.
PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Member Slumps And Dies In Etteh Must Go Brawl by yimiton(f): 8:20am On Oct 18, 2007
This is rather an unfortunate situtation. If our law makers have come to this, what sort of laws will they make to govern us? This is indeed a very sad story. cry embarassed sad angry
RomanceRe: Too Many Words Left Unsaid. by yimiton(f): 10:56am On Oct 16, 2007
No, nothing else to say.
How can you tell a guy loves you when he hasn't even 'admitted'.
Wake up gurl, I know guys, when they love you, they say it.
When you said he was moving, I thot he was going real far, like the United States or some other countries.
But if he's here in Nigeria and you say he's moving out, then, by all means, let him go and go about your normal life.
Good luck!

@ c_blow,
What if I decide not to read your post before contributing.
This sounds to me like a lil boy saying "but I said it first". Ok, I didn't notice you and I decided to reply to the thread the best way I could. Besides, repeated words like that could make him realise just how wrong he was.
I think you are totally rude with that response. Pretty disappointed. I'd seen one of your replies and I thot you were sound. But not any more. embarassed huh shocked

Oyibo Rekpete!
Boy, this story is so funny. I mean the way it was told.

But why on earth would you beat up a lady?
What sort of place do you work anyway that you can 'bit' a woman up and not get fired.
If you still have your job, go and apologize, it is barbaric to 'bit' a lady up.

RomanceRe: Too Many Words Left Unsaid. by yimiton(f): 10:49am On Oct 15, 2007
Sweet heart,
Did you say he's leaving? as in travelling out of the country?
It could be quite difficult and confusing but what I'll advice you to do is: tell him how you feel about him and you guys can have a loose arrangement. That is: If and when he returns and both of you are still available, good for you, you continue from where you stopped. If not, no heart aches.
He doesn't owe you anything, neigther do you owe him anything. But trust me, somehow in your subconscious minds, if you trully love and care for each other, you'll get to gether someday, somehow.
This is better than letting go totally.
Meanwhile, don't put him in your heart when he's gone and cry wolf if he doesn't come back to you. Live your life as if he's gone for ever. If he calls, good, if he doesn't call, well, he's not obliged to.
RomanceRe: Should I Still Be Calling Him Like Before? by yimiton(f): 9:05am On Oct 15, 2007
What does he take you for, a fool? he wants to dump you and still have all your attention. He's not worth a free text message how much more a call.
Delete him from your heart, your mind and your phone and dump him like trash.
I wish you could love and date his brother or best friend! then, he'll know how cool it is to dump someone and still be 'keep in touch'
RomanceRe: Too Many Words Left Unsaid. by yimiton(f): 9:01am On Oct 15, 2007
If this guy is still within your reach, go after him and let him know how much you care about him.
Don't let this opportunity pass you by, you may never have it again. It's not easy to meet someone you love and loves you back. Most times, you don't get to love those who love you or vis visa.
If he says he doesn't feel anything for you anymore, then, you'll know you've done what needs to be done. Get up, dust yourself and move on. You may be lucky again.
Good luck!

RomanceRe: If Your Boyfriend Steals To Satisfy You: by yimiton(f): 6:00pm On Oct 13, 2007
How much are we talking about here? How intelligent is the stealing? If we're talking about $1millionUS and above, with solid intelligent technical plans that got sour somewhere along the line, trust me, I'll visit him in prison at least I can take care of the loot while he's holed up in Kirikiri mazimum prison. Anything less? I'll borrow legs and ruuuuuuuuuuuuun!!

On a serious note, it's totally stupid for any guy to steal to satisfy a woman. I'll definitely squit the relationship.

@ Poster,
I wonder if you ever came back to check this link for the answer to your question. I went to your profile to see if you have you email add there so that I could send my attachment to you but I didn't find it in your profile.
I hope the interview was successful though
