CultureRe: Learning French Language by yimiton(f): 5:36pm On Nov 02, 2007
Go to the French Village in Ajara Badagry. If you have about 3 months to spare learning French full time, that's where you should be.
It's not expensive and accomodation is provided. You also have the opportunity to visit neighbouring French countries to mix up with them and speak their language.
I don't have the phone number now, but just drive to badagry, the school is along the way and the sign board is very conspicous, you can't miss it. If you do, ask a passerby.

LiteratureRe: Sidney Sheldon: I Need Your Views On This Author by yimiton(f): 3:48pm On Nov 01, 2007
Sidney Sheldon is my all time favourite.
I started with 'If tomorrow comes' went on to 'The stars shine down' and couldn't stop until now. I have read about 10 of his novels not I've not been disappointed by any.
I have been looking for his complete works, I want to have every novel that Sidney Sheldon has ever written have have them for keeps.
The amazing thing about him is the way he tells the story, he takes you along, you get so involved you feel you're a part of the world he has created. You feel the pains and the  pleasures of his characters.
I'm simply addicted to him.

RomanceRe: Girls, Why The Protruding Tummy by yimiton(f): 2:37pm On Nov 01, 2007
This is so not true!

Only a few girls have putruding tummies like their few male counterparts. 80/100 is so wrong.

Maybe most of the ladies you see are either pregnant or have had babies and just couldn't get their tummies firm again.
Boy, my tummy is almost as flat as my back!
RomanceRe: Affairs Of The Heart:pls Help! by yimiton(f): 2:09pm On Nov 01, 2007
I don't want to lose this girl .
How can you loose someone that is not yours. Wake up, get a life! Every body gets burnt at one time or the other. If you don't want to be turned down by a lady you think is interested in you, then, sit back, wait until she comes forward to ask you out.
my family is respected and in my church every action is deeply analysed and meanings read too quickly
If you know your intentions are genuin, you have nothing to fear.

Go ahead, tell her our mind, I hope you're over 23 meanwhile and see what she's got to say. You'll never know if you don't ask her.
RomanceRe: Could This Be True? by yimiton(f): 1:51pm On Nov 01, 2007
What has virginity got to do with tatoos? undecided

This might sound strange or outrightly stupid, but it is possible to be 'a wild party girl' with tatoos and still maintain your hymen. (If that is all virginity is about!) angry

A lady can kiss like a 100 guys, even let them funddle her, flirt with them crazy and say NO! to sex, tell you what, it's possible. All she has to do is to tell herself that absolutely no man is going down there! And guess what, if a girl is still a virgin (maybe I should say, 'If a girl has never had sex') and she decides to remain that way, there's no amount of smooching you'll do that will make her give it up. Once she feels you close, real close, she'll push you aside.

I keep saying to myself, why do people associate virginity with nice cool and 'virgin mary' look?
It's absolutely wrong!
There are lots of BBAAAAAAAAAADDDD virgins out there.
Bro, I know what I'm talking about! If your girl says she's a virgin, then, she just might be a virgin!
RomanceRe: Should Married People Flirt ? by yimiton(f): 1:35pm On Nov 01, 2007
In as much as flirting could be fun, it should be reserved strictly for the unmarried.
There are things that can't just be carried over. Weather it's the man or woman, flirting is strictly prohibited for the married.

You shouldn't go about looking for trouble and when you get it, you start shouting wolf!

jendordino:
NAIRALAND, is a place where you can find solution
to riddles,miseries of life,opportunity etc
so for bringing the problem for nairalander:s suggestion is
good but not informing the said lady, that is where you
got it wrong.
and for coming back to the same NAIRALAND
for judgement and prosecution, that shows you
believe in us.
so here comes my judgement,
young man you are wrong for discusing her private life
in public without her consent
That is so so true!
Weather you called her name or not, it was her problem, not yours, so you owed it to her to get her consent before talking about it.

This is so beautifully written. Not a boring moment reading that.
LiteratureWhat Do You Think Of Sidney Sheldon & Thomas Hardy? by yimiton(op): 6:51pm On Oct 31, 2007
An author plays God. He has the power to create his characters, write their destinies, will them to do what ever he wants and do what so ever he wants with them. They are powerless in his arms, he's God!

That is why I'm angry at Sidney Sheldon and Thomas Hardy.

Did you notice how Sidney created Jennifer Parker (rage of the Angels), raised her up from ground to the highest level and through no fault of hers, simply distroyed her!

It made me remember Henchard in Thomas Hardy's Mayor of Castrabridge or even Tess of the D'urberville. They were both destroyed by circumstances surrounding them, circumstances they couldn't control.
Sometimes, I feel these guys are sadists. But I still love them so so much.

Fellow novel lovers, let's compare authors here. I'll prefer the old vs the new.

I love Sidney Sheldon! and of the old ones, I think Thomas Hardy is still one of the greatest.

Not there, but I won't mind a little more hight. Yes, I'm pretty tall for a lady, but I like the idea of people having to look up to me. grin , so, I'll add 3 inches to my 5'6'.
Em. . . . Yes, that too, it's cute, but I won't mind a cup size more!, 34 to 34 large! grin cheesy tongue

And finally, transform my skin to a little baby's, not the colour but the feel and texture! shocked

Guess non of these is practically possible, so, let's wish on. angry cry

Good thing though, I'm cool with me, but maybe I'm greedy or asking for too much!
RomanceRe: Ladies Pls Help ?my Gurlfriend Asks Me For Money Too Much ? by yimiton(f): 10:55am On Oct 31, 2007
I have always been of the opinion that partners should know how much the other is worth so that both of you can plan together.

If your girlfriend is sincer and genuinly wants this relationship, I guess she'll rather let you both invest in things that will be worthwhile in the long run rather than to go on a shopping spree with your money.

What you should do is not just to tell her how much you're worth but exactly what you think both of you should do with the money. Make sure to include her in your plans and ask for her suggestions.

On the other hand, a lot of women become demanding on their man when they feel threatened, like 'if i don't spend his money, he'll spend it on someone else!'

If you're not that type, sit her down, have a good talk and tell you what, every woman is very good with planning and investing. Just let her be a part of your plans for the future and see how much better that will be.

HealthRe: My Wife Has A Mental Problem by yimiton(f): 9:44am On Oct 31, 2007
@ Poster,
This is indeed sad but I must say you sound a bit selfish.
You really didn't sound as if you care about weather she hurts herself or not but you're concerned about being hurt and not being able to have children.
My advice to you is to accept the situation as it and try to live with it. She needs love, care and understanding.

This is an advice to other people around, when you meet anyone, weather on line or any where at that, try to get to know the person very well before committing yourself to marriage. Make sure you can live with the person, spend as much time as possible together even before you start dating officially. If and only if you see you are compatible should you start a relationship.
Remember, not all that glitters is gold. That she can take you over to the USA does not make the marriage perfect. This is a life thing.
Be cautious, very very cautious.

RomanceRe: Ladies: Your Love Life Or Your Career. Must We Choose? by yimiton(f): 5:59pm On Oct 30, 2007
This is a discision you'll have to make yourself.

You must find a way to balance your career with your relationship. It is very important that you don't let either of them suffer for the other.

If your fiance is asking you to move to Port harcourt and get professional certifications, I'm of the opinion that he's willing to sponsor the programs.

I really don't see anything wrong here, you don't have anything to loose. Remember, if you have to go and serve, you're bound to leave this job which you're doing now, but you don't need to leave your fiance.

The only area am not comfortable with is weather you're going to be living with him in PH or you'll have your accomadation. If he expects you to live with him, then, you might have to think twice. If not, please use this opportunity to get that really well deserved and useful certifications. You definitely won't regret it after service. Then, you'll have very good job opportunities.

Good luck. Let's know what your final descision is.
