Just look at the channels presenters faces at 1:53 - What is this man saying? 2:16 - Na wah oh! 2:37 - La, La, La! |
Sommy47: YES, YES, F*U*C*K YOU TOO!Hahahahaha! Dude you are a clown. Can't believe someone out there is still reping that movie, respect! |
This is disgraceful, but lets not forget that the corruption goes both ways, let me explain. The right thing to do when you get caught for any offence, is to accept the penalty, be booked and pay the fine or do the time. Obviously most Nigerians don't want that, hence they enter into negotiations with a more than willing police officer. Now in developed countries, the police vehicles have cameras and microphones which aid as a deterrent to the police officer accepting bribe. We need technology like that desperately in our Nigerian Police Vehicles. I believe we also need softer traffic laws, for instance, no one should have to go to jail for a simple traffic offence. If we had fines instead for traffic offenses, then I think most Nigerians, even if just out of spite to the useless police force, would rather go through the due process of paying their fines to the government, rather than enriching these touts. For now though, this guy has been caught on tape, and needs to be prosecuted. |
trolling: i can buy that, you should understand in life there is no gain without painTrue! Just like building muscle mass. You already hit the nail on the head by saying to put God first, I just needed people to realize that just because they put God first doesn't mean everything will be rosy all the time, but in our weakness and depression, he is STRONG. When I broke up with my first love, boy o boy, was I beyond depressed. That might not seem like a big problem to most people, and indeed in the larger scheme of things, it probably wasn't, but that didn't stop me from being depressed. Funny enough I found comfort in him (as they say, you don't call police when there is no trouble), it felt beautiful, the things I experienced. I saw visions, experience miracles, got the Engineering Job of my dreams(at least my old dreams, lol) and much more. Its just hard for people to see beyond their current situation of "weakness", instead they dwell on it, and that is understandable being in the human condition, however we should dwell on our strength then, for he is looking for the opportunity to make us believers, after restoring us from our current depressing situations. |
MalasparkBlog: While in their custody, embattled Rivers State law maker Chidi Lloyd claims he was blindfolded, battered and tortured by the Nigerian police and for that, he wants N50 billion as compensation.Sooooo Chidi, do you know what type of weapon they used to batter you? Was it also a mace? Oh, sorry, I forgot you were blindfolded. Anyway sha, Sowie.

trolling: thats because theyve idolized it,we are instructed not to put anything before Him,theyve made it/them the first priority in their lives, You shall have no other "gods" before HimI agree with you to some extent, that people idolize a lot of things. However, we still live in this world, and with that comes pain. Even if one wasn't idolizing anything, the pain of this world is still highly perceivable. Even the King of the Jews felt that pain, and asked if there was anyway the pain could be avoided. I guess what I am saying is that it is easy to give in at some moments, but all in all, if you truly put God first and depend on him for strength, then I guess his grace would be enough. |
Afolayinka: Stil cnt undastnd wat on earth will make sum1 thnk of commitin suicide.kudos 2 d wife anywayA lot of things my dear friend, we just have to hop we are never faced with such depressing circumstances, and if we are, that we have the grace to overcome it. A lot of people get suicidal, like after loosing your whole family, your job, maybe all your money, the list is endless. |
sammy329: It remind me of Rise of planet of ApeI knew it wouldn't take long for the Ape Revolution to begin after they watched their brothers in that movie. After I watched that movie with my Monkey, I told him to go back to his cage, and he shouted, NO! |
This seems to be a very sensitive issue, I would advise everyone to put themselves in the shoes of the Governor. First if what I heard about people just being dumped under the bridge is true, then that really is unfortunate. On the other hand, we need to ask ourselves how we would solve this issue of hawkers and beggars at almost every street. Some streets in Lagos have soo many beggars and hawkers, that once there is any sort of traffic jam, they proceed to fill up the roads, which ideally are only meant for cars. I think the real question people should ask themselves moving forward is "How would I tackle this issue as a Governor". Although we are all Nigerians, I do not subscribe to, for example, a homeless person pitching his tent right on the side of Lekki-Expressway and living there. That is not a good way to build a sane society, I think most of us will agree. One of the ways forward I think, would be to increase the amount of homeless shelters we have in this country. Instead of us arguing online, we could put efforts into giving donations to this shelters, so that when the government cleans up the streets, the homeless could have at least a temporary place to say. We also need a social welfare program in this country that would aid people that are at the bottom build their lives back up. |
NAIRALANDERS ARE FUNNY. U.S.A WARNS THAT NIGERIA WILL SPLIT SOON, EVERYBODY SAYS "U.S.A SHOULD MIND THEIR BUSINESS". BUT JUST LOOK AT THIS THREAD, ITS ALMOST LIKE ONE COUNTRY VS ANOTHER. |
I am wondering why they commissioned it when it is not finished yet. I am very concerned about the road in front of the airport, it looks pretty in the pic, I just hope it is implemented accordingly. I hope people don't get used to that sandy road as the norm. I have to commend them so far, but please they need to implement the designs to the letter.

pro01: Lol. My brother, don't make me laugh. You're dreaming of running when you have not even began to crawl yet. For instance, Igbo people that have spent all their lives in a former capital and major commercial hub such as Lagos are still taunted to "go back to your village" by Yoruba characters that are not even indigenes of Lagos State. Indeed, Igbo traders are not even allowed to choose their own market leader in their own markets in Lagos, instead,.they are rudely told to accept the Yoruba market leader imposed on them, or "go back to your village". Yet, you're talking about governorship. So why do we all pretend that we are one Nigeria? @bolded, if that is true, then it is really sad. |
emmatony: i will also ask you. if the world is a democracy why must a president be selected from his own country?Hahahaha! |
Close your eyes, and imagine... An Igbo/Yoruba person becoming a governor in the North(almost impossible right?), or the other way around. Must the next governor of Lagos be a Yoruba man? Must the next governor of Anambra be an Igbo man? ..... I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor of California State, and now Obama, a black man, is the President of the U.S.A. So it is quite evident that the U.S.A is practicing a true democracy, obviously not without faults. So if we truly are practicing a democracy here, and we all answer first as Nigerians, before Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, then why is it almost unthinkable for a minority tribe to hold the governorship within their residing states. I pose this question to Nairalanders, and Nigerians at large. Do we have a true Democracy? Or do we just have a mosaic of tribes, so to speak, putting up a united façade, when actually divided in reality? |
yuzedo: Lmao! Hungry idiôts have started again, gunning for the superstitious & gullible. "Predicted" eh? If I were the First family, I'd have this foòl whipped 12 lashes in public, then pass him on to the Tinubu's for 24 lashes.. And finally, Ngige for 36 lashes + manual labour in his farm. Stooopid man wants to sucker desperate politicians into "patronising" him. I spit on you!Yuzedo, is that you? When did you learn English, have you been taking classes? I am shocked at what I am reading. |
This should be on the front page. |
So it means that Wole Soyinka can be arrested for calling the first lady a SHIPPOPOTAMUS, when she is in fact a HOMO SAPIEN. |
sainty2k3: to-get-42mw-of-electricity-from-cameroonI have 100 Watts for sale if the government is interested, I will keep my Mitsubishi on standby. I will like to be featured on the Guardian newspaper, if not, I will accept the Punch Newspaper. Headline: "Nigeria to Get Electricity From Yoshi-Master"! |
Check out cops with huge Cojones arresting a "whole" mayor in Yankee, here it seems out police have pinkies down there. Their Justice is served to the highest bidder, sad! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa3C13TPjNU |
gboss4sure: You guys should Thank GEJ for having mercy on you guys who knows the number of people that would have been sent to jail for their comment on NL, Ezeblue and Gbawe would have died a longtime in detention because ACN or CPC wont even come to their aidSho!! Aren't we in a democracy again? If we were back in the dark ages, then it might be "off with your head" as it seems to be the case with Mr. Bonny, but we are practicing democracy in the 21st century. |
I learnt to park very well from GTA IV, now I can parallel park in real life, no sweat. The parking manual is now available at www.justconsolesnigeria.com

Damn, I need two of these, how do I place my order? |
Horus: https://www.novinite.com/media/images/2009-07/photo_verybig_105523.jpgI think it is now becoming a bit tolerable, but fact still remains that most people view the users as "good for nothings". Now I know not ever user is an upstanding member of the society, but to throw a blanket over all users seems harsh. For instance some people might notice a guy smoking a joint and immediately cast judgment on that person, while the same is not done when they notice a guy doing a shot of Patron. |
blink182: OP I hope you are not a kid. If not then buy yourself a packet of b&h, a bottle of alcoholic beverage, finally get 2 wraps of marijuana or the agbo root popularly called mukite.I assume you would get your Alcohol and Tobacco from a store, thereby getting authentic products. The same can not be said for marijuana as the market is currently unregulated, hence, one can't be sure of the purity of maruijuana sold. You say you will become crazy before you die, lol, that was funny. On a serious note though, so may professionals use this stuff on the low, even Obama has admitted on tape that he smoke marijuana as a kid, and I guess he didn't turn out to bee a loon. |
ba7man: Funny enough, you're likely to get violent and act unruly when you take alcohol.....With marijuana, u'll just walk around in a dream like state with a smile on your face.Exactly, I don't know why people stop applying scientific method, so to speak, when it comes to marijuana. Test 1: Motor Skills Test: Lets test the ability to balance on one feet while: A. Being impaired by alcohol and, B. Being impaired by marijuana. In Scenario A, the person will more than likely be unable to maintain his balance if indeed intoxicated, while in Scenario B, all motor skills remain in tact. |
oluface: Na so weLol, na so oh, hehe! Here is a quote from Harry Anslinger: "There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the U.S. and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music jazz and swing, result from marijuana usage. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers and any others." |
Please do not throw crap my way, lol, I am just hoping to get some different opinions as to why Marijuana is so demonized worldwide, I think it started from the U.S.A, and other countries followed suit. Tobacco kills about 440,000 people in the U.S.A per year. Alchohol kills about 25,692 people in the U.S.A per year. Marijuana kills 0 people per year in the U.S.A due to overdose. So why is it victimized so much? I have my reasons, but I would like to hear from the nairaland community, feel free to chime in. |
gmyguy: JOKES ASIDE, a friend of mine recently knocked down a policeman at lekki roundabout, the guy died, because he didnt use d pedestrian bridge at night. some people just put innocent drivers in harms-way. on a lighter note. some kids crossed the ozumba express at sandfield in style...they were dancing and somersaulting across. it was such a funny and skilful sight ...the funniest part was how they danced into the hands of waiting man-o-war officials...Tell me you're joking, cause if you're not, that is just too funny. |
